Exceeded our expectations and everything was perfect - the view from inside is beyond amazing… photos do no justice-the lanai offers ocean views that are everything you dreamed- turtles swimming, dolphins spinning and never ending views of blue green oceans extending out to the neighboring islands with Volcanic mountains in the distance- we had a magical honeymoon in the perfect spot- Mahalo and we will be back!

The Mahana is a perfect location for a family. The boardwalk entrance is in front of the building for morning and evening strolls. The beach is just downstairs and to the left more and more beach to choose from. There is a shopping area across the street and a park and health food store 10 min away walking.

My husband and I spent 8 nights at Mahana and couldn't get enough! We thoroughly enjoyed the condo and the surroundings. We walked every day, enjoyed the pool, ate breakfast on the lanai each morning listening to the waves, felt completely relaxed and in a safe and beautiful environment. The condo was very clean and well maintained as well as well equipped with all of our needs. We would love to return to 1117 Mahana someday!

We have stayed in this unit a couple of times. Views are fantastic! Super clean. Everything you will need for a wonderful Maui vacation. Property owner and managers are great. You won’t be disappointed!

Judith the host was super responsive throughout. Great pool and amenities on property. Condo itself was pristine, grounds including the shared grill were clean and well cared for. The condo had everything we needed and more. Saw turtles right below us constantly, you won’t get that at most other beachfront properties. Mahalo Judith for sharing your piece of paradise with us!!!

The property was surprisingly well equipped. Things like clothes washing liquid, dish washing soap for hand and machine, paper towels. tissues where all there. So, check the unit before buying any of these or like items. Also, the unit had beach towels, beach chairs and a cooler with ice packs in the freezer. I found the bed left me with a backache but that is almost always the case for me away from home. The beach directly in front of the unit is not swimmable due to rocks/coral, however, a short walk south gets to some great swim beaches. The pool complex was basic but pleasant enough. Located on a boardwalk to nearby resorts and to Whalers Resort Shopping which is a two-mile walk. The unit was accurately described, and the owner was very responsive to questions. Would definitely stay there again.

There was construction on side wall directly looking into our room. Workers were working on scafing looking into the bedroom beginning at 8 am. Loud overbearing noise. Unit needed a dusting, bed linen cleaning.

Mahalo, Judith, for sharing your place with us as our home-away-from-home. The unit is beautiful with amazing views of the ocean and the sunset! We also appreciate the little things like your beach chairs and umbrella to spend the day at the beach! Although the spalling was a bit noisy when inside, we were off on our adventures during most of the working hours. We will be back, hopefully very soon!

The property was exactly as it was listed. The condo was well equipped. There was scaffolding and construction on both front and back of the unit however, they did not block our view on the ocean side, the noise wasn't bad and the construction workers were very respectful. The construction was posted in the listing so it wasn't a surprise. We would definitely rent again. Thanks for a great stay.

I was originally planning to stay at one of the famed hotels. A friend recommended VRBO and John’s property really stood out for me: the location, views, and the condo itself. All the high quality reviews mentioned are accurate. Just an incredible stay, an incredible experience to wake up to the ocean waves and scenery, go out and do our activities, sometimes stay in due to the heat and relax in the condo, and then return back in time for the unique always changing sunset. I should mention the condo is well packed worth all the cookware and kitchen pieces you would need so occasional cooking helped a lot. Thank you so much to Judith and his team! We loved our stay so much we plan to return no matter what our activities our in Maui.

Stay was good. I appreciated the owner contacting me about work being done on the building. It was quite loud during the day since they were also working on the condo next door that shared a wall so a lot of vibrating. Views great as always and condo was well stocked for cooking. Would stay there again after work is completed.

Such a lovely place to stay. Very clean. The view was terrific, turtle and dolphin watching from the lanai, couldn't get enough of that ocean view. Location was good, we were close to places to eat, Duke's of Maui, food truck park and stores. Snorkeling off the beach nearby was a plus. Communication before the stay was clear. Hope to be back.

This was our first visit to amazing Hawaii. Our condo was just perfect., really homey. We did most of our cooking here so it was very nice to see that it was completely stocked with everything but food (and the Times Market was 1/2 mile away).
