This is the second time my husband, and I have stayed in this building. We absolutely love it. The best snorkeling we have done in Maui is right there. Walking distance to places to eat, grocery stores very short drive away.

We loved our stay here. The place was clean and came equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed sitting on the Lanai every morning having breakfast and admiring the view. The kitchen was fully equipped. Communication with host was great. The location is great. Close to a lot great things in Maui. The Laundry machine worked great for us. Highly recommended.

The condo was perfect for our needs, beautiful ocean view, easy beach access. Unfortunately, we booked our stay one day before the hurricane hit and two days before the fires. The owners were very communicative and helpful. They even refunded some of our money. Gave it to three families and putting the rest to the Maui Humane Society. Hopefully anyone reading this will help, as well. Can’t wait to go back, stay at this location and offer to help rebuild. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean and well organized. Beautiful view! Great location and peaceful. Shower splashes EVERYWHERE. Put down towels. Washer and dryer left clothes musty so we went to laundromat. Beds comfy. Grounds well kept. Great snorkeling on the beach. Good unit for a family of 3 or 4, just need more bathroom towels. Thanks for a beautiful stay! Mahalo!

We were pleased with the property. It does need a bit of maintenance. Like painting, replace bathroom cabinet & a thorough cleaning! I think the cleaners are just doing a surface job. Table & chairs on balcony dirty, under the sink cupboard & garbage pail in kitchen filthy.
Also people from the next building coming here to use pool & bbqs. Sometimes because of this couldn’t get a chair by pool to sit.

This property was located fantastically to the water/beach. My girls would go down to the beach first thing in the morning and hunt for “sea treasures”. We were blessed to see turtles on the beach and whales out in the ocean. This property is close to some amazing restaurants. Slept 4 people comfortably. Highly recommmend

First and foremost we enjoyed our stay. Check in was easy, and the owner did reply to our issues. These were: dirty towel left in bathroom, phones didn't work for the entire stay, damaged drawers in bathroom. Owner was made aware of all these issues, but only the dirty towel was corrected.

This was a great property with amazing views of the ocean. We were able to whale watch from the balcony and enjoy sunsets. Interior was a little old, but nothing awful. The owner responded quickly to my emails. Would stay again in the future.

The view was excellent. Furnishings were very dated and worn, but functional. Bathroom vanity needs to be replaced…almost impossible to open and close the drawers. Shower was updated, clean and large. Oven was dirty so unable to use. Only 3 coffee cups in the cabinet and one was chipped. Overall OK.

Our family of four loved our stay at the Royal Kahana. The condo was perfect with the sofa bed, and the queen blow up mattress was a huge plus so the kids didn’t have to share a bed. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, olive oil, salt and pepper, and honey. The pool was so warm and we loved BBQing in the evenings. The best part was the amazing view on the balcony. We watched whales jump at all times of the day. We would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect location. Close to Lahaina. Miso Phat Sushi and Maui Coffee 5 min walk from location. Great view of the ocean. The only thing is that it needs a serious refresh on design and appliances. Also, please upgrade toilet paper to at least a 2-ply.

Booked in advance for my wife and I, then decided since the place was roomy enough, we’d bring our 7 and 4 year old too. The place worked out quite well. I felt it was a great value considering the costs in Maui. It was warm during our late September stay and although it had a hard time keeping up, the AC was nice to have. Our kids loved the heated pool, right on the beach. The kids wanted to forgo pulling out the hide a bed and opted to sleep on the couch. There was plenty of extra bedding to make this happen. Thank you for letting us use your place, we had a great time.

We absolutely fell in love with this place. Perfect view and spacious condo. The mirrors in this place make it feel twice the size as well and situated so that you can see the ocean from every room in the house except for the bathroom. Great quiet location with plenty of convenient shops for anything you might need. We found the best coffee shop just a short walk across the street. The snorkeling is pretty great right off the beach and we saw dozens of huge turtles each day and swam with a good handful. We love it here and definitely will be coming back to this unit.

Maui was great. The condo we stayed at here at Royal Kahana was perfect. At first we thought we booked undersized but we were busy going for two weeks and really just served as a place to sleep. The view from the lanai is great and the ocean sounds are relaxing. Traffic not the best but the drives around the island offered so much to see that it made up for it. Everything needed is within walking distance or short drive. Beaches everywhere so never really needed to go to far from condo. Great relaxing experience! Staff was great and friendly the site is well maintained. The ocean is a few steps away. Perfect!!!!

This was the best condo we have ever rented. It was in a great location, the view was spectacular, was extremely clean, easy check in/out, and a great pool. This was the best stay on our 12 day Hawaiian trip. Our other rental in Oahu was complicated and not as good as the pictures stated, so we weren't expecting a lot with our Maui stay. We were so pleasantly surprised!! We are planning on another trip to Maui in a few years and will book it here again. I also am recommending this condo to friends. We loved our stay!!

Our condo was well situated and had a tremendous view! Comfortable furniture. Might recommend upgrading towels and bath mat. Also a summer weight comforter. We thoroughly enjoyed this unit. We had a little trouble with the TV controls but we did it old school and got up to increase volume and shut off and on.

Enjoyed our stay. For the positives the view is amazing. Enjoyed watching the whales from the balcony. Negatives: no trash bags were provided other than the 1 that was there when we arrived. We contacted the owners and they said they would have the cleaners drop off some. That never happened. We had some leakage from the condo above us which was not the owners fault but also had leakage from the refrigerator. For cleanliness the comforter appeared somewhat soiled and the rug in the family room looked like it could use a good cleaning. Overall the beauty of the area and the condo in general made it positive experience but the above mentioned issues keep me from giving it 5 stars.

We were wary about staying in a high rise but it was great! The view from the living room, bedroom and balcony was wonderful! Listening to the ocean as we drifted off, heavenly. Although on the 9th floor, we never had to wait long for one of the three elevators. We liked the way the condo was laid out. The pool is large, it never felt crowded and there are plenty of lounge chairs. We were a little disappointed there was no beach right in front of the building, but there are plenty of beaches close by.

We stayed at Christian's and Jeanne's condo during Christmas. It was a dream vacation staying at their place. Christian and Jeanne are very welcoming and cordial hosts. It was a pleasure renting from them, they were very gracious and easy to communicate with, they responded to our emails quickly, answering all our questions. They also provided us with a lot of information not only about the condo itself, but also about the entire area, which was very helpful. Regarding the condo... it is absolutely lovely! It was just perfect for our family of 4. The view is gorgeous, we enjoyed thoroughly sitting in the balcony, relaxing while having breakfast. The condo offered all the amenities we needed; it is very well equipped. We would've loved to have stayed longer; we had a beautiful experience. Getting the parking permit was very simple, at the office downstairs they were very welcoming and cordial when we arrived. They even helped our daughter fax some paperwork to a brand-new job that she was starting at that time. We will never forget out time in their condo!

We found the condo to be in great shape, in a convenient location, and very well equipped-including beach toys, umbrellas, and beach chairs. There was easy access to the beach, swimming pool, and communal BBQ’s. Easy walk to dining and local markets. The best place to see the sunset was from our own deck!

We enjoyed the stay so much we are already talking about coming back. This part of Maui was just beautiful. We loved how peaceful it was so relax at the condo but not far away from anything. There is a store close by and tons of restaurants.
The condo was equipped with everything you could possibly need. And the bed and pillows were by far the most comfortable from any rental we have had in the past. We hope to stay here again in the future!

My husband and I stayed here for a few days after a family vacation with our son and daughter and their families. We were comfortable and had a great. view which is the most important part! The only negative was the fact that we didn't have any linens for the pull out couch or the extra pillows which we needed for one night when our daughter stayed with us. Also, no dishwasher pods to run the dishwasher. Other than those small things we would stay here again.

A beautiful and convenient location that feels like you’re staying at “your condo” in Hawaii. It has everything you need (including AC, WiFi, and ample parking). Be sure to take your meals to the lanai to enjoy the ocean breeze and views (so many sea turtles).

We had a nice stay! We come annually for the past 12 years with the exception of 2020 and this was our first rental outside the Royal kahana reservations and owners were good at replying. There was a issue with cleaning crew/ later check in than expected but they were resolved to a reasonable satisfaction. Only complaint about the rental is old household goods (towels looked and felt old, limited storage containers for snacks, pots and pans shouldn't be cooked on as there's only one pan not all damaged so made cooking in our room not worth it). But we loved the view, listening to the waves all night and just enjoying all that Maui had to offer.

This unit is amazing! It was perfect for my solo 45th Birthday celebration vacation in Maui. The unit is beautiful and clean. The resort is well kept and staff is friendly. The location is ideal for avoiding big crowds but still having easy access to nearby tourist areas. The VIEWS from the unit are mind blowing! Saying the ocean views are "post card perfect" would be an understatement. This is one of best private condo rentals that I have ever used. I will most certainly stay here again. Thank you!

If you're saying as a couple, this place is 100% perfect and I highly recommend. Escape from the heat and enjoy the strong tradewinds from the upper floor of this condo unit. It directly faces the ocean with a great balcony for enjoying the sunset and viewing the islands of Lanai and Moloka'i in the distance.
There isn't much of a beach but it's still a very relaxing morning to sit on the pool chairs facing the water with a palm tree towering overheard.
The pool was very warm and wonderful to swim in. It's surrounded by many beautiful hawaiian flowers.
The rooms were all very clean with a modern kitchen and renovated shower.
I don't recommend this for four adults like we did, because the sofa bed is very uncomfortable for grown adults. Children would probably sleep perfectly well on the sofa bed though.

This condo was perfect for my family and I. Both hosts were super helpful and informative. I appreciate their detailed check-in information, as well as things to do around the area. It was also nice that they provided snorkels, fins, and other beach supplies! I just wish that the pull-out couch mattress was a bit more comfortable, but we didn't mind sleeping on the actual couch instead! If I am back in Maui, I would love to stay here again!

The immediate beachfront was closed, but we had access just a few feet down, not a big deal. The front desk staff was very friendly and the facility and pool were very clean. Royal Kahana was a great location and the condo had great views. Everything was as described and clean. The beach in front of the condo was closed due to potentially hazardous conditions and was sand bagged off. The tide was up so there weren't spots for beach chairs or anything, but there were beach spots in walking distance

My wife and I lived on Maui for over 20 years and recently moved away. We returned as "tourists" for vacation and chose this lovely condo on the Westside of Maui. We chose this condo mainly for the view which is fantastic. However, the view is not it's only selling point. It is a very comfortable, well appointed and tastefully decorated space with everything you need for an amazing Maui vacation. It is in a great location, has a wonderful pool area and is oceanfront. In addition the owners are great to work with and are very responsive. We had a small issue on our first night and the owners responded to our needs and communicated with us quickly. We would not hesitate to highly recommend this condo for your Maui vacation. If we could give it more than 5 stars, we would.
