We had a great time! Great location, easy parking. Beds were comfortable and AC worked well. Wish the Kitchen was better equipped- no large pots or grilling spatula and pans were a bit scratched up. Condo staff were not very friendly but nice amenities in the complex.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at the Purcell's condo in Kamaole Sands Resort. The condo was clean and provided a great base for our daily excursions during our visit. It is walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The only complaint that we had was on our only visit to the resort's pool area, the hot tubs were not heating. Not sure if or when the issue was fixed, but all other interactions with the resort and its staff were excellent. This property was one leg of a multi-island bucket list family vacation. Mahalo for a wonderful stay!

The condo itself was super clean, spacious and worked perfectly for four adults. Great, central location that allowed us to literally see every corner of Maui! Nice and close to the beach, and the pool area was great too! Exactly as advertised and we would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The communication and check-in process was great. The beds were adequate. The kitchen is nice. It was convenient to have a washer and dryer. The pool area is way nicer than the pictures let on and the gym had a great variety of weights and machines. On the downside, both bathroom floors weren’t too clean as there was hair left on both floors. The beach equipment is pretty beat up too but it’s better than nothing. Overall good place and good location.

Quiet top floor in corner. Beautiful, spacious kitchen and master. Entire home is updated so tastefully. Has just about everything you'd need to cook for a family and to pack a picnic. Breezy and cool. We didn't have to run the a/c unless the trades weren't blowing. We found beach equipment in closet which was a nice bonus. Owners were responsive to our emails and questions.

This condo had everything we needed for our stay and I have absolutely nothing but good things to say! What you get for your money staying here is amazing! Swimming pool, 2 hot tubs, a children's wading pool, gym, many propane BBQs around the facility for your use. It is walking distance to beach, and the owners have chairs, coolers, towels, bougie boards and sand toys that you may borrow, so you don't have to pack those things or buy them when you are here. Woke and drank our coffee on the patio while gazing at the ocean! The condo has many ductless A/C units and ceiling fans throughout. There is so much shopping and food nearby, you could walk everywhere. Check in and check out were a breeze. Everyone at the facility was nice and happy to answer any questions we had. They even offered suggestions for things to do during our stay. We really felt like very welcomed guests! Will definitely be staying here again the next time Maui calls my name!!!

Kamaole Sands was very well located, and it was fabulous to be just across the road from Kamaole beaches I and II. The condo was clean and spacious with a lovely, well appointed kitchen. It was great to not hear any main road traffic noise and our beds were very comfortable. The water filter on the refrigerator was also appreciated.

The location is prime and in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops and local transportation. This is a nice sized condo for a small family. It also has 2 AC units which is helpful at night. Down side is upon our arrival I noticed ants in the bathroom and the kitchen but couldn't initially locate bug spray so we dealt with those for three days. I reached out to the owner to see if there was any bug spray at the location and finally able to locate some. The bedroom carpet needs a cleaning as there were dead bugs near some of the furniture and hinestly seemed dirty.

We stayed for a week in March 2022. The condo is extremely clean and well stocked with everything you need for your stay. The beds were comfortable and the open floor plan was great for the family.
The resort is beautiful and we enjoyed our nightly walks to the beach across the street to watch the sunset.
The location was fantastic, as we had booked a whale watching tour that left from the dock 2 minutes away, and we were close to other beaches for surfing and diving.
The hosts were timely with their communication and gave all the details needed for a quick check-in. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was great in so many ways- location (one block from the Kamahole Sands beach and park), space (newly renovated, clean and great layout with the loft), and we’ll stocked (chairs, coolers, boogie board). Close to shops in Kihei and Wailea. Spent time on the beach, and short drive or nice walk to many of the restaurants, Safeway and farmers market in Kihei, and easy to get to from the airport. Can’t wait to go back to Maui!

We had a relaxing time staying at this unit. The location was good. The beach was close to the property. You just have to cross the street. The view of sunset from the beach is amazing. There are quite a lot of people during the sunset time. The house has a booklet that describes various things to do, and places/restaurants to explore around. There is a $41.67 one time resort fee that you have to pay at the time of check-in. This covers for any stay till 30 days at this property.
There is no Expedia office on the property in pool area. It has been taken over by some other company. There is no free breakfast that is offered by that company that has replaced Expedia office. The pool is smaller that what it looks like in the photo. I was expecting it to be a quite big pool but it is not. Also the pool has a slope and you wont realize when it becomes 6ft deep. We didnt end up using the pool, as I had a toddler and didnt wanted to go in a 6ft deep pool.
The unit has one car parking spot. If you have more than one car then there are few visitor parking spots, but it is quite far to walk from this unit. You can check with the reception desk if they can provide a parking spot close to your unit. They might provide you if they have availability.
From patio you get a small glimpse of the ocean but not that great, since this unit is in very back of the property. It has a good view to the mountain where Haleakala crater is located.

Condo was as advertised and was beautifully remodeled. The location was perfect! The beach across the street, Kam III, had amazing snorkeling where we saw multiple turtles each time. The resort property was beautiful, safe, quiet and had a relaxing pool area. I would highly recommend this condo and look forward to staying here again.

We truly have enjoyed our stay. The location was great and the place offered everything you would need for cooking to sand toys to coolers. We had a bit of a problem cooling off the place when we arrived but the owner was wonderful in guiding us through it. Once we figured it out the air was perfect for the rest of our stay. Would come back again. We stayed with our three children ages ranging from 18-6 years old. Wonderful time had by all.

This is a lovely, updated condo -- 1 bedroom, 1 loft with its own bath, another bath, and queen sleep sofa. The kitchen is very well appointed and well equipped. On the lanai, if you look right you see the Pacific Ocean, if you look left, the mountains. The condo complex is beautiful. You are in an easy walk to beach, restaurants, shopping etc. An unforgettable experience. Mahalo.

My children walked into the condo for the first time and said “No way! Our beds are up here? The loft and spiral staircase were a big hit. The location is right next to a great beach and driving distance to many more. The kitchen is huge and well stocked with pots and pans. We have several family members with celiacs so I like to make most of our meals. The large kitchen island was nice so everyone could help out with the meal prep. We saved a ton on cost of food. It’s really not as expensive in the grocery store as we thought it would be - although milk products are pricey. The Percells sent us a list of local recommendations that turned out to be good tips. The concierge at the pool was also helpful to schedule a few of our outings. (Highly recommend booking most of your excursions before you come though. As of July, not everything had opened back up so most things were sold out when we tried to book the week we were here.)
It was great to have coolers to use on our day trip to Hana and gear for snorkeling and boarding on the beach. The WiFi was good and TVs with Netflix in every bedroom were appreciated when we needed some down time. We left the windows open at night and the breeze coming in felt like we were sleeping on the beach. There were a few times in the afternoons when temperatures were above 90 outside we needed to use the AC. The AC and room fans quickly cooled things down. I would definitely stay here again.

Kihei is a great place to stay on Maui, as it's easy to get to other area attractions from here. We appreciated having a full kitchen, balcony, and washer and dryer on site. This was our 2nd time staying at Kamole Sands. This condo was perfect. Honestly the best part was that it was cool when we returned from a day at the beach or pool. We brought our fire stick to watch movies at night and the kitchen was great for cooking breakfast and lunches. It was very clean.

Super well equipped remodeled Maui condo. Picked it for walking distance to great beach, newer/updated finishes and AC in main and loft level. Knocked the ball out of the park on all 3 counts. We had stayed in a similar condo 5 years ago but older and without AC in the loft. You don’t often need it in Maui, but when you do need it, it’s a life saver as these units all have lifts for the second bedroom which can get really warm. This one was split AC which I loved for the environmental friendliness too. We rarely used it, as the breezes were fantastic (all have screen door so you can get a great cross breeze going). This condo also has fantastic ceiling fans plus floor fans too.
Kitchen is superbly finished so you don’t have to eat out all the time. Love that there were good stock of spices and oil. Barbecues are easy access too.
Great supply of beach chairs and boogie boards as well as beach towels. Nice washer and dryer. Super close to some great location restaurants for families (Fred’s Mexican and Pizza)

What a great week in Maui! Beautiful condominium to come back to every evening! It was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again! The location in the complex was perfect- tucked away in the quiet upper corner with really no noise from either the pool area or the main road . Plenty of fans to keep you cool and enjoy the evening breezes. Loved it!
