As we all know by now, most of Lahaina was destroyed in the August 2023 wildfires. Tragedy and confusion ensued, and in the aftermath I contacted property managers and old friends on the island to see if I could be of assistance. I was eventually put in touch with representatives of FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and they have located a displaced kama'aina that will be staying in my unit through August 2025. Although I don't know what's going to happen after that, I'm leaving my VRBO page open for updates as they come along. You can also contact me on my reservations page to ask any questions.
