The property was as described and in the pictures. All the beach supplies were a huge bonus, especially the umbrella. The sun is strong at the beach. The location is perfect - close to a lot but without the busyness of some of the other developments in the area.

This was a very well equipped clean and gorgeous house with everything you need for a trip to the Big Island. We enjoyed the area and the pool and the grounds are well looked after. Convenient shopping beaches and restaurants close by. Highly recommended!

Thank you so much for a very comfortable stay at your beautiful condo. We had everything we needed for the week and really appreciated the full kitchen, laundry, beach towels and chairs. The location is great and the condo neighborhood was quiet and family friendly. Nice pool and hot tub. Close to shopping, beaches, grocery stores.

The layout of the upstairs master bedroom/bathroom was ridiculous. The in swinging door completely blocks the bathroom/closet when opened. The kitchen has plenty of dishes but the pots and pans leave a lot to be desired. The entry and the patio were in need of cleaning. Basically we were disappointed in our choose of this unit. It needs some attention

The location is central to lots of beaches and hiking. For me it was also close to family. The property is spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable. It had its idiosyncrasies - you have to get in the master shower before turning on the water unless you want to soak the floor (the shower head is not adjustable), the downstairs toilet has issues filling up with water (you have to remove lid and seat the rubber stopper), there are many light switches that do nothing and the Wi-Fi is not suitable for someone who wants to work from home. Minor fixes. I had a fabulous visit and was very comfortable in this beautiful home.

Wonderful experience and location. I’ve been to the Big Island many times and would stay at this property again in a heartbeat. One recommendation I’d make is to change the shower head in the master bathroom. When you turn on the shower, the water sprays out of the shower. There is no way to turn the shower head in a way that prevents this and the floor gets soaked as a result. Super minor detail to an otherwise fantastic property.

Our stay went very smoothly and we found the villa as presented on vrbo. Any questions were always answered quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed the property. Location is good, near several great beaches and the pool was also a bonus. We had grills right out our front door and used for several great meals in. We stayed with another couple and it worked very well. Also the chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and cooler for your beach outing was fantastic! Would definitely go back!!

We had a fantastic stay at Mechelle's Waikoloa townhome! A great place in a great location. We love the Big Island and enjoyed visiting a number of different places, for which Waikoloa is a good central home base, while being very close to the island's best beaches! We stayed for just under 2 weeks, but would highly recommend for longer stays as well. The town home complex itself is well appointed with two swimming pools, a small fitness facility, as well as golf courses and resorts all around. All in all a wonderful experience.

My family enjoyed this property. It was located near plenty of activity from shopping to beaches. The unit had plenty of beach equipment that made it easy to just grab and go. The only caution is that the sleeping situation may not work for all families with kids as there are only two beds, a king and queen. We would go again in a heartbeat. Thanks for the great opportunity and reasonable rate!

Loved staying at the condo! It came with everything we needed to enjoy the beaches. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. Never made it to pools because we spent our days at the beaches snorkeling! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful place with us.

The condo was very clean and included all of the essentials to enjoy at the beach including snorkels, masks, and towels. A very nice pool was just a short walk away.
We came to the Big Island to golf and this condo was near all of the courses we wanted to play.
The owner was very easy to communicate with and also left very clear instructions on how to enjoy our stay including suggestions for shopping and nearby restaurants.
I wish we were still there.

Mechelle was very helpful - easy to reach and easy to communicate with.
The property had everything we needed, even beach gear.
The pans in the kitchen could be replaced; they are a bit scratched up.
Beds are comfortable, and it was nice to have air conditioning during the hot summer nights.
We enjoyed our walks around the neighborhood. The location is great. It’s close to popular beaches and shopping centers.

This condo was as good as you can get in Waikoloa, very comfortable furnishings, well stocked kitchen, plenty of toiletries in the bathrooms, excellent outdoor equipment, a BBQ just across the drive and a nice walk to the pool & spa complex - there is even a gym if you want to exercise. We played golf at local courses and enjoyed the drive up to Makani Golf Club which was in good shape with improvements going on. The Colony Villas are well maintained and Mechelle has also made this condo very relaxing and welcoming; we will return on our next visit to our favorite island.

The condo itself was clean and well kept. Loved that there was beach chairs, tennis rackets, coolers, snorkeling gear and other many other beach toys. Mechelle was very quick answering all my questions and the booking was easy. The itinerary for check in she sent was detailed. There is two pools. Our boys loved both pools but we spent most of our time at the one farther away because it has a hot tub. Both are easy walking distance. The communal bbq is literally outside the door so that is really convenient as well.

Have stayed at many locations around the Waikaloa resort over the years, and what really stood out with this one is that while everything in the resort area is pretty much all within walking distance (1.5 miles at the most, that's walking distance for me) or a short drive, this was tucked back in a quieter/less traffic area, and buffered from the golf courses on both sides. Nice to not have to worry about ricocheting golf balls while having a snack/happy hour on the outside patio. Community pool area was nice, and proximity of barbeques roughly across the street very handy. Modern, well appointed kitchen as well.

Our family of four adults spent 10 days in December 2017. The condo is roomy, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and includes an extra quiet dishwasher. A full master suite was a bonus as we transitioned from swimming to site seeing. Mechelle, the owner was easy to work with and returned our deposit quickly. Waikoloa is a tourist community 0.8 mile from Starbucks and one mile from a nice swimming beach. We had a great visit and would return to this community again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our ten-night stay in the condo at Waikoloa Colony Villas. Upon arrival we found the condo to be very clean and spacious. The upgraded kitchen was nice. The king-size bed upstairs was very comfy. We made good use of the beach chairs, beach towels and umbrella that were provided.
Mechelle was great to work with, when booking,. With our check in info, she had provided us with contact info for the on-site manager, so when an alarm was beeping in the vacant adjacent unit, we knew who to call to resolve the problem.
The condo is just about a 10- minute drive from our favorite beach and convenient to all that Waikoloa Beach Resort area has to offer in the way of restaurants and shops. We didn't find the Foodland at Mauna Lani until our last day, but will shop there next trip.
We do hope to return soon!

We had a great time on our Hawaii vacation. The townhouse was everything it was advertised. It fit our needs perfectly. The location was perfect and the Waikoloa Resort had everything you could need or want right there. We took advantage of all the beach items stored in the closet and a wonderful time at A Bay. I would definitely recommend this townhome. Make sure to try the Lava Lava Beach Club, the sunsets are gorgeous.
