MASTER BEDROOM SUITE is a separate living area with private bathroom, connected through the hallway. It feels like your own little condo. Comes with TV, full bath, dresser and private balcony.
SECOND BEDROOM has queen bed, dresser and TV.
THIRD LOFT BEDROOM. Up the stairs from the living room is a loft. It has a queen bed and space on floor for foldout twin size futon if you are looking to squeeze an extra person in. There is a dresser and area for reading books.
LIVING ROOM HAS QUEEN SIZE SOFA sleeper, with good quality bed and 4" topper.

WHAT SUPPLIES ARE INCLUDED: This is not a hotel, but a lovely condo that you use as your home while there. I supply dishwashing products, hand soap, laundry detergent to cover the final towel loads, (you supply for your weekly laundry), and first rounds of TP, Paper Towel. I do not supply toiletry items.
WASHER AND DRYER IN UNIT
Would like you to know that I do request that my guests wash and dry the towels before their check out. Due to the amount of guests that this unit allows, i need some help with towels, as they take so long to finish,.... or the cleaning team cannot get all the laundry completed before next check in later that day. So, guests in this unit are required to wash, dry and fold all the towels they used during their stay before they depart. This unit can house 9 people and so we need your assistance in getting ready for next guest. Thank you for your understanding .I do request that you strip the bed sheets and just leave them on bed. We will launder them. Thank you so much for understanding that and helping out.
MORE DESCRIPTION
Very lovely, spacious, 1145 sq. ft, nicely finished, WONDERFULLY close ocean and Haleakala views on the 4th floor. Walk to Hawaiian Moons Health Food Store and MANY other South Kihei shopping areas and strip centers. Walk to Kamaole I Beach Park (200 yds away) in a couple of minutes. There is free wifi, internet and standard cable TV. Many of the islands best beaches are on this side, and all very close, with much variety.
All rooms A/C equipped with Ceiling Fans and stand up fans also. Main Bedroom has firm Cali King Bed with wall mounted TV. Second bathroom is in hall adjacent to second bathroom and includes full tub and shower with granite counter. Third Bedroom is nicely furnished with queen bed and has plenty of space for a fold out twin-size futon to unfold on to floor.
Living Room has cathedral ceilings with lovely maple colored wood floors. Large Lanai off of Living Room has great ocean views and a table and chairs for 9.
Kitchen Is fully stocked with all you will need if you like to cook.
Plenty of pots and pans, blender, coffee maker, kettle, rice cooker, microwave, stove and oven.
Although there is no interior dining table, there is an Island counter that can seat 4 guests. Most people prefer to use the outdoor balcony dining area that seats all 9 guests with 2 tables.
There is a Britta water filter pitcher available here so you don't need to carry and purchase water to the condo. You may of course wish to stock bottles in your car from our very nearby Costco, next to the airport.
The grounds include a pool, hot tub, sauna, two gas grill-equipped BBQ areas with picnic tables, lush landscaping, and free parking.
The complex does not allow pets. All of the common areas/public areas are non-smoking, except for two designated areas, one in each parking lot. Our condo unit itself is completely non-smoking, including the lanais.
The condo association enforces 'quiet hours' between 10 PM and 8 AM, which makes for very peaceful evenings - a good thing, since there are so many available daytime activities, you'll want to be well-rested!
The condo is NOT wheelchair accessible, and access may be difficult for those with mobility limitations. There is an elevator to the fourth floor, but there are also several short flights of stairs (a total of 24 steps, divided over four stairways) because of the unique way the complex is terraced on a hillside. So, it's good exercise. I enjoy the walk as I take in the beautiful surroundings. If you don't enjoy steps, best to choose a different unit.
Unit is stocked with Beach Gear. Tommy Bahama back-pack chairs with cooler and pockets, umbrellas, and many beach towels.

Check out is 11am on day of departure. (If no one is coming in after you, we can discuss terms for an extended last day.)
Check in time is 4pm. (If the unit has been cleaned early, you can check when it's ready for you.)
DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA
Kihei is home of the BEST Maui has to offer. Kihei is a LONG beach community that features, boating excursions, whale watching (seasonal) swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, paddling, boogie boarding, surfing, windsurfing, beach volleyball and canoeing. Enjoy sunrises over Haleakala and sunsets over the ocean. Casual to elegant dining, dancing and karaoke are all within easy walking distance. The property is located directly across the street and within steps of one of the BEST adult and family beaches, Kamaole I Beach Park. This beach has a great snorkeling reef to the left featuring beautiful coral, abundant fish and turtles! There are also shallow tide pools where young children can enjoy sea life exploration. You will enjoy white sandy beaches and boogie boarding waves. All three Kam Beach Parks have lifeguards, grassy areas, picnic tables, restrooms and outside showers.
The nearby Kihei Boat Ramp offers snorkeling and diving adventures. About a mile in the northern direction, surfing abounds. Two Kihei located canoe clubs offer visitor canoeing. 15 minutes and less for Elleair, Wailea and Makena Golf Courses! Enjoy walking along the sandy beach oceanfront trails and walkways of luxury resorts from Kihei to Makena.

The condo is as described. More spacious than it looks in pictures. Clean and well appointed. Beds comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. No issues with the stay. Yes, there are a lot of stairs, even if you use the elevator. Yes, you have to be organized on the morning of checkout to get all of your chores done… towels washed and folded, beds stripped, fridge cleaned out, sand swept up, trash taken out. We were a group of 5 adults and made quick work of it. Overall, lovely stay.

The #1 thing that should be clarified is how this rental sleeps 9. There are 4 beds total and one futon/cushion thing. So, if all 4 beds have 2 people and a child is sleeping on the futon cushions, 9 will sleep very comfortably. Especially considering you don't vacation on Maui to stay inside, the close quarters wont matter. Just note that if you have 9 adults, you likely won't love the sleeping arrangement. It was fine for us with 2 kids and one small teen. It's within walking distance to a lot of good food and a super nice beach. Grace was easy to get ahold of with questions.

Convenient, well stocked. Well-priced. Owner came twice during our 4 night stay to pick something up. I've never had that happen during a vrbo stay before. Note - All towels had to be washed and dried before you left meaning many hours spent last morning just sitting waiting for this.

Our stay in Maui was made extra special
while staying at Graces condo. It really had everything we needed and I was delighted it had an electric kettle to make tea. I love tea. There were plenty of pots, pans and utensils.
The condo is very clean and comfortable and really well equipped with all you need. We had a wonderful stay at the condo and hope to return soon.

Grace's condo in Kihei has everything needed to enjoy a vacation in Maui. When it comes to location, Kihei was a great location to enjoy the beaches, activities, and restaurants. It was central to all locations so you can go to anywhere from there and easily. The condo was perfect for us 9 guests. It was my parents, my wife, 3 boys, and my uncle and aunt. We stayed upstairs, the boys were in the living area, and the older ones had their own rooms. The swimming pool and hot tub on location was a highlight after a long day out and about enjoying Maui. I would love to visit again. Grace was quick to respond and super helpful!

This is a great condo in a great location.
If your wanting a location near it all then Grace’s condo is it.
We all slept great The AC is this unit works very well so you never have to worry about it. The mattress in the hideaway was comfortable and in good shape.
There are plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas for your beach stay.
If I were to make any improvements I would simply recommend updating some of the cooking utensils. We cook a lot and I would have liked to have a little more to work with. However it didn’t change that we very much enjoyed our stay and would easily stay here again.

Kihei Ali Kai is just two blocks from the beach with many restaurants and shops near by.
We really enjoyed our stay there, including the pool, hot tub, and grill area. Grace was very communicative.
We did not appreciate the complex property manager, who was rude and unhelpful.

We stayed a week with my teenage kids, husband and mom, and it was everything we imagined. Grace was detailed in all of her instructions and super easy to work with. The condo was stocked with all of the necessities. We had two ocean views from the lanai. Beach is a couple minute walk, and there are a ton of restaurants and shops within walking distance. This condo was perfect. For 7 adults, we had enough room to space out and not feel like sardines. The condo was clean and well stocked with all the essentials - linens, beach chairs, spices, cooking essentials. Grace was also amazing. She was so responsive and answered any and all questions throughly and immediately. Just a short walk downhill to an amazing beach. Nice a sandy, no rocks, great for swimming. Lots of shops within a 3 min walk. Seriously, one of the best stays we’ve had. Can’t wait to come back and stay at Graces condo!

Great spot for three couples. Nice pool, quiet resort. Close to beach and restaurants. Owner was very accessible and easy to communicate with. Would have rated 5/5 except for furnishings: living furniture wasn’t comfortable for lounging very long, not a lot of dishes/glassware for six people. The towels and beach items were a bit worn and dated. Beds were all very comfortable. The fans and AC were great to keep the unit very pleasant. Located on 4th floor - lots of stairs and not great for anyone with knee issues. Happy to tell friends to stay there :)

Grace is easy to work with, the nights were cooler than usual so she brought us a couple blankets. Very comfortable. The pool area, hot tub and sauna is well maintained. The icing on the cake was the hot sauna area. Very nice. We will be back.

The unit was large enough to sleep our party of 9. We never spent 2 much time in the unit because we just didn’t feel comfortable. Furniture was old, sheets worn, all the towels were disgusting. The towels I use to wash my car r in better shape. The beach towels were so bad that we actually went out & bought new ones 2 take with us. When booking this vacation, we stated that our party was 5 A & 4 C. The pool area was clean however was not a kid friendly place. There was a sign posted stating: No Music, Food, Drink, Toys, basically swim quietly & no fun allowed. 1 very important thing we looked 4 was air conditioning. From the day we arrived we started receiving text messages from the owner. 1st welcoming us 2 the island & then constantly reminding us 2 turn off the air conditioner at night & when we left the unit daily. At home I set it & forget it which is both energy efficient & comfortable. During our visit the owner scheduled 3 maintenance appointments. 1st, I called 2 inform her that the front door electric deadbolt wasn’t working properly. 2 my surprise she was aware of the issue & instead of repairing prior 2 our arrival she waited 2 have it looked at during our stay. 2nd She called us & informed us that she had scheduled a contractor 2 look at a wall. When we stated that we weren’t comfortable with people coming into the unit because of our personal belonging she told me that it was not a big deal! & that I was making it a bigger issue then it really was & insisted that the appointment would stand. We had laptops, purses, money, multiple things that made us very uncomfortable having people entering the unit. 3rd We received another call stating that there was a leak in the building & that the water needed 2 be turned off & checked out. She also stated that we were 2 all use 1 bathroom. We’re 9 people. Frustrated, with all the text messages & people coming in & out of the unit whenever the owner wanted my husband left us in Lahaina 2 go turn off the water & make sure someone was home while people enter the unit. When he arrived there was no leak, no water and hours later received another message that the leak was in a different unit. We felt very inconvenienced. After sun down the lighting inside the unit is HORRABLE! Lack of hot water sucked, & the mattress in the loft needs to be replaced due to the dip in the middle. Next time I stay in Maui it will be in a hotel with clean white sheets, nice towels a kid friendly pool.

Grace’s place was very comfortable and had many amenities that benefited our group of 6—my husband and I, and 4 “kids” in their 20s. It was conveniently right above the pool/hot tub and just minutes away from great eateries, fun souvenir shops, and a beautiful beach where we watched sunsets nearly every night. It couldn’t be better located to take advantage of everything that Kihei has to offer.
