Welcome to a gem in this slice of paradise. When you walk into E204 you are pulled to the full front lanai which sits right above the sparkling ocean and luxurious soft sand beach. A sweeping 180 degree view of the West Maui Mountains to the islands of Lanai, Kahoolawe and Molokini greets you. In whale season (November-Mid April) you have a front row seat to watch mothers and their nursing babies who often come in close to flap their majestic tails and frolic.
Views of the sea and sunsets are unparalleled. Watch as the orange sun melts into the blue water. Then be astounded by the after wash which frequently paints the sky every color of the rainbow.
One of the best snorkeling reefs on South Maui is steps away directly in front of the condo. Often referred to as “Turtle Town,” this reef sports large numbers of turtles and their babies sleeping tucked into the reef and swimming languorously in the deep blue water. Sometimes the turtles can be seen from our lanai as they surf the waves in the glittering sea. An abundant array of colorful fish also inhabit this amazing reef.
Inside the condo, no expense was spared for Hawaiian plantation- style décor with unique architectural details which add to the ambiance of the island experience. Original art adorns the walls.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook gourmet meals or simple island fish. The cabinetry detailing is traditional yet modern to give the condo an open, luxurious and homey feel. The kitchen offers views of the ocean as well.
The Makena Surf Resort is like no other on the island. Poised right above the beach with unobstructed views and gated security, it has a serene, tropical feel. 24 hour on-site security adds to your sense of comfort. The resort has two pools, one designated the “quiet pool” located in a calm garden setting. The other is a larger pool, centrally on the property, with hot tubs at both pools. There are four private tennis courts, one now with lines and nets for the ever popular pickle ball! There are several BBQ grills around the property for guests to use, 2 herb gardens to compliment your cooking needs and a nicely appointed indoor gym/work out room. The entire property is encased in lush tropical flora. Even Monarch butterflies love it here with a year round population dancing atop the tree beneath our lanai with their glorious displays! If you have a stay that qualifies for housekeeping services, traditional housekeeping service will be performed every 3rd day. This includes refreshing the condo and exchanging bed linens, bath towels, and amenities. Housekeeping services take place between 8 am - 430 pm daily. We are happy to bring back our Aloha Greet to welcome guests to the condo on arrival. Specific great times are set on your day of arrival.
