Overall great stay in an excellent location with great view. Had dryer and washer. Plenty of kitchen items. But prepare your own shampoos soaps, body wash, and cooking oils. They had nice beach chairs, beach towels, cooler and tennis rackets. But no beach toys or boogie boards. The only downside was the AC unit was very very loud and sounded like it was at its last leg. Overall a nice stay, excellent location walking location across from beach and clean safe condo grounds. Would stay here again as long as AC unit is replaced. Thank you!

Studio with great view across from beach. Nice to have a tennis/pickleball court as part of the complex. As mentioned in the listing, there is no dishwasher. Only minor negatives are the a/c is a bit loud and there is no beach umbrella. Otherwise everything is provided for a short term stay. Good value close to beach and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay here at this wonderful unit. As others have written, the view was amazing and the beach was close, right after crossing the street in front of the complex.
However, we couldn’t get the track lighting above the dining room table nor the fan above the bed to work. They seem to be connected, so maybe it was a gfci issue or something we missed. Also, the floor seems like it needs to be mopped and bleached, rather than just vacuumed, as we still got dirt on our feet from walking around in the unit barefoot. In addition, the vents in the bathroom ceiling were very full of dust, and need to be cleaned.
We appreciated all the amenities listed, the multiple towels in the bathroom and kitchen, along with a brand new clean sponge to wash dishes with.
All in all, we greatly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful quiet place, and would still definitely recommend this unit to others in spite of the issues mentioned in this review.

The view from the lanai was amazing! Restaurants and shops within walking distance were fantastic. The beach across the street was perfect, watch sunset almost every night. The snorkeling was amazing, swam next to a sea turtle and saw an eel and countless variety of fish. Great vacation and the host was very responsive.

The place is located really well for the beach which is just across the street and for eating at some of the best restaurants on Maui. Views are perfect and there is now other balcony next to this one so it also has privacy. Great place and we will stay here again.

This condo was perfect for our stay in Kihei! Perfect size for two and an amazing location with the best balcony in the area. The beach is right across the street and is very nice. There are also several restaurants and shops within just a few minutes walking distance from the condo. We would definitely stay here again!

Aloha. We love this place!! We didn’t want a hotel this trip. The property is well kept and friendly staff. It has the best view in the building, nice bathroom with full laundry and cute coffee mugs for a tea moment in the balcony. You would need anything but your personal belongings and some snacks for the full fridge. Beach is just across the property. Lovely moonlight views, sleeping was amazing. I can’t wait to come back. We absolutely loved the location of this place! We did not get to take advantage of any of the complex amenities like the pool or courts because we were visiting all the nearby beaches and shops/ restaurants. It also has a balcony with great views of the ocean. It was a tad bit warm but after the first night the window AC finally cooled it down. Host was responsive to questions. Would definitely recommend!

The room is newly remodeled in a sixties Hawaiian/Austin Power motif. We loved it! The ocean is just across which is great but the drawback is the noise from the traffic. No biggie though since things quiet down after 10pm. The management team was quick to respond to our requests and did follow up with us in a timely manner. Nearly all the furniture was new and stylish, however the mattress was super soft and sucked us right in. We think that is an older mattress with a soft topper on it so the support was lacking quite a lot...

This was our first visit to Kihei, and we loved everything about it! The unit itself is compact but has everything you need. The view is amazing. We spotted whales from the balcony. The residents were very friendly and we found wonderful places to eat nearby.

This was my 10th stay in the condo complex and 2nd time in this unit. The studio was a perfect size and with stunning views of the sunset. The unit has everything you need for your stay. Very comfortable. You can walk to so much from this complex and Makena Beach park is about 15 mins away. I will stay here again for sure :-)

This cozy studio is quite comfy for two people. The space is well used, well decorated and supplied (kitchen appliances, towels, beach toys, cooler; anything one would need). It is quite comfortable and very quiet, as it is on the end of the building and has NO windows to hallway noise. The parking spaces are well marked, security on-site makes sure people park appropriately, and it is a very convenient location.

I had a great 1 week stay at Suzi and Bryan's Condo It has a very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and the view from the balcony means you see the most amazing sunsets.
Some great restaurants nearby and the beach directly opposite the complex is great. Highly recommended and I'll definitely consider staying there again on my next trip to Maui.

Absolutely wonderful studio condo on the 6th floor. No other condo has the view this one has! Enjoyed sun ups and sun downs on the lanai with the ocean in plain site. We are seasoned Maui visitors and this condo is highly recommended especially loving the price. Short walk across the street or drive your car over and park along the street to unload all your beach gear. Very quiet and everyone was very friendly. One word of advice make sure when you leave during the day to draw those curtains tight! We made the mistake the first day when we left and it was pretty warm when we got back. Takes a little time to cool back down. If you're a TV watcher we struggled a little to get channels that didn't freeze so we decided-hey we are on vacation and turned it off. We never asked for help we just turned it off. Great condo and great owners very responsive the second we had a question. Don't hesitiste to stay here if you are 2 people it is perfect size!

Suzi’s condo is simply amazing! It met all our needs and more. The views were spectacular. The close proximity to beaches and a variety of restaurants and shops made our stay even better. We nicknamed the condo “our treehouse” because of the penthouse location and Maui breezes that keep us cool all day and night. We felt on top of the world! No need for a/c. We had a great time there. The condo is on the 6th floor (with elevator) with an incredible view. The condo is well equiped, nothing is missing. Perfect for a couple. You can spend hours on the balcony having breakfast or a drink ... Or just to enjoy the view.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this beachside condo for his 40th Birthday. We loved the view of the beach the best. Every morning we drank our coffee on the patio taking in the beauty. We saw this unit from the ground when we stayed at Kihei Akahi a couple years ago so we targeted it on our next visit best it's not hard to see that it has the best views in the complex! Sunsets anytime you want. The unit is a studio so great for 2 people. The only thing I would change is put a king size bed in instead of queen. It would be a little tighter but I would totally trade that for quality of sleep. Overall, O will be staying here again in the future!

My boyfriend and I stayed here 6 nights and couldnt be happier! Super central to all the great beaches and restaurants in the area. The view from the lanai was incredible! We enjoyed many sunsets and sunrises during our stay. Just a couple minute walk to beautiful Kamaole Beach 2.. doesn't get much better than that! Very convenient to have chairs, umbrella, coolers, snorkel gear. Condo also has all the cooking utensils needed to hang out and make breakfast in the morning. Suzi and Brian were very welcoming and easy to communicate with, truly have a special condo here in Kihei. We can't wait to stay here again!

We used the condo from 9/12/17 to 9/16/17. The condo accurately matched the listing photos and the owners took special care to answer any questions on Maui activities/sights and to contact them with any questions or issues. We were quite pleased with our stay here; in addition to the excellent condo, the location is great on the South Shore... beach was across the street, several other beaches with 10/15 minutes and easy drive to volcano crater, Road to Hana, plus we could walk to several restaurants, shops etc. A nice bonus was the management of the condo complex; they let us store our luggage in their office on our last day on Maui and to use the showers/restrooms at the pool in the afternoon before we headed to the airport. Staying in their condo was an excellent value.

This condo is perfect for 1 or 2 persons. Its pretty close to the beach (actually you just have to cross the street). The street has a lot of traffic but you dont hear the traffic noise, even not on the lanai. The Kihei Akahi is actually private, so everything is pretty quit there.
The condo has well equipped kitchen (would be enough for a whole company) and you can also BBQ outside at the pool (there is also a fridge, kitchen sideboard). The bed is comfortable and the fans were enough for some coolness. You can also find some stuff for the beach and the walk in shower was really nice.
When you check in you get some detergent, your parking permit and lots of informations about Kihei Akahi. Bars, cafes, restaurants are all around the corner, so you dont have to use the car to get some food or drinks.
Kihei is central, so if you plan trips to Hana, Haleakala and West-Maui its perfect. Kihei is full of condos, but this 6th floor made this one special and the owners are also communicative, so go for it

Aside from gorgeous sunset views, and great location across from beach and beside 808 Bistro and Fred's, in no order: hot water is really hot and lots of it & good flow rate, refrigerator is large (especially for a studio suite) with French doors, cold & the freezer freezes; gas stove, all the utensils, pots, plates you could want; lots of storage/hanging space, towels etc, in suite clothes washer & dryer; all the beach items you could want except surf board: boogie boards, snorkels, goggles, flippers, umbrella, cabana thing, super Tommy Bahama beach chairs, 3 coolers - all gratis to make your stay at Suzi & Bryan's completely hassle free. Spacious shower (& the hot water as above). Air con worked pretty well - we did stay at the hottest time of the year and 2 other fans; beautiful sand swimming beach across the street. Sun sets every evening n front of your lanai (balcony). Decent tv, lots of channels, DVD player. And parking! Oh, and the 2 pools & BBQs! Suzi & Bryan happy to help any way they can but don't interfere.
Negatives: it's a studio, great for couples or singles but a little small for + baby or child. No bathtub for those who require such. We had a wonderful stay and will try to stay in this unit again when back again!

Suzi & Bryan, the owners, are super easy to work with and promptly replied to my e mails and also offered suggestions about things to do on the island.
The studio was clean and nicely decorated - very open and relaxing. It had so many upgrades and extra touches, not usually found in a studio. Along with all the necessary kitchen items, there is a even a coffee grinder for that delicious Kona coffee in the mornings while sitting on the lanai and a multi speed blender for making those tropical drinks in the evening.
The views from lanai are really awesome! I read an earlier review about the a/c, and it wasn't an issue for me at all. Some condos don't even have an a/c, so I was happy there was one and its size is the largest allowed for a studio unit and works just fine. There is also a ceiling fan above the bed which keeps the air cool and also an upright air circulator which is really good as it has a remote and you can move it around if you want to.
The condo had all the beach stuff you needed and was in good condition.
The landscaping and pool areas of Kihei Akahi are kept up nicely and I like having your own assigned parking space..from the lanai, I can look down at it as well as the pool and tennis court.
For the price, this is the BEST place to stay.
I will definitely be back here stay here on my next trip.

We have stayed in this condo many times and have always looked forward to our stay there. Nothing beats the view of the ocean on the 6th floor. All conveniences are in the condo from cookware to utensils.Boogie boards, snorkel kits as well as new beach chairs this year. This place is close to local shopping and a nice pub in front with good food and prices. Bryan and Suzi are excellent to deal with and want to make your vacation memorable. Highly recommend this condo as we won't stay anywhere else.
