The Property Manager, Karina, was not only fantastic she really went above and beyond for us. For that alone this was the best place I have ever stayed in my life. During the recent wild fires Karina kept us fully informed of our safety and told us to be ready and where to go if evacuated. I felt comfort knowing that she was looking out for us and keeping us updated throughout the night even though she had her own family to also worry about. When our flights were canceled, Karina worked with us to continue to stay on her property until we were safe….for free!! I can’t repay her kindness for keeping my family out of harms way during that tragedy. I’m so thankful for her.
The rental property was simply amazing. Great location, very clean and well stocked, tons of amenities like a two full size bathrooms, bath and beach towels, bedding, beach equipment, fully stocked kitchen, washer /dryer. We traveled with an infant so there was also a portable crib and high chair seat for us to use.
The property was also very plentiful, huge pool and hot tub area, snorkel by the day or week rentals, outside showers, BBQ areas, beautiful landscaping, 5 min walk to the beach and 10 minute walk to the start of local restaurants and shops.
Karina and her property really made our vacation memorable! I can’t wait to return to her property again.

Unfortunately, they were redoing Kihei road while we were there, so the street being closed and the tar smell was not what we would have liked, but outside of that we had a great time. The condo was clean and very spacious. A little warm at times, but nothing we couldn't survive with the fans provided!

Great location, close to everything including the beach! Karina promptly responded to questions once we were checked in. The property grounds are meticulously maintained. AC downstairs, bedroom and industrial fan in the loft kept us comfortable at night. Most importantly, WIFI was strong enough for all our devices. Will definitely stay here again!

Flawless process and stay. Great location to easily drive to other parts of the island. The condo was clean, comfy and quiet. The condo grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed the pool too. Grab your coffee and walk across the street to the beach to watch the turtles in the morning! Gals at the front office were super sweet and helpful.

For me this was the perfect place to stay in Maui. Views, clean and a great owner at a reasonable cost.
I have been to Maui 8 times and this is the best property I have stayed at. Karina is responsive and was willing to accommodate me when a temporary emergency occurred. When a minor hiccup occurred with the management company she stepped in even though she was at a family event. The unit itself was spotless and had plenty of room for my family of 5 including three teens. Everything we needed was there boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkel equipment etc. definitely coming back here if Karina will have us!

Condo was lovely and the folks who own it are lovely. There were plenty of cooking utensils and beach toys available. The pool was crowded compared to other facilities we’ve stayed at and despite the description, there is no kiddie pool area (shallowest part is over 3 ft). Also, there is only 1 box AC in living room which frankly is just insufficient to cool the bedrooms at all. That said, the house was quite nice and we enjoyed all the staff working there. The front garden is lovely and the place was quiet.

Here to celebrate a family milestone birthday and it was so worth it! The sea, sun and general beauty of Maui was great for everyone’s mental health as this pandemic rages on!
Our son, daughter in law and 16 month old stayed in this unit. It worked well as they were able to block off the spiral stairwell. For older or more rambunctious toddlers/kids this stairwell could be problematic but you would have to decide! It worked for our stage of life!
Easy stroll to the beach! If you don’t bring a stroller you can rent one locally!

Aloha is what you feel AND experience when visiting this space. My family and I had a wonderful time watching sunsets from the lanai, Having morning coffee, resting in comfy beds, walking across the street for some sun fun on the beach 🏖 basically you won’t be disappointed, at least we weren’t 😉

Everything is good overall. Recommendation: bottom floor bedroom beds are creaking very bad. It’s time to replace. Knife set needs to be sharpened or replaced. Curtain is deteriorated. Nicer to have instant coffee or tea. Spice for kitchen need to be refilled.
We enjoyed our time in Maui. Above is just few recommendations but we get around with it. It does not bothering us at all.

The house was clean and comfortable. It contained everything we needed for our extended stay. It was in a great location near the beach and near some stores and restaurants yet not in the city. Pool was great. Grill stations were super. I'd return here without any hesitation.

Karina is such an amazing owner! My daughter has an allergy to a laundry detergent and she made sure that the towels and shirts weren't washed and dried with this detergent. We had a small issue (electrical outlet) and she was very quick to fix the issue.
This property has an amazing view from the lanai and it is very quiet and peaceful in her condo. There is about any kitchen item you can think of..including an instant pot and keurig! The place was spotless, huge, comfortable, secure and safe. The beach closet is VERY well stocked and this really just felt like a home away from home. I WILL be staying here again.

The property was clean, well-maintained, spacious enough for six people, and with all the amenities we needed. Loved our location. Beach right across the street was lovely as were two more beaches just down the road. Also drove to a beach in Wailea for a change in our routine! Went to the Friday Street Party in Makawao, drove to Lahaina and on our way stopped for lunch at Leoda's (best pies ever!), good food and music at Charley's, did the tour of the Road to Hana with a fantastic driver/guide named Jamie. Karina , our host, was exceptional!! Extremely helpful and informative, considerate, and accessible. When we had an issue with the fridge she took care of it immediately! I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning a holiday to Maui!!

Just Awesome!
Over the years we have stayed in many different complexes. Kamaole Sands, in our opinion, is by far the most enjoyable and pleasant condo complex in South Kihei. It is perfect for couples, families and even families with young children.
This year we stayed with our daughter and our first grandchild. What an amazing vacation we’ve had.
For starts, it was easy and pleasant to deal with Karina… the owner. She answered all our questions and then some. “Always happy to help” as she always says. The condo was exactly how she had described it and just like the photos. The condo was BEAUTIFUL, SPACIOUS and SUPER CLEAN…. with a first time mom and her little one we were picky. The kitchen was fully equipped and very convenient. I have nothing but good things to say about our whole experience…. The condo, the pool, the grounds the staff and Karina too. Outside the condo, Maui is a beautiful playground for all. We had a quiet vacation by choice and enjoyed relaxing on the pristine beaches near by. We walked to dinner and shops. Maui is by far my favorite place.
We are coming back and I will recommend Maui and this particular condo to all of our friends one hundred percent sure that they will be very happy with it too.

We stayed in Kamaole Sands Condo for 7 nights and had a blast! Everything was so easy and there was nothing else we could have wished for our stay in Maui. The owners, Mark and Karina, are so friendly and attentive. They responded to every little question we had when booking their condo. My husband and I are from Germany and had a lot of questions regarding our trip and stay in Karina's condo.
Their condo is a sanctuary in touristy South Kihei, so quiet and just a two minute walk from the beach called Kam III. Shops, restaurants, Beach parks are in walking distance. The interior design with furniture, paintings, decoration and the kitchen are classy and comfortable. We felt home right away and didn't want to leave. The view from the Lanai (balcony) was stunning.. We could see the whales jump and breach while we were having breakfast!!
The condo was spacious and very clean. Perfect for families or two couples. We spent more time eating in than out, because the kitchen had all utensils we needed and we could have wished for ...and we love to cook!
The bedrooms are beautiful (beds were so comfortable, no noise in the morning or night), the bathrooms well designed and really clean.
I absolutely agree on Andrea's review - this condo has everything you can wish for and is a real home away from home!! I cannot promote this one negative review they received. Everything has been very clean and organized.
I myself work in the hospitality business and tend to be critical, all I can say is that I was highly content with the condo. It met all our expectations and I recommend this condo if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable and convenient place close to pool, ocean, activities, sights and nature.
We are already planning our next stay on Maui for the summer and definitely book this condo again! Thank you, Karina. We are looking forward to meet you and your wonderful family again! Aloha from Germany!

I am writing to express my disappointment and outrage at that horrible, negative review from Kellie? So sorry, Karina. Your condo is so perfect and beautiful. Which is why we are returning next year. It was as I've said, perfect in every way for our family. We didn't want for anything. It was VERY clean, fully stocked and everything was in 'it's' place. Everything was easily accessible and I just don't understand how anyone could not be MORE than satisfied. Spotless, lots of bedding, towels, kitchen supplies, beach toys, it's endless. It was quiet, airy, centrally located. Good parking. The pool and hot tub area were very clean, well tended and wonderful, too. It was a home away from home for us. We only needed groceries. You can't please everyone. How unfortunate. Please don't let one nasty 'review' discourage you. We will return every year if we can. Couldn't ask for better. I recommend it constantly! Maybe they should find a Ritz or 4 Seasons next time. Perhaps that would be more sufficient. Wow! Lol. Your place is gorgeous in every way. We'll be there soon!! I'm half packed and very excited. :)

Super condo, all the amendities! Perfect for our buzzing family of six. The lanai was large, with an excellent view of the ocean. The apartment was stocked with boogie boards, towels, and fun toys for the beach! The entire apartment was very well decorated and extremely clean. We loved the kitchen! Bathrooms were modern and very clean! The walk to the beach was less than 5 mins! Thanks Karina!! :)

The owner is very communicative and personal. I felt like that I have known Karina many many years even I have never met her. The condo staffs are friendly and very helpful, too. Yes, the place, both property and unit, is very nicely done. Clean, comfortable, and stylish!
The kitchen amenities are up to my standards. Dish/Laundry soaps are provided. Water toys are there to use. We enjoyed snorkeling at Kamaole III beach; many fish at 4-6 feet depth, spotted a turtle on the right side of the beach (Kamaole point?) Bring your own masks and snorkels; we borrowed the fins from the condo. Ono Gelato and Maui Gelato (same owner) were very good, especially "Lilikoi goat cheese" and "Basil" ones. We found a green mango on the ground at the property and it was the sweetest mango we ever had. Our young kids and teen enjoyed the pools (about 80F) and spa, also in-room WiFi. The lobby has few PCs and a printer; you can print your boarding pass. BBQ grills were nice and clean; just you need to carry everything to the BBQ place.
We would like to come back, not just because the place is nice but because of the owner. Thank you very much, Karina!

We had such a fantastic time in Maui and loved our condo! It had absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen is completely stocked and there are lots of beach toys, chairs, coolers, towels, etc. We didn't want for anything. Lovely views of the ocean and mountain from the lanai. We really enjoyed the pool, as well. We would go back in a heartbeat and stay at this beautiful condo. The owners are so kind and helpful. I will recommend this place to anyone that wants to go to Maui. It was one of the best vacations we ever had and having such a great place to stay made it that much easier and enjoyable! What can I say about Maui other than we absolutely LOVED IT and we can't wait to return! This condo is awesome! Well equipped and beautifully decorated, the kitchen has everything you need with top of the line appliances. We hosted many dinners for our family of 10 here. Karina is excellent to deal with, went out of her way for our requests from the time we booked to the time of our stay and then some. Spent many mornings on the lanai sipping coffee with an ocean view and evenings relaxing. This condo is situated at the back of the property at Kamaole Sands, however you will get sun on the lanai for the entire day and a beautiful ocean view of Kam III beach. The property itself is well maintained, extremely clean, and excellent location. The pool area is fantastic and a short walk from this building. Kam III beach is absolutely gorgeous, nicest beach I've ever seen. We are divers, we did a shore dive in Wailea and then snorkelled the rest of the duration. I recommend dealing with Scuba Shack to rent dive gear or snorkelling gear. Plenty to do in Maui, so much we couldn't do it all in two weeks. I strongly recommend you thumb through the binder that Karina has in the condo. Very informative information and recommendations on where to eat and what to do. Cafe o Lei is recommended and I would highly recommend it as well, fantastic food and outstanding service anytime we went there to eat. The condo is also equipped with beach chairs, mats, boogie boards which we made well use of. Thanks Karina! We will be back :)

We were extremely happy with the condo and would recommend the unit to anyone travelling with kids. It was everything the photos represented and more. It was very clean, spacious, a great view with excellent amenities and was right across the street from the beach. We particularly enjoyed the beach accessories provided in the unit. The barbecue area was a nice relaxing area to sit and visit after a long day of enjoying the island. The owners were easy to deal with and answered any questions I had.

We stayed at this property November and December 2011 and it was amazing. The photos do not do justice on this piece of property. It was beyond our expectations from the great shower facility when coming in from the beach, to the fully complete chief's kitchen for prepping meals ( thank you for stocking a wide assortment of spices), to being able to sit on the lanai and take in the sunsets. Kamaolesands resort has lots to offer from its great location to the great beaches for snorkelling to boogie boarding or being a kid and making sand castles. The pools, jacuzzi tubs and grounds are well kept. The owners go way beyond, always very helpful with information on the island, to ensuring that their unit nothing BUT the BEST, and is like your home that you are away from. When on the island, enjoy and relax from visiting the Maui Oceon Center, to doing excursions in Lahani, to cycling the West side of Maui, to enjoying morning runs from the condo out past Wailea, to enjoying paradise. We look forward to returning to this place of piece and staying at this beautiful unit that we called home. Thanks to the owners, Mahola!!!!!

Choosing something on the internet can be slightly scary. Is the condo going to be what it looks like? Will we like where we are staying and will things go smoothly? I have to answer YES to all these questions. From the moment the decision was made to stay at 8-410 until our final farewell, it couldn't have been better. Karina was kind, gracious and extremely helpful from our first email to our last contact with her. The condo is actually better situated than I had thought. I was worried about being in building 8 at the back of the property. No need to fear. It was quiet, BBQ's very handy, the view was way...better than I had anticipated, the kitchen is to die for (every gourmand's dream). The unit is beautifully decorated and everything you need is there including WiFi. Loved not having to take keys with us each day the coded door is great. Nice furnishings, comfortable and very relaxing. There were even beach chairs and boogie boards. Dealing with Karina was a pleasure and she made sure our needs were met. We'd love to stay at 8-410 again, the sooner the better. Only small complaint is that the beds are pretty hard but that is the only thing. Fantastic holiday in a terrific condo. We've been to Maui lots but a couple highlights are the Maui Swap Meet on Saturdays at Maui College, restaurants 808 Bistro and Three's Bar and Grill. Thanks

We stayed in Mark and Karina's condo for 2 weeks in late November/early December. Our 3-year-old, 20-month-old, mother-in-law, and my wife and I were able to relax there with plenty of room. The kitchen was very nice - remodeled and clean, fully stocked with all the utensils/accoutrements you could ask for. The rest of the condo was very clean, with nice tiled floors. The bathrooms had very nice custom tiling and sinks. The location was great - right next to the Kamaole beaches, with plenty of inexpensive shops and restaurants in Kihei nearby. The resort is not crowded or rowdy, and the kiddie pool was very much appreciated.

We stayed at Karina's condo this July for a family reunion. The location was perfect! Right across from one of the best beaches. The condo had everything we needed and more. My parents stayed at another condo in the same complex and they didn't have the well equipped kitchen we had. The decor was lovely and up to date. My teens liked the spiral staircase. We had a parking spot but would often walk for sandwiches and fabulous hawaiian ice cream. Thank you for sharing your Maui home with us.

We had such a perfect time at this condo... the decor is impeccable and I loved the layout. Modern, yet homey... it surpassed all my expectations. The kitchen is better than mine at home! The pool and grounds are clean and so much fun for adults and kids... the beach is so close! Would definitely recomend this unit to anyone. I will be back the first chance I get! Really, no negatives on this condo to say!
