We had a wonderful time at Helli's property. She answered all our questions leading up to and throughout our stay. The condo is in a great location and the unit is quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

The location is perfect. Easy access to beaches, shopping and restaurants. The property has great amenities and activities. The condo itself was clean and had everything we needed for a family vacation, including beach chairs and umbrellas. Great communication from the owner.

Amazing location with good partial ocean view and a good view of the West Maui Mountains. Stayed here for 9 nights. Good location close to everything you need. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the property for three weeks and the location is excellent. Kamaole III beach is directly across the road and there are numerous restaurants within walking distance.
The condo was fully stocked with all that was needed to facilitate our stay. The online profile is accurate.
The lanai is quite large and the beach chairs were very good.
We had very prompt communication with our host. The property has ample BBQ's and the pool area was easy to access.
The condo floor does need a good cleaning and we discussed this with our host. We expect this will be handled and we would stay at this property again.

Overall it was fine. the condo was well equipped. Location is good convenient to what we do. Two problems of note first the road in front of our condo was busy and noisy. Second cleaning could be better i.e. the touch points on the cupboard doors were greasy and sticky.

The TV in the bedroom needs to be replaced. Very old & difficult to get to what I want to see.
A/C in the bedroom is very very loud. Have to turn it off when go to bed.

We loved our stay. Specifically we appreciated how well stocked the unit was; the kitchen, beach towels, beach chairs & shade umbrella!
Very clean and exactly as described!
The TV reception and connection was our only issue but our friends that stayed in other units had the same problem. To be fair, we weren't there to watch TV but an evening movie would have been nice!

We have stayed at Kamaole Sands many times. Fantastic location and the pool area is amazing! We had a good time staying in this unit, as there are so many positives about this condo.
The deck is great, with a nice view and the condo is well stocked. The communication with Helli is great, as we did have a couple things that needed addressing, but they were fixed very quickly. She is an owner that cares.
The master bedroom has a comfy bed, although it is only a double bed. (Not an issue for us, as we are smaller people) We did find the fan in the bedroom a bit loud, but we let Helli know for future guests.
You just have to have it on a lower speed, but it would be nice to have the fan updated. Comfy hideabed too! The unit is not overly fancy, but it is reasonably priced because of this and has everything you need to have a good holiday.

The property was suitable, but after a long day of traveling we finally get to the property and the AC wasn't working. I'm not staying in a property in Hawaii with no AC. The front desk was very little help and not interested in doing anything for us. The owner was great and responsive quickly giving us a refund, but how much can you do remotely? We did not stay, got other accommodations on VERY short notice. Still waiting on a complete refund from Vrbo.

Kamaole Sands is beautiful! My condo was very comfortable and accessible to a lot of fun things to do! Love that the beach is right across the street! The pool and grounds here are breathtaking- overall my rating is 10 out of 10!! Can’t wait to come back!!

The Kamaole Sands condo was clean, comfortable, and had everything you needed in the kitchen and for the beach. It made our stay easy and fun. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the property and are looking forward to November when we get back. There were a few problems that we had with the unit. We were unable to use the main bathroom for three days until a plumber could be arranged to look at the toilet. The handy man that works for Maui condo and home new of the problem before we entered the unit on the Sunday. I alerted Maui condo and home of the problem on the Monday and did not get use of the toilet until Wednesday afternoon after a plumber could be arranged. That was disappointing. We did get an early arrival of roughly 30 minutes before our scheduled time to enter the condo. Upon entering there were towels draped over the dining room chairs and the dryer had wet beach towel with sand in the dryer. The sheet on the bed was still damp when we got into the unit. There was supposed to be a box of Kleenex provided. When we went out shopping we had to purchase that ourselves. We could not locate a dust pan in the unit and my wife felt there could have been smaller cooking pots for use in the unit. Other than that we were happy with the unit. I really liked the large lanai

This condo unit has not had any renovations done since it was built. Everything is dated and worn out. The complex is huge and only has one small pool. Many times there were no chairs available around the pool and it was never quite. This complex is very popular with families.

Registration was quick and easy. We enjoyed the pool and the grounds. Also, the beach being right across the street was very handy and a very nice beach. The BBQ's were great and were always very clean. This condo could use a little updating. Lighting in the Master Bath needs to be better (maybe just a bulb change). The sheets were very thin. We only had 2 washcloths, for two people that was very inconvenient. There were no pot holders that we could find so we purchased a couple and left them for the next guest. The floors were extremely dirty. They looked clean, but after only two hours of wearing no shoes, the bottoms of our feet were BLACK !!
I found a mop and proceeded to wet mop the entire condo. After that we had no problems with dirty feet. A good mopping once a week is all it took to keep it clean. Probably should be addressed with the cleaning people. We were going to try sleeping on the pullout couch so we could enjoy the fresh air coming in from the Lanai--but could not get the couch to open. Not sure if there is a trick to make that happen but we never did figure it out. We bought a blow up mattress and a pump which we left in the bedroom closet. The road noise got very loud at times with the locals using the street outside the Lanai.
Kamaole Sands is a nice facility which we would stay at again, but probably not in this condo.

The property location was great for our wants and needs. The only glitch was related to the Hawaii Covid documentation requirements for gaining entry into the unit (the property manager was easily reached by phone to talk us through the process).

What a great find! Helli is attentive and detailed. She made sure that we knew of all the rules and procedures in the weeks leading up to our trip. Her place worked perfectly for our family. It was clean and well stocked. We prefer to stay in Kihei, so we loved the location. We frequented Kam I and Kam II several times during our trip, and Wailea was easily accessible. We try to get to Maui once a year and would be happy to stay here again.

I stayed in this well equipped condo on my solo retreat to Maui. I loved the island feel of the furnishings and really felt like I was at home. Morning coffee on the large lanai was a great way to start the day.
Communication was excellent and I had no issues during my stay. I would easily book this unit again.
