We’ve been to Maui multiple times and this was the best condo we’ve ever stayed in. The property was wonderful and the owners are outstanding hosts. Communication is easy and they promptly respond and were always extremely helpful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed in #47. It was great. The condo had many wonderful items to use at the beach, including chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, fins, googles and snorkels. There were extra seasonings for cooking and detergent for laundry. They really did think of everything. The view is stunning and perfectly located by being just up the hill from public parking and a super beach area. I would recommend this condo to anyone.

This was the second time we stayed at this VRBO. It does live up to its description as a quiet, luxury place. We enjoyed looking for whales and watching the sunsets. The development has rules which ensure a tranquil setting. It worked great for us.

It looked amazing online and was honestly even better than I expected. Location couldn’t be better. Minutes drive to things while having your own space. Beautiful views, super comfortable place, including the beds. Ka’anapali beach is a short walk down the hill (although I didn’t walk back up!) and has amazing snorkeling. I don’t think you could avoid seeing fish or turtles if you tried. The owners were wonderfully responsive to an issue we had with neighbors leaving bright lights on at night while not present. It was addressed and resolved the next day. Phew! We were so happy with this place and our experience was really great. Maui sells itself, but it does matter where you stay. If the size and shape of this place fits the size and shape of your group, I can’t imagine you’d be disappointed. Great bathrooms too! Always important. We loved it. Thank you owners who I think are called Michael and Sarah!

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation rental. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We really enjoyed the views from the lanai. We were able to see several whales while enjoying breakfast and lunch. We also enjoyed the beach amenities. The location was perfect. This VRBO was the perfect home base to explore and enjoy Maui on our first visit to the island. It was clean, comfortable, convenient, and beautiful-everything it was advertised to be and then some. We especially enjoyed spending time on the lanai which had a spectacular westerly view of the ocean. We watched whales all day long and the sunsets over the island of Lana’i were events we awaited daily. The grounds were equally beautiful and we loved seeing the birds and small lizards (anoles?) all around.
We also loved being able to walk or drive to the beach at the bottom of the hill in just minutes. We appreciated and used provided amenities including binoculars for whale/bird watching, beach chairs(4), kick boards and coolers for our day trips around the island. I highly recommend this rental for a relaxing and trouble free stay while on Maui.

We stayed at this condo with our elderly mother. Access was easy for her. We spent most mornings and evenings on the lanai. Great view, protected from rain and sun. Peaceful. The location is close to activities but far enough away to enjoy the quiet and peace. No problems with condo while we were there. Would definitely recommend and plan to revisit when we make another visit.

We love the Plantation and have been many times but first time staying here. This condo was nice, thin wall so a few noisy mornings and evenings. Smaller than others but comfortable. We took offence with being monitored by a door camera and remote control on the AC. .. is that legal??

Beautiful 2BR condo was perfect for our needs and is exactly as advertised. Owners "house rules" easy to follow and all appliances worked great and unit is stocked to cook at home and with beach towels and gear. Property was quiet during our stay and the lanai is a perfect sunset location for some reading and a nice drink. Just mauka of the main road from Lahaina to Kapalua (and nicely away from all the bustle of Kaanapali beachfront) and Airport Beach is at the bottom of the hill and across the road. Would stay here again.

Location was good if you have a car. Definitely don’t recommend if you don’t plan on renting one. It would be a really long walk down a hill that has no side walk. Nice quiet place. When we first got in it had a bad smell like wet towels or something. The bathrooms were not the cleanest. I ended up wiping down and scrubbing the toilet, sink and even the cabinets because they had old splatter of who knows what. Even the tooth brush and cup holders were really gross. The rest of the condo seemed clean. Kitchen was stocked with lots of cooking utensils, pans, plates, cups etc. The washer and dryer was very convenient, they even have detergent provided. They have lots of beach equipment (chairs, umbrellas and boards) which we really appreciated.

Property was as-described and depicted HOWEVER… I don’t know if I’d have booked this property has the “house rules” been made available ahead of time and I would NOT consider this a family friendly rental (both in regards to the neighborhood and the condo itself). Location is great for those who want to be close to the resort area. Only complaint is that the tap water tasted like dirt and also made our clothes smell bad, but that was also likely because the washer was filthy around the rubber seal so I’m not sure how frequently it gets cleaned. Overall was a nice stay but if we were to make this trip all over again I think I’d opt for the resort experience.

This property wad everything we wanted in a vacation rental. The location is convenient to the many beaches and restaurants, yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts. It is peaceful. The unit is very clean and has a well equipped kitchen. The view of the sunsets are spectacular.

Everything is as described at this property. The bedrooms are very spacious with their own bathrooms. The kitchen and living room are are open which was nice when making meals. The kitchen is very well stocked with nice cooking utensils and appliances. We enjoyed breakfast and coffee on the lanai each morning. The lanai has breathtaking views that seems to change a little depending on clouds and sun. We saw rainbows every morning and spotted several whale spouts.
The condo is conveniently located and close to several beaches and shopping centers. You could walk but you’ll have to brave a busy street and walk up a rather big hill back. Doable, just not for everyone.
We spent several days at a variety of beaches in the area. We used the chairs, umbrellas and coolers which were all bonus.
Every morning we would walk around the condo grounds or in a neighboring community just up the hill. We did get a “citation” for talking outside the condo on one of our walks during quiet hours. We weren’t being loud but just be warned, the residents are very serious about quiet hours. It was appreciated that Michael reached out after we received the “citation” and made sure everything was fine.
Overall, we would definitely stay again.

The space was well equipped throughout, with everything we needed and more. From the high end finishes in the kitchen, the laundry supplies, extra garbage bags, bathroom and beach supplies, all we had to supply were the groceries. The owners were very responsive throughout the week if we had any questions. My parents were staying in another condo about a mile away, for about the same price. They stopped by and were very impressed with our space and the views. For not being right on the water, the views and access to the public beach and walking path (free parking if you have beach chairs) right down the road were the next best thing.

Walking distance to one of the best beaches on the island and minutes from Lahaina. Grounds of the property were really beautiful and well kept. No issues whatsoever.

Our family loved this property. The lanai felt like being in a tree house and we lacked for nothing in the kitchen or beach accessories. Super clean and comfortable beds, huge bathrooms, tropical breeze, and central AC made this a memorable stay. Pool was closed which was a little disappointing but not a deal breaker since we knew it was a small and simple compared to the resort experience. The property is exactly as listed and one we hope to visit again!

The condo was perfect for our needs. The top features for us were the ease of parking and the very short walk to the condo, and the view from the lanai. In this extremely congested area of West Maui, I don't think there is a place to stay that has easier access.

We had a wonderful time at this condo! Sarah and Michael were amazing hosts. The view was fantastic. Everything was so comfortable. The place was so clean and luxurious. It was wonderful to have some food item staples that made it so easy to be here with kids. The boogie boards were especially fun for the kids. The directions were so easy to follow and everything was labeled. It was a great location where we could walk down to the beach or drive to nearby black rock. Grateful for this lovely vacation spot. The Owners were awesome and very organized and provide all the information necessary prior to checking in. The WOW not only was this place perfect for the 4 of us. it was very private having two master suites. If felt like home being able to cook and do laundry and the location was just off the road so it was very quiet at night sitting on the lanai where we saw some amazing sunsets. We are defintely booking next year.

This place was stunning very close to everything lanai had great views of the ocean, calm environment very relaxing. Hosts were great even checked in during our stay. Only two complaints would be there are quite a few rules/requests to clean daily. We felt we had to clean for the cleaning crew. Also don't bother to use the pool or bring your children to the pool. The pool had so many rules like no toys, no music, no phones, and to keep quiet. It was to be treated like a library and not a pool. If we made any remote noise that was above a quiet tone a woman sunbathing would sit up shake her head and shush us. This happened repeatedly if we laughed or anything. It made us very uncomfortable and unwelcome. I thought the pool would be great for the non beach days but we only went once and refused to go back after our first experience. We would recommend to adults only or families with teenage children. This did not feel like a kid friendly environment.

Michael and Sarah's Property went above and beyond our expectations. Located at the beautiful estate of Ka'anapali Plantation, this rental home has a lot of space for 3 of us. The location of the property is very convenient, and is within 10 minutes driving distance to the fabulous Ka'anapali beach (Black Rock) and the snorkeler's favorite Kapalua beach, Whalers Village for shopping and various grocery stores and restaurants in the area. We loved the lanai the best as it has an amazing ocean view and is facing the lawn of the estate. Michael and Sarah have been very thoughtful and have prepared beach necessities for us (umbrellas, chairs, towels, boogie boards, sun screens, etc.). They are overall great hosts and are very effective in their communication. We would definitely love to visit back again! Thank you and Aloha!

We had a wonderful time on Maui! We came with another couple so the 2 master suites were perfect! The condo is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. The property is beautifully maintained and very quiet. It is close to the resort area and about 3 miles from Lahaina. Beach access is directly across the main road leading to the condo, with plenty of free parking. The views from the lanai are beautiful and you're able to watch spectacular sunsets every night! The owners were wonderful and very responsive to any questions you might have. We would definitely rent with them again.

This place was perfect for my family of 4. The home was fully stocked and comfortable. Parking was easy and spots were always available right outside the door. The beach was a short drive across the main road. The best part was the view. We woke up to a rainbow above the ocean and had dinner as we watched the sunset. My family and I are hoping to rent this home again in the winter to go on a whale watch. It was perfect in every way.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was extremely clean and very well taken care of. The location was convenient to restaurants and shopping, but more importantly is was a 2 min. drive to the beach. The condo was equipped with everything we needed and felt like home. The units are older, but this unit was just updated and felt almost new. There are a number of rules to follow, but this is what makes it a quiet and clean atmosphere. We were asked to run the A/C sparingly because of the expense. We tried to our best to keep it to a minimum, but we also wanted to be comfortable, as it was around 90 during our stay. All in all a wonderful trip and great experience! We would rent again.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The condo is very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, 2 comfortable king beds, 2 very nice bathrooms, and a beautiful lanai with an amazing view to the ocean. It is quiet and peaceful... close to beautiful beaches (to which you can walk or drive 1/4 mile and park) and all the shops and restaurants of Lahaina (just a few miles down the road), but set perfectly apart from the resort crowd. We are a family of four and everyone loved Kaanapali Plantation.

Words cannot describe how beautiful this meticulously clean condo is! This spacious condo with an open concept was very tastefully remodeled and decorated recently. We stayed with our adult kids for three weeks. The best part of every day, was waking up to the beautiful ocean views, and enjoying a cup of coffee on the quiet lanai.
The proximity to everything we wanted to see was perfect. Although not right on the ocean, it has a beautiful view of it from the lanai. Binoculars were provided so we could see every detail on the beach. It is a ten minute walk to Kaanapali Beach with free parking.
The kitchen is beautifully appointed with top of the line stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The supply of dishes, pots and pans, bowls and utensils was terrific. We were appreciative of the powerful blender which we used often to mix up frozen Pina Coladas. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient. The furniture was extremely comfortable. There is central AC, but the trade winds were very cooperative when we were there, and nothing beats a Hawaiian breeze!
The bedrooms with attached bathrooms makes this unit perfect for two couples. Each bedroom has hardwood floors and a very comfortable king sized bed with down pillows. The bathrooms are beautiful with glass shower doors and granite counters. Both bedrooms and the living room had ceiling fans, televisions with DVD.
After an eighteen hour journey from Detroit to the condo, we were very appreciative of the supplies that they graciously provided: paper products and soaps. The chest on the lanai and bedroom closet were filled with snorkel equipment, boogie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels and coolers.
The grounds are beautiful and are manicured to perfection. The pool area was never crowded and there were tons of beach chairs and loungers. There is a BBQ at the pool.
Sarah and Michael thought of every detail and were a pleasure to do business with and quickly answered any questions that we had. We had an extensive checklist in searching for a condo rental, and this one provided everything we were searching for. I would highly recommend this exquisite condo. This was our first VRBO experience, and we were fortunate that it was perfect in every way. We plan to come back in a few years, and we would stay at this condo again in a heartbeat.
