The property is a condo type location with a pool and bar in view from balcony, also is view to a degree is the ocean. For those complaining about the view of ocean, all the pictures are accurate, I had no issue and view was what I expected. The owner is very nice and kind and I can tell she wanted us to be comfortable and have a good time.

We normally stay at another place and always wanted to stay near Castaway Cafe. It was well worth the change... this place is peaceful quiet ocean front has the great castaway cafe for dining and we just looooooooooove the gardens. The unit is perfection with the upstairs bedroom.... a proper condo! Cant be beat really

We have stayed at MKV many times. We love this property and have stayed in several units. This was a great unit for my husband and I. Photos well represented the unit. Close to the pool, beach and Castaways restaurant - looking forward to our next stay!

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful vacation. The condo is just as advertised and all the amenities were just as we needed them to be from the comfortable bed to the stocked kitchen to the beach chairs and then there is the view from the lanai. The view is to die for! Eating breakfast while gazing at the ocean is heavenly.

We had a fantastic view and location. The patio overlooked the pool and provided a great view of the ocean. This was an ideal spot for spending the week in Maui.

We have stayed at this property many, many times but this condo is one of the nicest of all and in a perfect location in the resort. Fantastic communication from George! The condo was equipped with everything one could need on vacation. We hope we have the opportunity to rent this wonderful place again in the future. Maui no ka oi!!

This property has just one bed.
The owner George knew I was coming with my brother and he didn’t inform us.
There was a sofa, but it only had two cushioms.
I notified him that my brother was not able to stay at the property and he had to find his own place to stay since he wasn’t comfortable sleeping in the bed with me. I also informed VRBO, but I booked this property for two people and it wasn’t fit for two people unless you’re a couple willing to sleep together.
Instead of somehow reimbursing me, George changed his listing to make it a little more accurate. VRBO Told me they could not help me since I did not make the complaint within the first 12 hours (my flight was actually canceled and I missed the first 24 hours of this reservation).
I would also say, that the ocean is barely visible if you lean your head off the balcony.
This is the reason they put mirrors on the side wall of the balcony, to make the ocean visible by reflection only.
Also, Retail floors are fairly grimy, so I had to leave my sandals on the entire time. I put a towel down next to the shower, The white towel turned dark with dirt. Also, the TV/remote/menu was not functional. Netflix also did not work on the TV.
I am a frequent traveler number and therefore I am shocked and surprised by the other reviews.

This was my 2nd time to this property (different room this time) and it's even better than the first. The resort is in a great location, easy access to miles of beach, swimming, food and activities. Clean, accurate description of room and process before I got there was fantastic as George was beyond prompt on answering all my questions and concerns. Highly recommend George and Vrbo.

Over many years we have stayed at several properties in the "oceanside" category. This is by far the best equipped in terms of cooking, cleaning and general amenities. Great view, comfy bed - very happy with our stay.

This unit is very comfortably set up for a couples stay, but easily can entertain six, as I did a number of evenings. The deck overlooks the pool, restaurant, out to the beach, ocean and Lanai and is a wonderful spot to have a meal or just relax. If you are a "big resort" kind of person, this may not be your kind of place. For me the MKV would always be my first choice for a wonderful Hawaiian holiday.

Loved our stay in Maui. MKV was a perfect resort for us. If you are looking for a smaller and quieter resort this is it. the condo was exactly like the pictures. Very clean and nicely updated. Fully equipped kitchen and large lanai was great. The first morning having coffee on the lanai we saw whales spouting in the distance! What a way to start holiday! The owners Cynthia and George will answer any questions you may have. They are quick to respond with any issues. As others have said the spiral staircase is v tight and may be difficult for people who have knee or hip problems. It was too tight to get our suitcases upstairs but not a big deal. Would definitely come back to this condo again.

We had a fabulous stay here! The location is just perfect for walking around town & short drives to some of our favorite beaches! We loved the relaxed setting of the condo. The inside of this condo is beautifully done! I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Kaanapali.Our communication with the condo owners Cynthia and George was fantastic they responded in a very timely manner to any enquiry during the booking process and right up to the end of our stay. They were also very helpful with recommendations for local services. The condo owners provided a folder with comprehensive info on all the local amenities and recommended eating - very helpful!
We will be making this a regular stay, cannot say enough thank you so much. Steve & Veronica

We had a wonderful time there.
We enjoyed the lanai overlooking the pool and ocean and especially enjoyed the location of the complex.The condo was as the photos showed.The owners are very concerned that their guests have an enjoyable experience.
The condo was well maintained, spotless and very comfortable for us.
We highly recommend it.

My husband & his family have stayed at Maui Ka'anapali Villas twice, and my husband & I have stayed at MKV twice---we loved every moment of it. The pool & hot tub are clean and beautiful, and you can walk straight from your condo through the lawn and onto the beach. You can snorkel right there & see a ton of sea turtles!
This particular condo (Dolphin #277) has the ideal location! It's on second floor, so you can safely leave the sliding doors open at night and listen to the ocean as you sleep. The condo is classy & comfortable. The decor is perfect for a Maui condo, without being obnoxious or overly beachy. We ate every meal on the lanai which provides a perfect view of the ocean AND has mirrors on the opposite wall so that wherever you sit on the lanai you have a view of the ocean. The condo is extremely clean & well-maintained. We had one concern as soon as we arrived (the bed supports weren't secure) and the condo owner sent a repairman over immediately! The kitchen has everything you need and was recently redone. We loved every minute we spent here (of course the majority was spent enjoying the beach & pool area!).
We highly recommend staying at Maui Ka'anapali Villas, particularly this condo! It was a wonderful experience.

The two of us loved it! Perfect for two people. Every amenity you could want in the unit is there. And everything is neat and tidy and labeled. Location at the MKV resort is perfect, allowing us a view from the lanai of the pool and the water as well. Everything described in the owner's description is right-on. And Kaanapali beach is the greatest in the world! Once you step onto the beach from this unit, we rented snorkels and cabanas, and we walked north to Napili a few miles on the beach, and also south a shorter distance to Black Rock. One thing to note for people considering rental here: spiral staircase up to the bedroom loft is best for people who have no mobility problems. It is narrow, and although it was no problem for us, if you have mobility problems you may want to consider that issue! Air conditioner worked great, and the whole area is simply "paradise". The owners clearly take pride in ownership in their unit. We cooked most of our food in the very nice kitchen, and brought lunches to our daily destinations. Great communication with the owners.

Fantastic location - overlooking the pool and only a few steps to the ocean. The condo has everthing you may need to have a great vacation. Although we prefer to eat out, we did prepare a few meals in the condo. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare all meals and a BBQ is located at the next building. We enjoyed the meals and our morning coffee on the large balcony. The living room has comfortable seating, TV, DVD and an apple hookup - but who watches TV when in Maui. Wifi come with daily resort fee. The bedroom is located up a spiral staircase in a loft overlooking the living/dining room - comfortable bed, another TV and a large walk in closet. A little difficulty to carry your luggage upstairs, but two trips solved the problem. Finding a close parking space was difficult some evenings but lots of parking out back at the next building.
We had a great vacation and are already planning our return.

Aloha - The condo is nicely decorated and well equipped. The oversized lanai is a great place to watch whales in the mornings and relax and watch the sunsets in the evenings. The beach is beautiful and not crowded. We love Ka'anapali and will be back! Mahalo
