We loved everything about this condo and it was very comfortable. I’ve already reviewed this once and the only thing I would suggest, and this has nothing to do with the condo itself, is that the complex heat the pool. I also loved that there were two recliners in the living room! Kitchen was well stocked. The Ahualoa chocolate Mac nuts prompted me to go to the store in Honoka’a and get some to bring home even though I promised myself I wouldn’t buy any on this trip. That was a GREAT treat to leave in the condo. I would absolutely stay here again.

Kat was great and easy to communicate with. We even talked on the phone when I was making the reservation.This was a very lovely, quiet, and well-equipped condo set in beautiful grounds. The kitchen has everything you need--plenty of spices, dishes, pans, and small appliances. Also has lots of beach items like chairs, boards, umbrellas, etc. Kat's notebook has LOTS of information about her place and the area. Read it!It was so nice to have a place so convenient to many restaurants, shopping and beaches. A favorite beach was A-Bay just a couple of miles away by car. We did have a rental car, which allowed us to drive all over. Several places to visit-- Place of Refuge (a National Historic Park), Hapuna Beach, the little town of Hawi, Waipio Valley and the town of Honoka'a. Take a stroll through the Hilton Resort right next to the condo to see the dolphins. For groceries, drive up the road to Waikoloa Village. It's where the locals shop for more variety than the Market in Queen's Shopping mall. We will definitely go back and hopefully can rent Kat's place again.

Wonderful Stay!!! The condo is so spacious you feel relaxed the moment you walk in the door. The flooring is just beautiful. Bedrooms and bathrooms are large. Our favorite time of the day was having morning coffee on the upstairs lanai sitting on the comfortable furniture. The pools are landscaped beautifully. Location is fantastic- quiet area of the resort, close to shops, restaurants and the club house. Kristi was a very nice host.

The property location was perfect! Super close to the pool and tennis courts. The property itself could use a little TLC as it had handles for drawers missing, some of the latches for the dresser were loose and the refrigerator just did not work. While Cindy was readily available to help answer questions, it didn’t take away from the fact that we nearly lost all the food we purchased at Costco because we stored it in the fridge that was broken at 63 degrees. I had left dairy, eggs and meat in there for 3 hours and my husband just happened to grab a drink and saw the food was not as cool as it should be. Anyway, we promptly called Cindy and she shared the fridge was acting up and that we could use hers in the garage. Anyway, it was all was fine but the refrigerator along with the guest bathroom upstairs not draining well kind of left an ok experience for us.

We had one operational issue with air conditioner but it was quickly resolved. The owners communicated and responded quickly and were thoughtful and caring in assuring a comfortable stay. Their corner unit felt private and easily accesses the main path to walk the resorts/ocean (Queens market on farther end but accessible for longer walk if desired) We enjoyed the adult pool and spa just a few mins away. Thank you for your hospitality! We would definitely stay again. (5 night stay)

Great condo except for a very minor glitch and one “comfort” concern. The host gave very thorough and complete directions and instructions about the condo. The unit was very clean and well furnished. The kitchen was very well equipped. There were even step stools which my wife, a little “shortish”, used to hop into bed. The minor glitch was lack of shower soap and shampoo, which we picked up the next at the nearby market. The comfort issue involved the AC which is set to go no lower than 76. With the higher humidity the condo felt a little uncomfortable, especially upstairs and at night. Got by with ceiling and portable fans, and maybe it was because we are all from the SF Bay Area which is more temperate and drier?

We had an excellent stay at this property. The home was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made check-in simple. We especially loved that the BBQ’s and pool access were a few steps from our condo and shopping/stores/restaurants is only a few minutes drive. Perfect condo for the 7 of us. The kitchen is well stocked with kitchenware and spices. They have a Keurig and coffee maker. The living room was spacious with a large smart TV with Netflix and Disney. The beds were all comfortable and having 2.5 bathrooms works well if you have a lot of people. The showers were stocked as well. They even have a closet with amenities like beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards and snorkel equipment. The condo is right across from the pool which was lovely. The location is perfect in the village and easy drives to restaurants and shopping. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. There were beautiful lovebirds and yellow finches and we even saw several mongooses and wild goats. It was a fabulous trip.

We recommend this condo. Kitchen well equipped, washer/dryer. Hair dryer in the bathroom. Comfortable beds. We have stayed at this location on other Big Island vacations, first time in a 2b/2b. Would stay again if traveling back to the island. Only complaint, and this is definitely personal preference, is the pillows were too hard for our liking but this is only personal preference. Owner was great with communication. We had a lovely trip with our granddaughter, her first time to Hawaii. Thanks!!

We had a great stay! The unit is comfortable and clean. Beds were comfortable, AC worked well in most areas, but downstairs bedroom didn’t cool off quite as well. The unit does need some repairs and updates, but this is likely reflected in the lower cost as compared to other units in the complex. Adjust your expectations accordingly and you’ll be happy. In-unit laundry, beach equipment were useful (though some beach chairs were broken). Great location near one of the two pools. Overall we were pleased and would rent again.

The condo was exceptionally clean. There was lots of snorkel gear, beach gear, and towels. The layout was spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of dishes, skillets, pans, etc for cooking.
