Beautiful tropical oasis right in the heart of Poipu.We had an awesome time staying here and Kevin was such a great host. Quick drive to so many locations. We caught the sunrise and sunset at shipwreck beach which was only a short walk away. After a long day of hiking the the jacuzzi was a nice way to relax. We hope to visit again soon. Thanks Kevin!

This is not a hotel. One bedroom with kitchen in closet. Tiny private garden. BUT 2 mins walk to conference (next door property) and owner available 24/7, garage with beach chairs, sun umbrellas and coolers a big plus. Parking is on the road. Do not park under tree-bird pooped often on my white rental. I needed a stool to reach cooking appliances in closet (shelf starting to sag) and just forgo cooking and ate leftovers the next day. Property with koi fish ponds has tropical touch, very charming.

Kevin is an amazing host! He was very responsive to any questions we had and his property is incredible. Our suite was well appointed and had everything we needed for a comfortable week long stay. Studio room- well appointed and comfortable- everything you need! Short walk on a nice path to the beach. We enjoyed our time here and if retuning to Poipu we will consider staying here again.

The property is in a great location in the south part of Kauai. The room is well equipped with a fridge, microwave and hot plate and everything you need to make coffee and light meals but you’re close enough to many restaurants you can walk to. Kevin is helpful with local information and provided beach accessories that made going to the beach easy and fun.

This was a beautiful place to stay, inside and out. Very peaceful. Outdoor area had great seating areas and the koi pond was beautiful. We loved the sound of the water running into it outside our unit. Unit was supplied well and was super clean. Owner was super nice and easy to be around. Outdoor shower needs some work. It was great having access to a washer and dryer.

My husband and I stayed at this property for a week. We were able to enjoy the entire island with day trips from this gorgeous home.
So nice to stay at one place for the whole trip.
Kevin the host was terrific and answered all of our questions and made sure that we were enjoying our stay.

This property is relaxing, beautifully landscaped and within walking distance to numerous activities. There’s a great walking path in the neighborhood that leads to a few different beaches, a hiking trail, and several restaurants. We appreciated having access to a washer/dryer. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

Very well maintained property. We typically stay in different places each time we visit, but we might have to return to this one! The room is clean, and looks just like it does in the photos. We only used the hot tub one night, but it was clean and very relaxing. Quality of the furnishings and supplies were great. Boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler - all good. We don’t spend a lot of time where we stay when we vacation, it’s usually about the adventures for us. But, I found myself enjoying lazy mornings sitting outside and enjoying the koi pond and lush atmosphere. Kevin was a great host and has created a welcoming, restful place to spend a week.

Owner lives on site is friendly and helpful. Loans out beach gear which is so helpful ! Great location. No AC which wasn’t an issue for us but be aware. Amazing shower, Comfy bed . Beautiful gardens on property. Walkable area super close to Hyatt resort . Walkable to beaches. Garden is beautifully maintained and relaxing to sit by water and koi pond. Nice place to stay on poipu.

To our delight, the garden outside our sliding doors was even more well-manicured the inviting than on our first visit. We also enjoyed seeing how fat and sassy the koi had gotten. The pictures on the listing do not do justice to the warm, inviting atmosphere, and the safe, cozy feeling of the gardens here. We were really able to relax and rest. It was super!

We stayed in the Sunset Suite, a warm room with a comfortable bed and sliding doors opening to lush quiet garden. A great location, with the beach just a few minutes walk, and the historic town of Koloa about a 5 to 10 minute drive. It is also located next to the Grand Hyatt Hotel where we made use of the pool and often had breakfast overlooking the ocean. Plenty of beach gear available for our use was a nice surprise. The hot tub is a great amenity, especially after a long day of hiking the island.
I should note that while the garden seems private it is actually "semi" private. Once when we came back from the beach a gardener was in the garden cutting down some plants and picking fruit. It would have been nice to have had some forewarning of that. Other than that one incident, overall, we loved the suite. Kevin, the owner, was accommodating and welcoming. We'd definitely stay there again.

The property is beautiful with koi ponds & amazing Hawaiian vegetation & a very nice courtyard.
The unit makes maximum use of what first seems a bit on the small side, but it is well equipped, has a very comfortable bed & a private sitting area out back.
Kevin lives in the main house & being from BC, we had a lot to talk about & he was very helpful with suggestions about where to go & where to eat.
Would definitely recommend this place!

We visited Kauai for a week to attend a wedding. What a wonderful place to stay away from the celebrations. The condo was clean, quiet and very well appointed! The owner is as friendly as can be and made sure we had everything we needed. The location is so central to everything you would want to do. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

The property was beautiful! Our room was equipped with a large-ish fridge, microwave, and several other countertop cooking appliances. Our host was available 24/7! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was HUGE! Definitely recommend staying here (:

The unit and property were as described in the listing, and everything went very smoothly. Kevin the host was very kind and helpful with recommendations. There were also a lot of beach and water gear/equipment in the garage that he let us use (snorkels, fins, boards, chairs, coolers, etc etc). Laundry on site was also a great addition. The unit has all the cooking supplies you’d need too. Very well thought out and equipped. Would definitely return. Thank you Kevin!

Enchanted by the picture of gardens and Koi on the sight we booked for a weeklong birthday getaway. Getting there felt immediately embraced by a soothing environment much more delicious than it had seemed in the pictures. We were able to relax, have fun, and sit and think.
