The Space:

The kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, oven, and dishwasher, with a dining area for easy meals. Air conditioning and ceiling fans help after a sunny day, while the living room brings cable TV, a DVD player, and board games for a relaxed night in.
Guest Access:
Guests at Kihei Ali'i Kai enjoy access to the shared pool and hot tub, plus an elevator and beach access just across the street. The grounds include gardens and outdoor seating, with disabled parking available on site.
The Neighborhood:
This stretch of South Kihei is built for an unhurried beach day. The shoreline is across the street, and South Kihei Road puts casual dining, coffee, and shops within an easy walk. Kamaole Beach Parks II and III are nearby for swimming, boogie boarding, and a long sunset walk, while Kalama Park adds open lawns and courts to the mix. Drive south for the beaches and restaurants of Wailea, or stay close and let the day move between sand, pool, and dinner. It suits couples who value walkability and families who do not want every outing to begin in the car.
Getting Around:
Kahului Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive down Maui's sunny south shore. A rental car is recommended to make the most of Kihei's many beaches, shops, and restaurants spread along the coast. Some stretches near South Kihei Road are walkable to dining and shopping, while beaches are often just minutes away. Parking is typically available on site, in lots, or along nearby streets.

The cooling equipment from the near by buildings created a constant noise which made sitting on the lanai less than pleasant. Condo was a little dated but very clean and functional.

Great location, clean and well stocked condo. Numerous cafes and fine dining choices within a couple blocks. A Natural grocery store a block away. Loved sitting on the patio in the morning watching the roosters, hens and chicks. Listening to a choir of birds while having our morning coffee. The living room TV is very small for todays standards. The plus on the ocean view is you are actually looking at the parking lot, dumpster and smoking bench while the view shown online pic is edited to only show the small peek of ocean. Location and condo were top notch but we will opt for oceanfront next visit. Vacasa was excellent to work with.

The condo was clean and well stocked. Beautiful white sand beach right across the street. Numerous places to eat from cafes to fine dining within a couple blocks. We saw the whales from the beach every day. Mornings on the patio we were entertained by the roosters, hens and baby chicks, while listening to a choir of singing birds. Negatives were the view is actually of the parking lot, dumpster and smoking bench with a small view of the ocean over the building in front. The picture on the site edited to only show the ocean. Super disappointed about that. The TV is very small for a standard living room TV. Overall great condo and location. We will opt for oceanfront on our next visit. Vacasa was wonderful to work with.
