Wailokoa Fairways Ground Floor
You'll find all the comforts of home in this tropically furnished condo with scenic views of the mountains and golf course. Picture yourself relaxing in the reclining chair in the living room, where you can look out at the golf course or simply watch TV or a movie (from our large selection of family-friendly videos).
The convenience of being on the ground level allows easy access in and out of the condo, and lets you walk out directly from the lanai to the beautiful lawn that surrounds the fairways. Our condo features custom cabinets (cherry), granite kitchen counters and marble bathroom counters.
The master bedroom has a spectacular view of the golf course and a walk-in closet to store your luggage. The master bath has double sinks, an oversized soaking tub and separate tile shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room can accommodate two more guests. Watch movies or your favorite TV programs on our new (as of September 2013) 32' flat screen TVs with wi-fi blu-ray DVD players; one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. We also have wireless internet and an I-pod docking station.
When you arrive at our condo, it will be set up with laundry detergent, dish soap, coffee, and even the little bathroom toiletries that you would expect to find at one of the luxury hotels nearby. We also provide beach towels and mats, boogie boards, beach chairs, and a cooler for your convenience.
The Fairway Villas is a gated Hawaiian plantation-style resort, ideally located along the lush fairways of the Beach Course (where renters get a discount on golf fees) and adjacent to the historic petroglyph trails. The property has an infinity edge pool, lava rock hot tub, open-air fitness center, and poolside barbecue grills and picnic area. An on-site business center provides work space, fax machine, and printer.
A three-minute stroll past a lake takes you to the King's Shops, an impressive collection of restaurants, upscale boutiques and island-style gift shops, art galleries and jewelry stores, and cultural activities (lei-making) and events (live music). There is even a general store where you can buy souvenirs, sunscreen, and food staples for the condo. Across the street is the newly opened Queen's Market Place. This 28-acre complex has a Starbucks, Macaroni Grill, and even more options for dining, shopping, and entertainment, including concerts and outdoor movies. The full service Island Gourmet Market has a meat/seafood department, fresh produce, and deli with outdoor seating, as well as lots of souvenirs.
The crescent shaped white sand beach of Anaeho'omalu Bay (known as A' Bay) is a short walk or 2-minute drive from the condo. A' Bay has an ocean activities rental hut that offers snorkel gear, kayaks, hydrobikes, glass-bottom boat rides, sunset sail cruises, snacks, and more.
Within a 12-minute drive, you'll find the world famous beaches of Hapuna and Mauna Kea.( Hapuna has a snack bar with delicious salads and smoothies!) Ask us for more tips on things to do on the Big Island.
