We had a wonderful time celebrating our grandson’s first birthday in Kauai. The location of the condo is superb. The view from the patio is amazing. Dolphins, turtles and those sunsets were spectacular. The layout of the condo is perfect for a family and the kitchen is well stocked and very functional. The condo is well loved and due for some updates. The patio is in need of repairs. The condo was dirty upon our arrival which was disappointing. We are looking forward to our next trip to Kauai

My wife and I stayed at the Pua Poa 12 years ago and I remembered the spacious lanais and spectacular views. This time we traveled with another couple (all of us seniors). The unit provided us everything we needed. The furnishings were outdated, but everything was neat and clean. We are not overly picky, but the only complaint would be that the lanai was in need of repair. There were several cracked tiles and weeds popping up between the tiles that housekeeping could have easily taken care of to make things more visually aesthetic . However, our focus is on the ocean and relaxation, so we easily got passed those issues. Overall we had a great time there.

The Pu'u Poa condos are the ideal location to stay on the north shore. We had the most beautiful ocean view, a pool, and a short climb down to Hideaways Beach. #305 had absolutely everything we needed to enjoy cooking at the condo and visiting the beaches. Such a well stocked condo! The lanai could use some maintenance and lighting, but you don't notice cracked tile when you are looking at the sunset.

We had a awesome stay! Everything was perfect! We love this location and this place was no exception! The unit is perfectly stocked even with coolers, beach chairs, towels and snorkel gear. Views are incredible! We even had massage therapist come and do massages on the patios! This was a girls trip with my best friends and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend and we will most definitely be back!!

We enjoyed our stay at this unit located in Pu'u Poa condos in Princeville, even if the weather didn't always cooperate. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen and grill allowed us to cook when we wanted. A closet full of beach supplies and close proximity to the public steps that lead down to Hanalei Bay were a nice touch.

This was just as pictured. Ocean view, sound of waves lulling you to sleep. All amenities needed to enjoy the island including beach chairs, ice chest, sunscreen, snorkel gear and so much more. Fully stocked kitchen if you want to prepare your own meals. A few negatives were that there was no beach access that we could locate , but no biggie, we just hopped in our car and drove to one and there are plenty of beautiful beaches to choose from. Also was bummed that I couldnt see a sunset, the mountain blocked it but I could catch a glimpse of it. The view, the amenities make up for it all and I would absolutely stay here again!

What a wonderful place to spend a few days on Kauai! The view from the patio is gorgeous and the kitchen is so well appointed that any gourmet cook would find all they need to cook a delicious meal. Excellent location in Princeville. Stunning views from throughout unit. It had everything we needed for beach adventure. Lovely private beach with great snorkeling just short trail hike down. Walk to beach in from of St Regis as well. Nicely decorated. Due to there being no air conditioning, it got really hot in there most days during the day, but would cool off for sleeping at night. Short stunning drive to Hanelei, where we went most nights for dinner Bc it's a lg drive to get anywhere else on island from princeville. This we were not prepared for. It forces us to spend most of our trip on north of island. However, it's also the most remote and gorgeous part of Kauai, so we knew what we were signing up for. Quiet and relaxing. Non touristy. No hustle and bustle. Paradise.

The apartment was excellent great location everything we needed was there the view was fantastic, shops were a short drive down the road or if you enjoy walking they are reachable by foot yes there was a few minor issues with one of the light fittings but overall the apartment met our expectations thankyou for allowing us to experience your treasured little area of this world we will be back in the future. Our experience was wonderful! The vacation was in a great location, easy to find, and get into, and you couldn't possibly beat that view! The vacation rental was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We would defienetly come back and stay again! We were able to get to the small beach town of Hanalei in minutes where we enjoyed stand up paddle boarding, restaurants and shopping. We were easily able to venture the entire island while we were there and would recommend for others.

Oh my, what a wonderful condo in Princeville! We loved every moment of our stay. The condo is well stocked with everything you need to cook (even salt, pepper, oil, red pepper flakes) or concoct frozen tropical drinks! The beds were wonderfully comfortable, the unit was quite peaceful as well and we loved falling asleep to the waves each night. The view is incredible and our favorite beach, Hideaways, is just a quick jaunt down the path (though pretty steep). I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a slice of paradise!

Beautiful, upscale third floor condo (but with just a few stairs)fully outfitted to meet the needs of any family. My husband and I stayed here a week in early March 2015 after having stayed in the same location two years ago. We loved the beautiful view from the lanais (there are two)to the ocean below where you can see whales spouting and playing as well as folks surfing from Hideaways Beach. We loved going to sleep to the roar of the waves. We loved our morning walks on the golf course path. Only updates we noticed was that there was a new couch in the living room and a new electric grill and that the bedroom carpeting had been cleaned. One of the sliders leaked in a rainstorm, so we notified management who notified the owner. Easy to book with the rental company. Price was reasonable for the quality of the accommodation and for the location. These condos sell for well over a million dollars each.

Worst condition of any unit we've rented on Kauai in the last 16 years. Multiple maintenance and service issues. Property management company's response to our calls regarding broken and non-functional items were only addressed after multiple calls over 304 days. Unit was filthy. Floor tile and grout in front of all sinks black, lanais covered in black and green mold, front door deadbolt lock didn't, master bedroom TV didn't work, no TV in second bedroom even though one was shown on owner and Re/Max websites, master bedroom BOSE system did not work, master bath shower head plugged up with calcium an couldn't be used, broken window crank, oven light burned out, refrigerator was not cold, even at highest setting, etc. etc. etc.

This was our 2nd stay here at this unit. Both times the place was well kept and clean. Photos shown are accurate of what to expect. We like the view from the deck and being lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean down below. We also like having carpets in the bedroom and living area since wearing shoes inside is discouraged. Only drawback was that the unit down below was currently being remodeled so we did hear construction noise. At least they were not there the entire day so we just went out when they were working. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property, particularly at this price point. Whether its the gourgeous sunsets, the amazing starry nights, quiet (almost private) beach below or the many amenities in the condo, everything was better than expected. We really enjoyed the ability to cook instead of eating out and this place literally has every gadget in the kitchen... I would also note that we found the electric grill sufficient for our needs. Very spacious living area and jacuzzi tub was a plus. We even locked ourselves out at one point but luckily there is a resident property manager. One recommendation would be to replace the front door lock and the sliding doors/screens as they have been worn over the years by the ocean salt. Working with an established realtor made the process seamless and, in my view, keeps the premises clean and up to date.

Our family of four (husband, wife, two teenage daughters) had a fabulous time on north shore of Kauai in Puu Poa #305. The unit has an amazing unobstructed view of the ocean! The unit is very comfortable, clean and spacious and is a great home base for exploring Kauai. We had a little trouble figuring out how to operate one of the ceiling fans and Angela with RE/Max helped us out immediately! The only things that might have made it even better would be better lighting in living room and master bath, and a few standard kitchen items for cooking, e.g. oil, vinegar, sugar, etc. Overall, we were very satisfied and would like to come back again someday!

Although I will say the property listing photos could definitely use an update, we were mostly satisfied with our stay in Puu Poa 305. The location and views are fantastic and ideal if you need to be in Princeville. The amenities were mostly as described with the exception of a coffee grinder we never found. The property was clean upon arrival, and the small interactions we had with management were fantastic. Overall we had a great trip and ended up spending a great deal of time in Hannalei as it was a quick hop away. For the price you really can't beat a stay here and we would gladly return.

THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The views, the accommodations themselves, and the location were all just perfect. Unlike some properties that manage to make a decent place look like a mansion, the pictures here don't do it justice. My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon and we will plan any future visits around the availability of this home. We enjoyed the location to Hideaways beach and got our full share of snorkeling in. They provided fun beach supplies as well, and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and pleanty of the basics for cooking. The only two things were weren't prepared for was the lack of air conditioning, which truly you do not need once the sun sets with the fans and windows open, and the washer was not working properly for our stay. Re/max went above and beyond to help us with that problem and took our laundry away to do it and brought it back within 12 hours. We could not have been happier about our stay and this place.

Wonderful location with absolutely grgeous and stunning views of the ocean and coast. Quiet comfortable home with easy access to nearby grocery stores and shopping. Kauai is a paradise and truly personifies the essence of all things Hawaii. Enjoy stunning sensets and grand ocean views. The beach, although a little hike away, is absolutely perfect for avid snorklers. The management is firendly and easily available, very courteous. Our family had a great time and cant wait to return to this island paradise. Mahalo!

This place is as nice as the photos suggest. We spent 5 nights in this lovely condo and couldn't have been happier. Plenty of room, beautiful furniture, well-appointed kitchen, very clean and, of course, a WONDERFUL vista and fantastic location. Would definitely go back!

We had a great experience. We were in town for a family wedding and this was a - 5-minute walk to the st. regis. Great space and very well stocked condo, plenty of room to host family happy hours and great amenities for families. We didn't need it but saw a pack'n'play and highchair. The kitchen had top quality pans and knives. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

This wasn’t our first visit to a Princeville, so we knew we were coming to Paradise. The rental has two lanais with direct bluff/ocean views overlooking Hanalei Bay and ‘Bali Hai.’ Large sliders brought the outside into the open plan, two level living/dining/kitchen area. We were anticipating company when we booked this space, but we wound up having more than enough space for just the two of us. This location is fabulous. We walked 3to 5miles every day, drove to Hanalei numerous times, toured towns al over Kauai, visited an active regenerative farm, visited the lighthouse and other sights, and had cocktails and many meals on our beautiful lanai.This unit has a fully stocked kitchen and two large bathrooms. Our only criticism would be that there is a light fixture in the guest bathroom that needs replacing, and the lack of light in that tub space would have made it very hard for people using that bathroom to bathe. That being said, the rental company was very responsive in trying to resolve the problem, and hopefully, the next guests won’t have to deal with that.We were rarely home during the daytime, or construction noise next door could have been an issue, but our contract had stated that this might be the case, so we were pleasantly surprised that the nose wasn’t constant. The weather was perfect the whole time and we would come back to this property in a heartbeat.

This was our second stay in these condos and our first in #305. The private entry opens into a spacious deck off the master, so you are able to listen to the sound of the crashing surf lull you to sleep. The furnishings are comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean as is the entire unit)The Kitchen is superbly stocked with every conceivable item you need to cook at home, all the while staring out to the open sea.The second deck is off the living area, very spacious with two loungers and a table to eat at . You WON’T want t eat anywhere else!The location is wonderful, just a short drive to Hanalei Bay village and Beach. I was prepared to say you cocudn’t ask for any more other than a few beach things, but half way through the stay, I opened a closet with anything you could want for a long day exploring the beaches, from boogie boards, to snorkeling equipment to coolers. If you want a luxurious, worry free escape in Princeville check out Rober’ts home. He was delightful to work with and the check in was seamless!Mahalo Robert

Started out really badly. The unit had obviously not been rented out in a very long time (probably due to Covid), and was in need of repair and updating. There was no bbq as pictured, the kitchen faucet did not provide hot water, the chairs for table were broken (seats broken on 3 of the 6 chairs), tiles broken on both patios, patios not cleaned. After sending a list of these and other items, the office did provide a new bbq, replaced faucet in kitchen, and repaired bathtub. This was not our first experience with VRBO, but was certainly the worst. After the repairs were made, we did enjoy the rest of the time there. Love the views! Recommend owners do some major updating and repairs if they want to get the kind of money they are charging. I would come back to the property, but not this unit unless it was updated and repaired.

10 easy but went quickly to a 5 in that the pillows...
most were moldy some disgustingly so..to the point we put towels over them....a shame since its a inch that gets a mile. !
and such a great location !..and we marveled at the kitchenware !! stunned may be a better word for how awesome the kitchen was but the weirdo mildewed pillows you leaned against and put your head on..gross....and you'll hear "Kauai is really wet"...bla bla bla . cheap excuse if thats the excuse

We actually hated this place. The pictures must have been taken 20+ years ago and the condo has not aged well and has not been updated since. The ceiling fans had a two month old coating of dust on them and we wouldn't use any of the individual fans because of the dust attached to them. Both lanais had a heavy layer of mold between the window panes. The coolers and beach items were in disrepair and the hot water was virtually non-existent in the hallway shower, which was also heavily stained. The kitchen window had a paper towel wedged into the top and my husband had to jerry-rig a hanger to keep the window closed. Management was contacted and sent someone to take apart and clean the fans and I was also told that getting to the mold in between the glass partitions "is very difficult to clean". I was also told that the stains on the shower "are now indelible" and that Remax would suggest regrouting to the owner and that the Puu Poa units "have smaller hot water heater tanks". We actually left the unit at the midpoint of our stay and found a much much nicer place to stay. Remax would not refund our money for our unused nights, which they should have because the unit had not been properly maintained. For the money spent, there are so many better places to stay (including your car). A serious disappointment.

We really enjoyed our time in the condo. Very spacious. A little outdated but it was comfortable, clean and the washer/dryer was fantastic! Such a relief to come home to after a big day hiking or on the beach.
Access to the private beach is nerve-wracking. My husband and I are in decent shape but it is a tough walk up and down. It's muddy, has a very steep incline and you need both hands to hold on to ropes to get up and down. (I'm guessing this happened bc of flooding that occurred on the island). I also think there may be another way to get to the beach that we weren't aware of - so ask. I'd recommend walking through the Princeville Hotel (formerly St Regis) to access their beach - it's public so don't feel weird about it.

The only problem we had was there was no air conditioning. It was hard to cool off in the late afternoons. Even with the fans and doors all open. I know air conditioning isn’t that common but when we come back we will definitely find a condo with a/c. After a hot day at the beach it would have been nice to come home to a nice cool Place but instead we were miserable! We used the oven to bake a pizza one night and couldn’t cool the place down til the next morning. So yes investing in some window ac units might benefit this place a ton! The view was pretty, it was clean and they came right away and dropped off a new propane tank to grill with.

We stayed in the Puu Poa condos for 5nights in December during Xmas. The condo is an excellent location, excellent ocean views. Surf out the front, close to local shops, Hanelai Bay. The condo was extremely well appointed, with everything we could ever need. Very, clean, spacious and tidy. We had a minor issue with the TV however management staff responded immediately and resolved the issue. I would highly recommend 305 Puu Poa. We look forward to returning again some day. Thank you

We decided on a "stay vacation" at Puu Poa #305 and our 10 days far exceeded our expectations for the rental was just perfect. It was conveniently located in on the property with only a few stairs up to the entrance door. The interior was immaculate and well appointed. Our kitchen had every appliance one could think of and the views of the ocean and Mt. Makana were so delightful - one views the ocean from the living/dining/bedroom and sitting out on the lanai was a special treat early in the morning. I cannot thank the management staff enough for all their assistance and professionalism.
