We enjoyed our stay greatly and decided when we come back we're going to try and book this exact property. Was perfect for two ladies having a 3 day stay. We didn't cook but did use the washer and dryer using the soap provided. Used the sink to wash cups and such. The plates and bowls were abundant.

Wow- Hidden gem. It is perfect, my husband and I really settled in here for the 10 days of our trip and loved it. The bed is extremely comfortable and it is cool enough in the bedroom- we stayed in May! We slept very well! It’s not extremely modern but at this price point, how could you expect that? It is beautiful. This place is in a perfect location- the balcony is charming, the high top is wonderful, chairs are comfortable and the view-Wow! We loved getting fresh poke from foodland and enjoying the view on the balcony! You can walk to foodland! And Kihei caffe and the open air markets- it’s all a 5-10 min walk, perfect!!! Also there is everything possible to use during your stay- beach towels, awesome Tommy Bahama beach chairs that you wear like backpacks, sand buckets, boogie boards, coolers! You usually pay a rental fee for these things at a hotel! When you walk out of your room, there’s a staircase right across from it that leads right out across Maui Vista to the cross walk! Also elevators. Room’s in a perfect location! Not to mention the washer and the dryer were convenient, we didn’t have to pack as much! Everything was so clean with plenty of sheets and towels! There is also tons of closet space! When you walk in the door, the bedroom is on your right, the bathroom is in front of the door and to the left is the lanai, living room and kitchen. Check in was easy- called security after hours. Check out is expected by cleaning people to be on the dot. We love this place

My husband and I hope to find ourselves renting this so comfortable condo again! We loved staying here. We were comfortable! And such a gorgeous view of the ocean from the living room! We had a very nice time either at C. Young beach or spending time reading and soaking at a pool in the complex. We made our own simple meals but breakfasted at the nearby fabulous Kehei Cafe. We chose not to rent a car in Kehei, so we walked to Foodland and packed our stuff back to the condo . We took the stairs mostly over riding the elevator. Call us crazy but we got over and above the daily exercise we had been missing while teaching school during the past school year. We are 75 and 68 years old. Our stay in Kehei allowed us to be youthful for a couple of weeks and relish healthful living in paradise. Just what the doctor ordered!!!!

The condo is in a great location and close to shops and the beach. Only thing we didn't like was the back bedroom stayed hot. There's a small ac in there and fan but didn't help. My husband and I ended up sleeping on the pull out couch where the window ac was. The couch/bed was comfortable. I would suggest staying at this location.

Location is great in downtown Kihei, but the condo needs updating and new furniture. Amenities inside are a bit lacking as well. No water filtration, not a lot of flatware, etc.

We spent five nights at this property to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary. We really enjoyed our stay. The property is within walking distance of many restaurants and across the street from the beach. Even when you needed to drive, the central location makes getting to any part of the island easy.

We celebrated our honeymoon here and it was pretty good! The property could really use a deep clean, and a bug bomb. We ran into a few bug issues but nothing horrible. There is no AC in the bedroom, but the fan works pretty well. And the window AC unit does a good job of cooling down the condo.
The positive:
The view is absolutely unbeatable. It is so beautiful. The location is also perfect. It's in walking distance to a few beaches and quite a few restaurants and shopping. It was also fully equipped with what we needed to have a great time on the beach. Coolers, body boards, chairs an umbrella, and even snorkel gear.
This was perfect for our humble honeymoon, I'd recommend it!

Overall it was a great location. The property has the most beautiful view and has the perfect location.
The property desperately needs a deep clean. I think the resort simply has one lady who comes in and does a quick surface clean of counters, and washes the linens before the next guests arrive. We also experienced an infestation of cockroaches in the kitchen while we stayed. We alerted the owners and they responded right away and had maintenance come and put traps down for them.
The unit comes with wonderful beach supplies and coolers for day long adventures! They really have everything you could need! Once again the location of this place was excellent and the view of the ocean was wonderful!

We had a great 3 weeks at the Maui Vista condo. The location is awesome. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the best beach on Maui, Charlie Young Beach! The condo has updated kitchen and bath. Kitchen supplies and furniture could use updates. Washer and dryer inside unit was very convenient. Lots of great equipment for the beach. Wifi isn't the fastest. No AC in the bedroom, but has fan. Beautiful sunset view from the balcony. This condo has the best view in the complex! The grounds are well maintained and the pool, not big but nicely heated. Overall, we had a great time!

Overall it is a nice and spacious condo and we enjoyed our stay. The place is relatively well stocked for cooking and the like and in a pretty good location. Only real issues with the place were extremely slow wifi and a poor shower design that caused lots of water to go on the floor despite our best efforts.

After finally getting into my room it was a decent stay. I had no clue that I had to call and talk to booking place and send my proof that I had passed my Covid test. Other then that the room could use and updated AC system that actually cooled the bedroom down.

The location was great....BUT I had to clean the kitchen before using it. Buttons on stove were so grimy with embedded dirt! I think the cleaners quickly wipe it without deep clean. Bed, elastic was gone on fitted sheet
& bed was very uncomfortable. We had one chair on lanai. The curtains were stained, along with lampshades so full of dust. Stayed for three weeks & enjoyed after my deep clean! Big plus, was location & view.

We came here for 4 days and enjoyed our stay in this wonderful condo. The view from the laina was extra ordinary and the distance to the beach is very short. The whole flat was equipt very well (beachequipment, kitchen).
We also enjoyed the whole area and love the older securityman.
We recommend this condo to all visitors of wonderful Maui. If we come back we would rent the condo again.

We spent 9 days in October staying at this condo, and loved everything about it. Kihei is centrally located and close to everything, with plenty of grocery/restaurant options nearby. The beach across the street is also very nice with some of the best sand on the island. The condo is well equipped with everything you need in kitchen. Having laundry in unit is super convenient. Will definitely consider staying here again next time we come back to Maui.

We enjoyed staying in this Maui Vista condo. Wonderful view of the ocean from the lanai was the highlight of our visit there. I am unable to walk very far because of a bad foot but the complex was so close (across the street) to the Charlie Young beach that it was an easy walk for me. The condo complex is the closest to the street so there is a lot of traffic noise but we liked being in building 1 for the ease of parking and closeness of the elevator to our unit.
Maui Vista is close to everything in Kihei. We shop at Foodland when we come to Kihei, which is just down the street from the condo. Kam 1 beach is also just a block away. We recommend Paia Fish Market for casual dining and great Mahi Mahi closeby.
The condo is small but comfortable for two. We had a couple of issues but the owner quickly responded and was very gracious.
The bed was very comfortable. Beach chairs, umbrella, ice chests and lots of beach towels were provided, which was nice as we spend most our days at different beaches.
The room air conditioner in the window going out to the lanai was quite noisy so we didn't use it much. There was always a nice cross breeze going through from the bedroom to the lanai.
We liked the beachy furnishings in the living room.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and loved the location!

A wonderful condo complex located 100 yards from Charles Young beach.
The unit I rented was very nicely furnished plus a great bedroom complete
with a great comfortable bed.
There was a closet full of beach toys, Chairs, Snorkel gear, coolers, boggie
boards etc. No need to buy anything for your beach outings.
The beaches are not crowed but offer perfect swimming and snorkeling.
Three large supermarkets located close by plus 2 drug stores. Great resturants
and shops also very conveniently located in the neighborhood.
Just a marvelous place to enjoy a relaxing vacation in paradise.

My husband and I enjoyed this condo for nine days while on a three week trip to Hawaii. The place was perfect for us with just a few flaws. I'll name them first and get them out of the way.
#1 The shower leaks when you're using it and there seems to be no getting around it. It lightly floods the bathroom floor. I hope to voice this concern so Rommel doesn't end up with damage to the tile. It is too pretty to lose.
#2 The a/c is quite loud. As both my husband and I have hearing deficits they were exacerbated by sitting next to it to watch T.V. Fortunately we only watched the tube a few evenings after the hottest part of the day had passed so we'd turn off the air and open the slider for a nice evening breeze. So not a real big deal for us.
The assets of this condo far surpassed those two setbacks. The furniture was all very comfy including the bed (which are sometimes pretty lame). We slept like babies! There were plenty of dishware, glassware, etc. in the kitchen and towels in the closet.
Charley Young Beach was beautiful to watch the sunset or from our lanai was also nice. Sitting out there at the end of the day with a cool drink after shopping or sight-seeing was so relaxing.
The location was perfect as it was close enough to get to everything in Kihei in minutes yet far enough to be quiet at night. Also a small enough island to get to other cities in less than an hour. With the exception of Hana! Another beautiful place to see. We chose to let a pro do the driving so we could sit back, relax, and enjoy the view.
We enjoyed the benefits of this condo far too much to let the two set-backs stop us from staying again. The place was nice and safe with good accommodations. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice cozy getaway on Maui for vacation.

Condo is conveniently located in Kihei and right across the street from Charley Young Beach--one of my favorites! The property grounds are meticulously maintained and their is security on the premises all the time and their presence is very evident, but not intrusive. The condo is cute and comfortable and their is air-conditioning available, but I didn't use it. Well-stocked kitchen and bath and the unit is super clean. The only negative that prevented a 5-star review is that the bedroom backs up to the walkway for the entire floor and late arrivals made a lot of noise waking me up a few times. This is no reflection on the property because ALL units have this issue. Other than this, which was very minor all around, it was a great experience!

This is a good location with a very nice beach across the street and a view of the ocean. The condo was clean but in need of repairs. The bedroom windows would barely open, the sliding glass door was very hard and noisy to open, the screen door has tape holding the handle on, and the lanai table is very weathered. The bed frame corners are wood and very easy to bump into when walking around the bed. Beach towels on these corners worked well. The furniture is comfortable and clean. Overall it was very nice and a well equipped with beach towels, chairs, ice chests, umbrellas, and chairs. Very convenient to restaurants and groceries

I love staying in condos in the Hawaiian Islands and have done so for years. This was the first time I was not really satisfied with the condo. The bed had two layers of foam on it, to make it more firm, but it caused me to slowly fall out of bed during the first night. After removing one of the form pads, my sister I slept better, but had to reassemble it the last morning. Most condos have left over condiments like ketchup and mustard and even butter. Often, it is sauces left from previous guests. This place had salt and pepper, steak seasoning and that was about it. Whatever I left, was removed by the cleaning staff. However, the kitchen was very clean. The exhaust vent in the bathroom was filled with dust and there was mold on the floor from the shower. The shower has just a half glass door and the shower head shoots out onto the bathroom floor, I think that is why it was moldy. Really liked using the boogie board and the beach chairs and umbrella!! Great views from the Lanai (patio) and easy walking to the store or a coffee shop from our location. The beach is directly across from our place, so it was easy access. The location was easy to find and the code for the door ensured that we never got locked out. Very nice owner and he said he will address the mattress issue with the management company, so it may be already replaced!

Why?
Upon our arrival we had incorrect information from the management company which got us stuck outside for a bit. Yes even phone numbers.... which made it extra difficult to find the proper 1-800 after hours as we arrived at 11pm. I did manage to text the owners themselves and my fiance found an after hour number that finally got us inside.
Not too late after, we received a concerned text from the owners trying to rectify the situation for us. We were a little annoyed but we could tell they cared so no big deal.
Snaffu aside, the VIEW! HOLY COW THE VIEW! Building 1 is awesome for it's close proximity to the beach but wow, the view tho!
The rental was otherwise, very clean, well maintained, well cared for even down to the guest book that made you feel part of the rental ohana! haha
The A/C was amazing and kept us super cool all night.
The bathroom was very nice as well and we appreciated the modern touch.
I loved the lanai and used it every day! It was sooooo enjoyable to have a comfy and clean place to sit and enjoy the morning AND the gorgeous sunset.
Finally the price... folks.... We come to Maui 3-4 times a year and stay at Maui Vista every time and this place is our favorite! PERIOD! This is by far the best value ($95 at the time of the rental) per night.
Anyways, we won't make this longer as it doesn't require it. If you are a couple looking for a sweet sweet condo then this is it for you! You'll have to fight us for it tho! ;)

We loved our stay at this condo! The perfect location and beautiful view were the highlights. Great bed in the bedroom, and the sofa bed was good too. Very nice bathroom, beautiful shower, and the kitchen was fairly well stocked. Great to have beach chairs and ice chests and beach towels. There were lots of bath towels, we could have used a couple more beach towels.
I will definitely stay here again if I make it back to Kihei in the future.

Overall really enjoyed our stay at the condo. The condo is exactly as described in the narrative and photos. If you want beach time this is the place for you!
Only a of couple of cosmetic enhancements would give this 5 stars. We had minor issues with the toilet (not enough to report or raise concern) and the door to the lanai needs a little grease. We would absolutely stay here again. Owner is so easy to deal with. Condo was very clean and has everything you need and more. Thanks for a great stay!

I was extremely skeptical when I saw the price for this condo, but didn't want to spend a ton of money on where we stayed. I relied on the reviews...so wanted to be sure I left one myself! My boyfriend and I recently visited Kihei for our vist trip to Maui. This condo was PERFECT. If you have any hesitations - do not wait to book this unit! The location is prime. We are so glad we booked in Kihei after exploring the island. Perfect beach town, you can walk to restaurants, coffee shops, cute shops, grocery store & many beaches. BUT - you are away from the hoards of people & hotel after hotel (like in Lahaina) - not our thing. It was also a close drive to Wailea so you could go to one of Maui's nicests beaches (less than 10 min drive).
The condo was clean, bed comfortable, view fantastic. Amenities were all there - kitchen loaded with what we needed, bathroom has a hair dryer!! Don't pack one! And unit has an iron too.
Linens and beach towels were sufficient. Beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella & cooler - items we used daily. Also having in-unit laundry was a life saver. We used this more than we thought we would.
Overall...book it. Seriously....do not hesitate - AT ALL! You will love it!!!
I would say it's perfect for a couple, or a family of 4. It's a little tight quarters with 1 bathroom if you have more than 2 adults (in my opinion). Hope you love it as much as we did!!!
Few fave Kihei stops: Kiehi Caffe, Paia Fish Market, Lava Java, Sansei Sushi, Foodmart (sign up for savings club card = major savings for your visit!), Maui Tacos & the ABC near the condo is amazing one stop shop.
Two more - shop at Walmart on the island. Save pounds in your suitcase & buy suntan lotion, bath stuff, here. Not any more expensive than at home. And if you have a Costco card - THE place for gas. Serious savings at the pump!

My husband and I stayed for 12 days and the condo was perfect for what we needed. It is centrally located in Kihei; we were a mile away from Foodland to get groceries and lava java (or Starbucks) and a mile or so north of the nearest ABC Store, Maui Tacos and other restaurants. Surf lessons were down the street and the beach was across the street!
We wanted a vacation to just relax and not stress about sightseeing! Having been to Maui numerous times, we haven't been to Charlie Young Beach. It is now one of our favorite places to go. When it was raining and windy elsewhere, we would go back to the condo, park the car and walk across the street to bliss. There was always a sea turtle to find while snorkeling and a whale to watch while sitting on the beach. We even began to recognize and chat with other families from the condo complex. Makes it hard to go and / or stay anywhere else.
The building felt very secure, the front desk and security staff were very friendly. The keyless entry into the condo was awesome - no chance of losing keys, the kitchen was well stocked, and we used the beach chairs and boogie boards everyday!
Rommel was great to deal with. He was very quick to respond and ensured that we had a good trip and stay once we got home.

We had a great time! The condo is in a great location. Lots of beautiful beaches along the strip. It was really awesome to have all the extra beach stuff in the closet.. Chairs, umbrella, coolers, beach towels. It was so nice and very comfortable! We would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others!
