HawaiiGaga Insider Tips

Choosing a unit at Poipu Kapili

  • For all-day cooling, use the Air conditioning search filter; check listing details and reviews for cooled rooms. Several Poipu Kapili rentals have bedroom-only AC despite an AC listing.
  • If evening privacy matters, choose a lanai set back from Hoonani Road; oceanfront patios overlook the road and sunset-wall gatherings, which some guests find intrusive.
  • For easy pool access, choose a ground-floor walkout near the pool; you can step onto the grounds directly while still having ocean views.
