We have stayed at a lot of rental properties over the years but this one was by far, the best!! Everything was extremely clean and exactly as pictured. The absolute best part was the view. Pictures don't do it justice. We spent our mornings enjoying our coffee and in the evenings, we would get takeout from across the street just so we could enjoy the view. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Maui.

Had a little snafu just as we arrived to the room. Jan was very responsive. She immediately replied to my inquiry and was able to rectify the situation. This ground floor unit is in the perfect location on the property. Right next to the pool and hot tub + shuffle board and putting greens. The view though is the most incredible asset. You open your patio door onto the most beautiful landscape. Exactly what you come to the islands for. Perfect sunsets right out your back door. *This unit HAS a mini split a/c in the bedroom. Our friends stayed in a unit that did not have a/c in the bedroom and they were miserable. This one is great.

This was our 5th trip to Maui and we have found our new favorite place to call home! The unit was extremely clean and tidy, came stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas, along with plenty of towels for beach use. Speaking of the beach... the best part was having your own private beach and snorkel area just steps from the back slider! The unit also had a great A/C system and washer/dryer was super convenient. We definitely will look to stay here again. Thank you for having us!

We have been to Maui about 10 times, and this by far was out favorite property and favorite condo. It was better than the description. Having air condioning in the bedroom and the living room was a big plus! The bed was soooooo comfortable. The unit was well stocked. we loved the location of the unit, and opening the door and having the oceon right there was priceless. We will definately be making this the condo we return to. The property is so close to everything.

We stayed in the Stahl’s unit for a part of our trip on Maui for our honeymoon. The unit was very clean, equipped with everything we needed including cooking tools and snorkel gear. Waking up to the view every morning makes it difficult to leave. Thank you for an amazing stay!! We will be back.

Property is beautiful and well-maintained. Ground floor unit is really convenient to get in and out. Mostly hung out here, because why go anywhere else? Nice pools. Hot tubs were actually hot, not 101-102 degrees. Loved the lily ponds.

The location was perfect for whale watching right off our lanai. We enjoyed the pools and hot tubs in the evening and rented snorkel gear easily from the concierge.

We loved the location. We sat on the lanai and watched whales all day. Walkability to the grocery store was a major bonus, and Lahaina is both close and far away enough to enjoy. Host was very quick to respond.
We will look at availability here before we book anywhere else on this side of the island.

This condo was ideal - walk out on the patio & the sea is at your doorstep. Sipped coffee & watched whales very close to shore. Sunsets are fantastic. Condo is well equipped with everything you need. Highly recommended!

This is a very nicely appointed condo that has everything a person could ask for. I hate to write a good review because I want to keep it as a hidden gem for myself. The location of this unit was perfect. Within walking distance to the boardwalk along the ocean and the unit location within the resort was perfect. Condo was beautiful and very well appointed. Views of ocean are spectacular from inside the condo and on the patio. Kitchen was new and had everything you needed. Bathroom and Linens were excellent quality. Owner was fabulous and not only was available to discuss anything, she also provided excellent recommendations on restaurants, sites to see, directions, etc. Will definitely rent again on next trip to Maui!!!

The location of this condo is simply unbeatable. This is truly an ocean front unit, close to restaurants, shopping and fantastic beaches. Watching the sunsets every night from the lanai is an incredible experience! The unit itself is nicely updated, well stocked with everything you will need and has a dual zone air conditioner. I cannot reiterate how nice the air conditioning is at night while sleeping. Overall, I would highly recommend this condo, as we had an amazing 10 days in Maui.

We had an amazing stay for three nights at Papakea F-104. The view was world class, the resort was beautiful, and the unit was clean and comfortable. We especially appreciated the comfortable bed and all of the beach equipment available. Can't wait to stay here again!

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The view was out of this world, it was close to very thing with a short drive. This was our first time to Hawaii and we enjoyed every minute. The condo was perfect it had everything you needed. We loved having our morning coffee and looking at the ocean. The pool sites were great. We are hoping to return in a couple of years we will definitely stay here again.

Jan was very responsive and we loved our stay. Beautiful property with the best view in the resort. We spent a lot of time on the deck - especially watching the sunset. Lots of amenities like foldable chairs for the beach, snorkeling equipment, games, etc. will be going back again!!!

The accommodations were fantastic! In fact the photos did not do justice to the beauty or the majestic view! We loved sitting outside and seeing rainbows in the morning and stars at night!

We were fortunate enough to stay at this Papakea condo for just over a week. The condo itself is decorated beautifully, clean, updated, and super comfortable. We were particularly impressed with the quality of the sofa bed mattress and the master bed was very comfortable as well. The location and view is unparalleled, the lanai is just steps away from the ocean, with a lovely view of Molokai framed by palm trees. We saw whales several times, many gorgeous rainbows, and the sunsets are amazing. The resort is well maintained and the staff and other guests were very friendly. If you are looking for a west Maui location with a homier feel than the high rise resorts, this is an ideal option. The owner was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. A traditional grocery store and farmers market/natural grocery store are within easy walking distance. The only "negative" depending on what you are looking for is that there is not direct beach access (at least in winter), during our stay the ocean was too wild to feel safe entering it at this location for swimming or snorkeling. BUT, there are multiple great beach access points within a very short drive or longish walk, we were on the beach within minutes each morning. And we felt the location, view, and overall experience at this condo were far superior to other places we've stayed that have slightly closer beach access. We have stayed in many different condos in Maui and this one will now be at the top of our list for a return visit!!

Stayed at this beautiful ocean-front condo thru the Labor Day holiday. The condo is upgraded in all respects. Countertops, cabinets, bathroom, shower, appliances, paint, etc. ...and it's steps to the ocean!
The owner is very cooperative and nice to deal with.
Comfortable bed and sofa. Kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. Washer& dryer included. A+ and recommended.

This is the third time we've stayed at the Papakea and the second time in Jan's unit. It is by far the best location and we are so glad we stayed here again. It is such a beautiful spot and the convenience of being able to just step onto your lanai and be ocean front is our favorite part. Jan is fabulous to deal with and treated us great. The unit is stocked with anything you need and the Papakea is across the road from the grocery store, so everything is within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again in the future! This is our 5th stay at the Papakea Resort and our second visit to this specific unit. It is wonderful, 25 feet (+/-) to the seawall. It is magnificent to sit on the lanai and watch the whales and dolphins. We have already reserved for next January, I guess you can say its become one of our favorite places on earth ! The unit is comfortable and kitchen has everything you need. There is a grocery nearby which is a plus. This year we enjoyed a zipline ...it was really fun. There are many to choose from, we chose the one that is near Kaanapali thru Skyline EcoAdventure.
