Our family of four loved this cozy condo in the heart of the Kohala coast. Our daughters (9 and 12) especially loved the pool, although children 12 and under are not allowed in the hot tub ($250 fine), which was a bummer for our younger daughter. Loved the condo's cleanliness, lanai with beautiful views, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, and proximity (walking!) to the Kings' Shops and Queens Marketplace. The Queens' Marketplace has an amazing food court with yummy acai bowls and fresh salads/bowls that quickly became our favorites. Our favorite beaches were within a short driving distance. Be aware that the condo had beach chairs, but we had to rent an umbrella and cooler, which was easily done at the Kings' Shops (do this at the start of your trip as each item is only $35 per week to rent versus $15 per day). Definitely looking forward to returning someday...there is so much to see and do on the Big Island! Mahalo!

The location is perfect. The condo itself is clean, well equipped, comfy beds. I got locked out twice (my fault!) and management was quick to answer and assist. They were accommodating to extend our stay.

Our stay in Waikaloa was so amazing thanks to the Fairway Villa! It was so beautiful here, and a great jumping point for our trips to Captain Cook, Kona, Hilo, & Hawi. I absolutely loved this condo! It was bright, airy, and exactly as described, with tropical touches, high ceilings, and a lovely lanai overlooking the golf course and palm trees. I could even see the sunrise from the master bedroom! It was perfect for our family of 4, which includes 2 older adult-sized teenagers, as we all had a lot of space to spread out, which I loved. We loved the pool, especially at night and it was close to shops & OBISIC shave ice - best in HI! The kitchen had everything we needed for meals, and I loved having a laundry. On beach days, there were beach chairs and plenty of beach towels for us all, and an amazing backpack cooler that I have since ordered for myself after getting home! Being on the second floor, we got great breezes when they were flowing. The position of the condo allowed the breezes to flow into the kitchen window and through the whole unit, cooling it all down in the late afternoons/evenings, which was so helpful when there was an issue with the A/C. The property manager/owner were so wonderful & responsive to that issue. It was suggested at one point that they could find another unit, but I did not want to leave - I loved this condo & we got it all worked out! Also her suggestion to try Ken's Diner in Hilo was spot on - best meal of our trip! Would stay here again!

Incredibly smooth process. Easy to find. Checkin was a breeze. Unit is very well appointed with everything needed. We cooked every meal there and only brought our groceries. Lanai is beautiful, rooms are big, beds are comfy. The kids loved the pool. The people are super nice. Will stay again.

We had a beautiful holiday at H21!
The location of the complex is perfect, and great value as other reviews mentioned.
We experienced incredible generosity from Barb and Allyson when our flight home was cancelled, and then subsequently experienced a major medical event requiring ambulance and hospitalization.
We would happily rent this unit again for another holiday in the sun,
MINUS a medical emergency.

Everything was as advertised. The unit is very well equipped, spacious and clean. The location is excellent, with the beach, shops, restaurants etc all within easy walking distance. The lanai has great views over the manicured golf course and the volcanoes and benefits from a cooling breeze. A highlight for us was how quiet and peaceful the whole place was. Wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Wonderful family vacation, and Barb’s place is in a perfect spot to enjoy this fabulous island. She was always quick to respond to any question. She has also added little touches that really make a difference- beach chairs, beach towels, cooler backpack with lots of ice packs, travel guides and books and more. We hope to be back!

This condo is nicely located between the Kings and Queens market. Close to the beach. It is fully equipped to have nice dinners and BBQ or spend the day at the pool. The owner and concierge where great at getting back to you when your called or text. I highly recommend it.

The accommodations were fabulous!
The pool was invigorating and we met a lovely family from England.
The shops were within walking distance. The lava hike trail was amazing!
The tv/remotes were challenging, good thing my granddaughter was there to help us navigate them!

The unit is located in the Fairway Villas of Waikoloa. The layout was nice and spacious and the pictures accurately represented the property. The villas were centrally located and it was a short walk to the community pool and an easy walk to the beach. Shopping and restaurants were nearby and there was no shortage of cooking utensils. This was even on of the few rentals that actually had spices in the cupboard. A+ on that. In addition, there was a welcome basket of goodies to help make our stay even more enjoyable. Kudos to the management/owners. If there was one downside, it would be that the ceiling fan in the living room needs to be replaced. We have the same fan (~20 years old) in our house and this one has obviously seen better days.
Would we stay here again? Absolutely! This is a strong contender if you are looking to stay on the Big Island.

What a lovely condo. Equipped with just about anything you would need. We loved looking out over the golf course from the Lanai.
Queens Market and Kings Shops are easy walking distance.
We had a great vacation and would not hesitate to book this unit again in the future.

This is a very nice property just as it says “fairway Villas”. It is amazingly within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, groceries and activities within the Wailkoloa Beach resort. We enjoyed watching to golfers from the lanai and beach walks every morning and evening. Although we loved the evening breeze we quickly learned that the golf course maintenance starts very early so if we wanted to sleep a bit later than 4 am then sleep with the air conditioning on and windows closed. The property is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Loved the ice packs in the freezer all ready to keep our packed lunch and drinks cold for a full day of exploring. The hardest part of the stay was remembering to take our reusable bags with us when we walked to the market - by the middle of the week we discovered that hanging them on the doorknob was the best solution - FYI. All in all this is a beautiful condo in a wonderful location.

I loved this condo! Barbara has decorated it beautifully; it has a well-appointed kitchen, very comfortable furniture and everything you need to enjoy the beach. I was pleasantly surprised by the peace and quite of this condo complex and how much there is to see and do within walking distance, including World-class "A" Beach, as well as several amazing beaches just a short drive down the road. Lots of shopping and great restaurants round out the experience, and the sunsets and sunny weather are incredible!
I also love the big soaking bathtub--hard to find in rentals. It is a perfect place for folks of all ages who enjoy the fine resort experience, and so many close options for fun things to do. I found Barbara to very helpful with my questions/concerns and I definitely recommend this condo to people who simply want to relax or for those with active lifestyles. There is a great workout room and the infinity pool and hot tub close by make it easy to exercise or pamper yourself. AND this vacation condo is Very reasonably priced for the area--I totally recommend!

Barbara's condo was perfectly located, walking distance to the Queen's Market and the King's Shops. The lanai is lovely and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything that one would need to cook a big meal. Very spacious sized condo with easy parking right out front with easy elevator access from parking lot to the condo floor.

We very much enjoyed staying at Barbara's condo. The photos are exactly what you get - a well appointed and clean landing place to hang out between adventures.
Things to know before you go:
- Plenty of towels and dishes for the family. TV's in each room, but they are a little complicated to navigate. Beach chairs, umbrella, and toys provided to borrow. A variety of spices available in the kitchen. Very clean grounds and pool area.
- Close to shops. Please note - these are mostly brand name shops (i.e., Tiffany's, Tommy Bahama, etc.). This area is home to the nicest beaches on the coast, and the top resorts (Four Seasons, Fairmont, Hilton Grand, etc.). The shops appear to cater to that clientele. Additionally, there is an "Island Gourmet" store (an ABC Company) in the Queens' Marketplace, however, it is very pricey. The nearest grocery store is about 15 minutes away in Waikoloa Village. Stop in Kona for your groceries at Costco or Walmart before heading to the condo.
- The beds are nice, but not very comfortable. The sheets are soft, but I would never choose microfiber fabric on a tropical location - too hot. ;)
All in all, we appreciated our time at this location and thankful to Barbara for sharing her home-away-from-home with us.

Most of the communication was with the owner. The Fairway Villas are perfectly located to travel the Big Island with amenities that most will appreciate. The only limitation to this visit was some needed repair work, which will occur within the next few weeks. Thereafter the condo will be in very good condition and great place to stay.

Barb’s condo is as described in the listing. We had all the kitchen implements and beach equipment that we needed. Barb does a great job in communicating - she checked in with us after we arrived.
Condo is on a lovely fairway and we enjoyed watching the wildlife - geese, turkeys & other birds. Complex is quiet, well-landscaped and people are friendly - lots of owners staying for a month or more. We usually stay on Maui, but enjoyed the slower pace of the Kohala coast. We will be back.

Really enjoyed Barb’s condo. Great location in Waikoloa - walking distance to all of the shops. Pool area was an easy walk and lovely. We liked going in the evening when it was less busy and you could see the stars. 10-15 minute drive to some of the best beaches. Condo had everything we needed—loved having the beach chairs and extra towels and a comfy bed.

Property totally met our needs, was close to shops, and Barbara was quick to answer our questions and concerns. Elevators for any family members that can’t do stairs. Plenty of beach gear. Would totally stay again.
