Our island home is located in a particularly picturesque and peaceful place. It is far enough away from the pool to be quiet yet convenient, in front of our lanai is a waterfall and the lagoon, vibrant flowers, green lawns that are well maintained and in the mornings and evening the sweet song of the saffron warblers are so happy.

The lanai is a generous 600 square feet, and the Brown Jordan furniture makes a great place to relax.

We chose 20' porcelain tile for durability in all the wet areas of the bathrooms and kitchen. The bathrooms and kitchen have all new tile, quartz counter tops, sinks and faucets. The primary bath features a very high end rain head and hand held shower head in the walk in shower. In the living areas and bedrooms we wanted a warm environment and put in antiqued bamboo flooring. Being distressed makes it have lots of character.

The Shores at Waikoloa Beach Resort, an upscale condominium complex only 20 minutes north of the airport. The Shores provides a resort experience with a short walk to one of the Big Island's best white sands beaches with a good surf break, restaurants, and shopping. The Shores is a beautifully landscaped property with five Koi ponds, an elevator, numbered parking, well-maintained swimming pool, jetted spa, two tennis courts, and an air-conditioned exercise room.

Minimum night varies seasonally 4 - 10 nights. Property is non-ADA compliant, non-smoking, and no are pets allowed.
