We loved our stay here. The condo itself is impeccable - totally renovated and has everything you could need, including beach gear!
Fred was very responsive with communication and clearly cared about making our experience great.
You can't beat the location - the condo is at the back of the property, which means it is super quiet, but it is a short walk to fantastic snorkeling at Kamaole 2 and 3.
We had friends stay at a condo at the same property and we loved the pools for entertaining the kids.
We would love to stay here again!

Stayed for 2 weeks. Family of 4 ( kids 5 and 1.5) . The pool really is 20 steps away , we spent a lot of time there and kids loved it. Pool is warm and the gardens are gorgeous. The king bed and sofa pull out were comfortable and all my family needed. The condo has extra linens and sheets as well. The washer and dryer in the unit are full size and work great. We also loved how the fridge made ice. The condo is just off south kihei road and close to kam 3 beach which is a great beach for kids. We mainly drove to beach but we went for morning walks from the condo. There is a steep hill to climb from the street which is hard with little kids who are hot. The tv has a really good selection of cable channels. The patio is great. Nice and relaxing and quiet. Gets lots of afternoon sun. The awning was used most of our trip. Did not hear any outside noise at night the whole stay which we appreciated. I contacted the owner Fred a few
times and he got back to me right away amd was so nice.
The only negatives was that there was a lot of decor about the place. Lots of stuff for little kids to touch. And some of the furniture is maybe a bit too big for the space.The beach equipment wasnt quite what we expected. There was just one cooler and it was tiny. We purchased a soft cooler bag to use as well. There was only 1 useable boogie board, the other was in rough shape when we took to the beach and ended up falling apart in ocean. And out of the 4 beach chairs only 1 had a workable strap.

Fred and Mary’s condo was amazing. Kept very clean,
Fully stocked, comfortable bed, etc. they were extremely responsive/organized and great to deal with. We spent 5 nights here and then spent the rest of our trip at an expensive hotel in Wailea, enjoyed the condo every bit as much. Save your money and stay here instead! The condo and grounds are beautiful. Bonus, the pool/hot tub are just a couple steps from the back door.

My wife and I were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and very nervous about heading to Maui due to the fires in Lahaina. The communication between the owners and us were fantastic and just the start of our unforgettable stay.
The condo was in immaculate condition, the kitchen was 110% stocked with everything we needed. Bed, bathrooms and the whole condo was clean and neat. Loved all the little notes of how to operate anything or care for anything, if needed.
I absolutely look forward to potentially staying here WHEN we visit Maui again. Bringing the whole family next time.

From the start the hosts were wonderful and super accommodating! The condo was very clean upon arrival and just the perfect size for our party of 4. Really close to everything and wonderful to have parking on site. Only recommendation would be to change out the sofa bed mattress. We traded turn sleeping in the bed to give our backs a break.

This was a great spot to set up to be able to explore the island. The condo is very well equipped and comfortable. We loved the nearby beaches in Wailea and especially big beach in Makena, and also drove up to the northern beaches a few times. The dedicated parking spot and beach equipment was very helpful!

Loved this condo! It had everything we needed for a fantastic time. We stayed here for two weeks and it felt like a home away from home. It is located in a quiet and beautifully landscaped property with a wonderful pool that we used many times right next to this condo. Loved the dedicated parking spot and all of the beach supplies. It had everything we needed for our trip. The owner was very responsive to the questions that we had and we hope to stay here again someday!

Condo is in a very clean and beautiful resort like complex. It is steps away from the pool & 5-10 minute drive from all things in Kihei & Wailea. The hosts are very responsive & the condo was as advertised. The kitchen is fully stocked & the host provided all beach accessories you’ll need. We thoroughly enjoyed the private lanai in a tropical garden area on so many serene mornings and evenings.
The only inconveniences we had is that the wall ACs don’t blow as cool as we’d prefer & the mattress gets hot at night, although everyone’s preference is different I’m sure. I would also update a few items in the condo like the ironing board and a few pieces of furniture but other than that it was a great 6 night stay in beautiful Maui!

Really wish we could say a bunch of negative stuff so that it's not booked in the future when we're trying to come back. But this place checks all the boxes. Convenient, nice, comfortable, beach/tennis equipment, etc. You won't be disappointed. We will definitely try to stay here again.

Owner was very accommodating. Location definitely requires a vehicle, but is great relative to the pool. The two air conditioning units are older and very loud. Need to be replaced. Kitchen is very nice and ideal for those who like to cook. Replace the entertainment unit in bedroom with a dresser as there was limited space for clothes other than closet with hangers. Not ideal living out of a suitcase.

Great! Loved the condo and it's location. Walking distance to beach (across the street), shopping and restaurants along S. Kihei Rd. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. It's close to the upper pool and tennis courts however we never heard the noise from them. I would definitely return and stay here.

This is the fourth VRBO we have rented in South Kihei and is by far our favorite. The unit is wonderfully updated and is spacious and airy - neither are always the case. The location is ideal - close to both a pool/hot tub and the tennis courts but not disturbed by noise from either. The owners were communicative and accommodating. We will definitely return.

Amazing hosts with quick and helpful - offering great places to eat and visit - communication throughout the whole process leading up to and during our family's stay at their beautiful, well appointed and stocked condo! We found everything we needed and appreciated the beach towels, chairs and umbrella for our lovely beach trips. Short walking distance to Kamaole III park and beach and well maintained grounds. Lovely views all around. Our 17 and 21 year daughters enjoyed the close hot tub and pool each night, and their own bathroom. Great location to adventure to all the places on the island and come home to a peaceful and comfortable place to sit on the lanai's and relax. Pull out sofa was comfy for our girls for the 8 nights. Our first time away from home for Christmas was a hit and we were able to keep some traditions. We found everything in the kitchen that we needed down to a pizza cutter, 2 coffee brewing options, water filter, etc... 100% recommend Maui Kamaole M102 to anyone wanting to stay in the Kihei-Wailea area. Mahalo to Mary and Fred for sharing their little piece of heaven with us!

First, I would say if you are looking at this property then you should go ahead and book it. The condo and grounds were very nice. Fred, the host, was very nice and helpful. To date, he has been one of, if not, the best host we’ve had.
Now on to the property itself. We were using this property as our base camp for south Maui. For us, it was in a great location as we were going from North Kehei to Wailea to Makena and the lava fields. There is a beach across the street. Some of the better food is a very short couple min drive. The condo is very quiet with a nice breeze. I forgot that we were next to the pool until we went to the pool. You can’t see it or hear it. You are also close to the tennis courts. The only regret we had was not staying longer. We plan on staying here again in the future.

The entire process was very enjoyable. It was an easy booking process with our host Fred answering our questions prior to booking the property. Fred was very thorough with instructions about the property including directions to the property and any needed codes for the front door, pool etc. The condo was nicely updated, well stocked and conveniently located to beaches, restaurants, bars and shopping. We had a very nice stay. The property has tropical landscape and is well maintained. It is a short walk down the hill to the Kam III beach and park. Nice sunsets from the park green space. There are spectacular safe swimming/walking beaches all along this location. The property offers covenient barbecues for the complex. They have really nice warm swimming pools. I don't think there are enough adjectives to explain how much we enjoyed our stay at Fred and Mary's condo. Beginning with the booking, all aspects of this experience were beyond reproach. The descriptions in the listing are spot on, the location we really enjoyed as it is a little lower key then our last stay in Lahaina and you have access to multiple beaches, cafes and restaurants. Fred and Mary, the owners, were very responsive and attentive to our every need when necessary. We definitely will try to book this condo next time we are in Maui.

Very nicely appointed condo just a few steps away from the pool and hot tub (but not too close so as to be noisy). We really enjoyed our time in Maui and appreciated all of the amenities and the special touches from our host. It was decorated beautifully and the kitchen in particular had everything we needed and more. It did not feel like a rental, it felt like we were staying at a friend's home.

Fred and Mary did an absolute amazing job with this condo. It's super clean, amazingly stocked, and the location is fabulous! They made our long stay feel like home and we really loved coming back every evening to a comfy bed. The pool is right by the back lanai which was nice, but also we had privacy from the hedges and plants. Not a single bug in site, this says something for how clean and maintained this condo is, this is Hawaii and I have stayed at super nice hotels and still had the occasional bug because it's the islands. The grounds were very well maintained and security was present driving around at night checking dark corners with flashlights. It's a great location for snorkeling as Polo Beach Club is only a 5 min drive up the road and thats Turtle Town, if you take a small snorkel tour like RedLine Rafting, they leave from the docks right across the street from the condo complexes entrance (this is super convenient as it's an early morning thing).
Overall, we would love to stay again and make this our annual location. Fred and Mary were super friendly, informative, and organized. It speaks volumes when all of their reviews are amazing, and then when you experience it, it makes your stay so much nicer. Thank you Fred and Mary for sharing your special space with us and we look forward to future stays!

We had a lovely stay. Unit is remodeled including upscale bathrooms, and owners decorated the spacious 1 bdrm unit in very pleasing island furnishings and wall decor. There is access to two nice pools and beautiful beaches only a short drive. It has a very well stock granite counter kitchen and new appliances. The large TV with cable is nice for evening relaxing. Landscaping of complex is well kept with tropical plants and flowers blooming. Thank you for providing beach items so we didn't have to rent them. We hope to return soon for more beach walks and sunsets.

We absolutely loved our stay at Fred’s condo. It was so comfy, clean and wonderful amenities. Pool is just a few feet away and parking spot is close by. And as a extra bonus we got the opportunity to meet Fred the owner who came to fix the screen door. He was very nice and called us upon arrival to make sure everything was good upon our arrival. This is one of the best condos that we have ever stayed in. It is very well equipped, decorated with taste, and it is in a quiet location, and yet only a few steps from the pool and walking distance to the beach. What else would you want?! What makes this unit extra special is it’s Lanai! There is some nice landscaping, so it feels like sitting in a little garden. There are TWO lounging, so that both my husband and I could relax. And also there is an awning which cuts the heat and glare of the afternoon sun. We highly recommend this unit and the attentive owners!

The pictures provided on this unit are very accurate and the unit is absolutely beautiful. Its a fantastic space at the upper end of the property. It does require a walk to the beach but its very close and easy to get to Kam III. I gladly will trade ocean front views and the street traffic for this unit. Its quiet, very clean, and tastefully decorated. Which makes it very homey. The kitchen is very well outfitted with plenty of cookware. The furniture is very classy and comfortable which is a big deal when you finish a day of exploring and want to crash for the night. A comfortable chair/sofa is so much better than many of the bamboo furniture sets you see in other units. This unit is very close to the upper pool - which is the better of the two pools on the property. Much of the pool area sounds are masked by the waterfall and the pool area closes at 9 or 10pm so you don't have to worry about all night noises. The lanai is cozy and comfortable and private.
Fred & Mary were very easy to communicate with and really embraced the Aloha spirit. We would absolutely recommend this unit and will rent from them again.

It was a true pleasure visiting Maui and staying at Fred and Mary’s condo. This one bedroom condo is extremely clean and spacious. Maui Kamaole provides you with a great Island location. It is about 30 minutes from the Kahului airport, 5 minutes from Wailea, and roughly an hour from Haleakala National Park. Check out Kihei for some yummy take out and food truck options. There are two separate pools at this condo complex. We only visited the one pool because it’s steps from the condo. It also has a hot tub. Be sure to open the sliding doors, turn on the fans, and let the air flow through the condo for an amazingly refreshing Island air breeze. We enjoyed the private Lanai and beautiful view of the back Lanai. If you choose to use the AC, they have one in the bedroom and family room. It cools down the place very quickly. This condo honestly has everything you could want from beach chairs, toys and an umbrella to a fully functional kitchen and washer & dryer. The amenities are endless here! We really had everything we could possibly need! I would recommend staying here to everyone visiting the island. Fred and Mary were extremely responsive and provided us with everything we needed for our family! Their kindness and communication is unmatched. We hope to return sometime in the future. Thanks to Fred and Mary for sharing their island getaway with us.
