Very quiet unit in a beautifully landscaped complex. Within walking distance to some great restaurants. Right across the road from the best snorkeling in Kihei! Great view of the ocean from the lanai. Very comfortable bed and the kitchen was well equipped. We really felt at home.

The first impression was very comfortable and homely. Lovely furniture. Quiet unit. Able to walk to restaurants. Short drive to supermarket. Easy access to freeways and snorkelling. The beach across the road also has snokelling. We really enjoyed our time there.

The condo was more than expected. Great view, beach umbrella & chairs, and snorkeling gear. Clean!!! The location is within walking distance of the beach and restaurants.

Honestly, the place is better than the pictures. Homey, clean, quiet and yes cool. We didn’t use the air conditioner at all as there was no need. Just open the windows and door when you are there and get a cross beeeze . The bed was comfy and the bedroom is more spacious than it looks in the pictures and stayed cool at night with the overhead fan on. Well stocked kitchen and new appliances which was great for us as we like to cook when away. Sounds weird to stay but ants can be a problem in some places in Maui but not in this place! Garbage chute in the hall was convenient as was the elevator. Pool was nice and bbqs by the pool were new. Away from the street noise but still close to everything. C and D block look much nicer than Aand B . Made use of the chairs and the umbrella and there is some snorkeling gear in the condo that could be used although we rented for 10 dollars at Auntie Annie’s and it was fitted well. Views were great from lanai . I figured out late in our stay that the chair reclines! It is a newer char than in the pictures and the bedding is newer as well. We often use vrbo or similar sites for travel and this one was definitely worth recommending and coming back to. Thanks for sharing your lovely home.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay here. The condo was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it was nice and quiet at night. The beach chairs, towels, coolers, and noodles were very much appreciated and useful for our beach days! Good location within walking distance to beaches and restaurants. We just wish we had more time to enjoy it!

As perfect of a place as we've ever rented - great location, close to beach, walk anywhere. Very comfortable space, impeccably clean, you'll never want to leave the balcony, incredible view, thoughtfully appointed. It has everything that you will need! One of the few places that is actually "better than advertised".

We were very impressed with the cleanliness, modern appliances, pool and location (beaches, several restaurants in walking distance). The coffee machine didn't work the first morning and was replaced the same day. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The ocean/sunset view from the lanai was special - we even saw some whales from the lanai!

Beautiful view in great, walkable Kihei location. This condo provides everything needed for some R&R. Five minute walk to the beach, beach chairs, cooler and beach towels. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Loved the bar height table & chairs on the lanai. Wish we had stayed longer.

We loved our stay at Maui. Facing the beach we could see the beautiful sunset everyday. Plus, every morning we could tell the mood of the ocean and plan our beach days. South Kihei was the best for us as we could go to Lahaina, Wailea or Haleakala without wasting too much time on the road. We're also in love with some of the food trucks down in Kihei. The unit itself is a residential like community area. We really liked it because returning home after dark with the christmas lights actually felt like home. We also used the towels and beach chairs provided in the unit. The unit was fully equipped although our only minor complaint was that the portable AC took a while to cool out the house. Especially because the bedroom itself didn't have great ventilation. Apart from that it really was a breezy stay and we highly recommend this option.

Loved this rental! It had everything that we needed. Being in Maui can be quite expensive so it was nice to be able to have at least one meal at home. The kitchen was very well stocked. There was a BBQ by the pool that we used one night, which was really nice. The patio had a couple of chairs and table, we ate breakfast out there every morning and enjoyed the beautiful view of the ocean. The location is perfect. It’s right on the beach and there are a ton of restaurants and stores within walking distance. But if you want to rent a car, there’s also free parking for one car, which was great.
My only complaint was that there was no AC in the bedroom, just a fan, so it got pretty hot at night. There is an AC unit in the living room and it was portable, but we didn’t want to move things around (and frankly it would have been a HUGE pain to lug it from the living room to the bedroom every night) so we just dealt with the heat at night.

Perfect location for a beach vacation. Nice sunset views over the ocean from the balcony. Check in was easy with clear instructions provided. Clean and well equipped with everything one might need in a home away from home.
We reported a refrigerator water filter that had to be replaced and it was taken care of by property management very promptly.
I would love to stay here again when in Maui next.

I honestly don’t know where to begin! This property, was absolutely fabulous. We ate our meals on the porch, soaking in the Hawaiian sun, and enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean. This place was so fully stocked, and comfortable, that we couldn’t think of one thing that wasn’t provided. Great beach gear, location, and communication. Amazingly CLEAN! I hope that you’ll let us visit again. We give this property 1,000 out of a 100!!! Mahalo, for such a wonderful stay.

This condo was perfect for my bf and I. The beach chairs, towels, coolers, and noodles were definitely a big plus! We did not see the snorkeling gear until after renting a set but they have it available for use. The condo literally had everything we needed. And yes, Vacasa had the wrong code on the email but it was resolved right away. Thanks so much!

What a wonderful stay we had in Maui! This condo was clean, well supplied, and in a great location. Super view from the balcony, yet tucked back away from the street so it was quiet and relaxing. The whole property is well maintained, and the staff at Kehei Akahi were very friendly & helpful. Only complaint, as others have mentioned, the air conditioning doesn’t get back to the bedroom, and it gets pretty warm back there. I understand you don’t want to encourage guests to smuggle in more than 2 people, but even just a small pull-out couch in the living room would be welcome. The short little love seat in there now isn’t going to sleep anyone. Otherwise we hope to return!

Easy walk to beach (even barefoot if snorkeling) and nearby shops/restaurants. Short drive to grocery store and additional dining options like food trucks. Kam 1/2 beaches have great snorkeling if conditions are good.
A few notes in addition to what's in listing:
- The beach chairs are awesome, have built-in cooler, book pocket, cup-holders. Umbrella can be screwed into sand and should be totally vertical to avoid wind flapping (and sunburn)
- The bedroom does get warm at night even with A/C and fans on, but not to point where you'd be sweating or anything.
- There are a lot of birds around, including roosters. Need to get to bed early since they start up around 4 or 5am.
- The bedroom is small, so watch your knees when squeezing between bed and furniture.
- The door entry code sent via property management was incorrect and we needed to call to get a correct code. The neighbor said this happened to other guests as well
- There were no tennis rackets. But there were some board games and deck of cards

The code given to me in email was incorrect… had to get a hold of Vacasa . Took some time for them to realize it was incorrect & to correct the problem. Next door neighbor seemed to think this was a constant problem!??? That was our only hiccup !!!! Great vacation and location for us :0)

My man and I had an incredible time here. The location was a nice walk away from the triangle—bars and restaurants—and just across the street from a stunning beach. We did have issues with the wifi, but the owners were communicative if we had any issues. Overall, I would recommend staying here 20x over! It is huge, gorgeous, well-kept, and in the perfect location!
