Ekolu is located in the five-star resort area of WAILEA. Our condo sleeps up to 6 and has it all! Stainless steel appliances, bathrooms (new toilets, showers, tub, sinks, new granite throughout), and new floors (Beautiful wood-looking tile floors-easy clean). There are AC units in the living room, master bedroom, and guest bedroom.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with utensils, dinnerware, pots/pans, cooking utensils, basic seasonings, kitchen electrics (toasters, coffee maker, tea kettle, teapot, slow cooker, rice cooker, etc). You will be provided with all the basics to start your trip off right and relaxed!

The condo is located just 16.5 miles from Kahului Airport. Grocery stores, including a Safeway, are located just north of Wailea in Kihei. Here you will find inexpensive restaurants, movie theaters, and brand name stores.
Ekolu Village offers two solar-heated pools, charcoal barbecue areas with picnic tables, and a recreation room with a sharing library. We have an electric barbecue on our lanai.

THE GREAT THING ABOUT OUR UNIT: is we have NO SIDE NEIGHBORS to the right of us, which provides even more privacy. GROUND FLOOR UNIT--GREAT FOR FAMILIES. Just one minute down the garden path from our Condo is Manoli's pizza restaurant, Snorkel Bob's (where you can schedule your Maui adventures or rent gear) and an Urgent Care Clinic. Five minutes down the lush garden path are the Shops at Wailea, and through the Wailea Promenade, you will hit all the Five Star Resort Hotels-ALL WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. We are a short, less than five-minute drive or 10-minute walk to warm sandy beaches, where you can relax on the beach, snorkel, boogie board, and build sand castles.
FOR YOU GOLF LOVERS: Ekolu Village neighbors the World Renowned Wailea Blue Golf Course.
FOR YOU TENNIS PLAYERS: The Wailea Tennis Club is located in close proximity to our condo. You cannot get better than this in terms of location and convenience!
PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately because this is a tropical island pests are a common occurrence which is why we specifically mention it. The guest must understand that Hawaii is located in a tropical climate and that insects, rodents, and lizards flourish in this environment. Although we will use our best efforts to hold to a minimum your interaction with these pests during your stay, Guests must understand that any contact by the guest with such a pest within or outside the unit does not constitute a breach of the rental policy.

We stayed for six nights and the condo was a perfect spot for hanging out at the beach and snorkling. We did drive to the beach, but you can walk. Fantastic for walking to local coffee shop and the shops at Wailea.

You won’t be sorry. The two master bedrooms work so well for those traveling with another couple as we were. The air conditions worked great tho a bit noisy which is to be expected with window air conditions. Have fun as this is a chillaxing great place to enjoy this side of the island , it’s resorts and beaches!!!

This property is in a good location except the closest pool was closed the entire month of April! It is a trek up the hill to the only other pool. Unit itself is worn and not as pristine as photos appear. Closets were stuffed full, sheet in particular were worn, the kitchen had lots of cabinet chips, and outdoor chairs were warped and cushions worn. Overall, it just felt tired.

This is ideal for 2 couples or small family that wants to be in the middle of it all! Loved that there was a great coffee shop a very short walk from the back door. Also within walking distance to beaches great restaurants, shopping and golfing! The condo had everything we needed for going to the beach with chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear, cooler, towels! Beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked! Highly recommend this condo! Thank you!!

Great location, comfortable accommodations, beautiful views, and quiet. Family of 5 stayed here for 2 weeks including two teenage boys and our 5 year old girl. Loved having 2 separate twin beds for the boys and a pull out couch for our daughter. Walking distance to shopping and just down the road from lots of restaurants. The inside of the condo is beautifully furnished and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed.
We love Maui and can't wait to come back.

We were in this condo for over 6 weeks. The location is great. Both the owner and Rentals Maui were quick to respond to our requests that could be addressed during our stay such as the TV service and a repair in the guest bath, plus having property management clear some vegetation around the lanai, but overall the unit needs a little TLC, both a good deep cleaning and a touch of paint. The remodeling of the main bedroom bathtub and of the guest shower are nice. The bathroom and kitchen countertops look nice but the base cabinets were not replaced and are old and stained. The window screens are original and some no longer stay in the frame; the screen door to the unit needs replaced. The bedroom lanais are not really usable unless cleaned and vegetation is removed. The LR and DR furniture is new but the bedroom furniture is old and tired. We had to ask that some owner items be moved out of the closets so we had some room for our things.
All of the above were mentioned during our stay to the property management inspectors and, if addressed, could make this unit much more attractive.

My husband, 2 teenage children (ages 18 and 19) and I spent 9 nights at this wonderful, very clean, spacious, comfortable condo. The location was perfect - quiet condo complex, beautiful view of the ocean, walking distance to the beach and great shopping - and the pool is also very close walking distance to the condo as well. The kitchen is very well stocked - even has a rice maker! This is one of the most relaxing vacations we have had. We would definitely stay here again. This beautiful Wailea condo was comfortable and clean, a perfect home away from home. Centrally located and close to the beach. I stay in Maui every year for work and this is one of the nicer units I have stayed in. The owners are very friendly and really went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. The kitchen is well equipped for any cooking you may want to do while enjoying your time on the island. I highly recommend this Wailea Ekolu property! Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

We, a family of 4 from the Netherlands, had an excellent stay in this condo. Plenty of space and loads of stuff to bring to the beach, thanks for that.
We used the grill most of the time and also dined just down the hill.
Molokini, Haleakala and the road to Hana are a must, so beautiful. We loved Makena beach with it's big waves. A lot of fun with the boards from the condo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was comfortable with all the amenities you need away from home. It is on the far side of Ekolu nearest the ocean and the shops, which were a 5 min walk away.

The view from the condo is gorgeous. The sliding doors span the length of the living room and the view of the open lush landscape in front of the condo and of the ocean is beautiful. Wailea Ekolu village was quiet and well maintained. It was just a short walk from the shops at Wailea. The condo was well equipped and I was happy to find a condo that was updated and not all wicker and Hawaiian floral print. The owners were kind enough to purchase a device that would allow us to access our Netflix account etc while we were staying there. We were very happy with this condo and would recommend to others and would stay there again.

We enjoyed the condo's location. The lanai has beautiful views of the ocean. The owners and the people at Rental's Maui were lovely to work with. Parts of the condo have been renovated which was nice. The kitchen was new on the surface and has new appliances but a bit limiting in what was provided for cooking (a lot of older mismatched stuff). We love to cook and being able to make our meals was why we tried a condo vs. a hotel. We ended up eating out a lot but there were many restaurants within walking distance and we enjoyed the many beaches we could walk to for swimming, boogie boarding and snorkeling. There were ample beach toys and chairs provided. I would give Wailea beaches a five star rating. This is a great area especially if you have kids/teens. The waves were not overwhelming and there were so many beaches to choose from. There was always ample parking if we drove.

Excellent location in the heart of Wailea being very close to all amenities as well as great beaches.
The condo was recently renovated and well equipped with modern appliances and everything needed for a day at the beach.
I travel extensively with my employment and was very impressed with the comfort of the bed.
We enjoyed the quiet location having early morning coffee and evening happy hours on the spacious lanai.
The owner and Rentals Maui were easy to work with and very accommodating.
