This place was amazing! We were convenient to every place we wanted to go on the island. We could easily get to Waimea and beat the crowds, to Sleeping Giant for a sunrise hike, and it was an easy drive to the north side to spend time at Anini Beach. The view is amazing, and we looked forward to coming back each evening to watch the sun set over the mountains.

The house fit our family of 9 beautifully-lots of space to spread out & be comfy! Our family typically prefers eating in & this kitchen was ideal for that. It was well stocked to accommodate lots of cooking-plus lots of extra garbage bags & dishwasher pods helped, too. Loved the fabulous view & watching the sea turtles right below - even saw some stingrays & spinner dolphins! Both the host & manager were wonderful to respond quickly or answer any of our questions.

We loved this condo....a private bedroom for each of us (3) great views off the balconies...sea turtles, surfers, the bay and beach, rainbows everyday before us, perfect location: could walk to a variety of restaurants, shopping, booked the Royal Sonesta Resort pool when needed, beach just a short walk away and plenty of chairs, etc for lugging to the beach....great stay for our 70th birthdays!

We had a wonderful time during our stay at this beautiful property! The location was perfect! The views were amazing!! The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed to be comfortable. The beds were super comfy! The only issue we had was upon arrival we were notified that the air conditioning was broken in the main part of the house but they had already set up 2 portable units to keep things cool so it wasn’t bad at all. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay with our family here in Lihue. It was a centralized location to be able to get out and explore the island, but still had walkable restaurants, gym(KAC), and the beach. The space was perfect as each room had its own onsuite bathroom which allowed for some privacy when needed. Kendra was great and accommodating! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience- oh and that view!!!

We love staying at this location - I have rented this spot three times. The location of the property cannot be beat - it is central to everything one may want to do on Kauai, but also has plenty of local/walkable amenities. The living space is a great place to spend time with family with a large amount of space, wide open windows and views. Louise and Kendra are responsive to any issues that may arise.

This property was absolutely wonderful! The views were stunning and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It was lovely being able to walk down to the beach and the access to all their beach toys was lovely. I do wish there was a remote for the garage to be able to pull in & out of with ease instead of having to jump out of the car to run and open/close the garage. And oddly enough non of the slider doors seemed to lock but we felt safe enough that we didn’t let it bother us too much. Overall, I would 100% stay here again! It was absolutely amazing!

The property was amazing! Very spacious for a family of 7, great views, walking distance to the beach, modern and clean. The beach was kid friendly as it was protected by a barrier. This beautiful condo is perfectly located with access to a pretty beach, a golf course, great food and long walking paths. We loved every minute of our stay. The location is great for exploring the whole island. The condo itself is modern, spacious and has every amenity you need. Huge bathrooms, bedrooms and tall ceilings with a lovely view of the beach, an active harbor and nearby mountains. We enjoyed our too brief family vacation and would love to return!

Certainly the views from the house are its biggest highlight--they are spectacular over Kalapaki Bay and the mountains...just gorgeous. We enjoyed the airiness of the house and its proximity to the beach. The mid-stay cleaning was very good. The pots and pans in the kitchen could use an upgrade and there were some areas in the house that were not so clean when we arrived. The shades in the bedrooms filter the light just minimally so that could be an issue for some, but waking up to the sound of the ocean was a joy. Depending on the wind, the planes flying in and out of Lihue can sometimes be clearly heard at night. We enjoyed our time in the house and can recommend it!

This was our second stay at this property. Louise and Kendra are super helpful. The property is super clean, modern and any issues that popped up were addressed promptly. The location is perfect, close to the airport, walking distance to beach and restaurants, short drive to costco and safeway, and equidistant driving to either side of the island for any activities you may want to do for your visit.

There are only a few homes from which you can enjoy an expansive view of Nawiliwili bay and beach. And so close to walk to everything as if you were at the resorts. The home is amazing on its own too. Luxurious and comfortable. Spacious for 3 generations to spread around.

The home itself was beautiful. Attention to detail was on point. The little extras made it so much easier -things like having a cooler, beach towels and wagon for all the the chairs and beach fun. There was enough space for the teenagers to be teenagers and us to be adults!! The bartenders at the resort below were amazing and we felt welcomed everywhere we went. ABC in walking distance and Walmart and Instacart deliver! The home was so clean and Louise and Kendra answerd every question we had promptly. Would stay here again!!

This home is was perfect in every way- Location, beauty, responsiveness of owner and perfect amenities for a relaxing and wonderful first trip to Kauai. The pictures truly represent the property and the view is even better than expected. We especially loved watching the surfers and spotting sting rays and sea turtles from the balconies while drinking our morning coffee. The only problem was that we didn’t stay long enough. As a family with older kids (late teens to early 20s) we need space, privacy, extra bathrooms and a solid common area to hang. This place provides it all. Additionally, the central location in Lihue makes it very easy to make last minute decisions to head north to Princeville or south to Waimea. Also, the direct access to the beach from the elevator at the end of the sidewalk is such an amazing way to end the day.
The owner and property management folks are both great to work with as well.
We have stayed a total of 16 nights in this place (8 recently in July 2023 plus 8 under a different owner in 2019) and it is just amazing. I highly recommend it!

Overlooking the bay at Nawiliwili is this condo with huge bedrooms and bathrooms. Giant kitchen area and the facility is on four levels with three balconies and a beautiful view of the ocean and cruise port. Easy to get to all points on the island. Challenging golf course nearby. We had Grandpa, uncle, two families with teenagers and a 6 year old. Everyone enjoyed the place.

Highly recommend this home - everything was as described and the views were fantastic. Very spacious home, we had 8 adults and 2 children. We did have to be a little careful with the 1 year old since she was crawling around and there are lots of stairs. The location is great, just 5 minutes from the airport and a 5 minute walk to get to the beach or a nice walk to the Timbers resort/lighthouse area. The elevator to the beach right outside of the neighborhood is convenient but there are only stairs, no ramp so keep that in mind if you have a wagon or stroller. Not an issue if you have others walking with you but tough alone. Also, there were beach/water friendly items we could use stored in the garage. Host was very responsive to any questions that we had. Again, highly recommend!

The upper bedroom is set back, with a closable divider, overlooking the kitchen and sharing the view from the living room. The lower two bedrooms are very private, with their own walkout decks. This property is strategically located with the best view of the entire beach, within short walking distance of the beach and resort. There is also a huge athletic club 5 min away where we were able to get a short term punch card. The house is gorgeous and so serene. Communication with the property manager was super fast and so helpful! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Kauai!!!!!! Thank you!

I reached out to Louise the week before our trip regarding check in process because I missed the email and she was very responsive. We arrived after 7 pm, so driving there was a bit confusing in the dark. We got lost and made a few wrong turns, drove past the gate without realizing it. Once we got to the property, it was spacious and clean. We didn’t realize how amazing the views were until the next morning. On the kitchen island, there was a binder of activities and eatery recommendations. We traveled with 7 adults and 3 kids to celebrate my 40th birthday! Property is walking distance to the beach though the water isn’t as clear as beach in south shore/Poipu area. Close to airport and Costco, which is definitely a bonus. We were able to sho ad Costco after we landed and cooked most of the meals there. My mom and aunt ate their breakfast outside while enjoying their ocean view everyday. It rained while we were there 10/24-10/28, but it didn’t stop us from being outdoor!! If you’re debating about booking, look no further. You will love this place.

The location and accommodations are absolutely world class! Extremely beautiful vista! My wife and I have been to Kauai multiple times and Kalapaki Bay has it all for us. From gorgeous sunsets, to easy beach access to about as central as one can get to everything Kauai has to offer. The owner is also extremely responsive to any questions and needs that may arise. I would highly recommend!

This property exceeded expectations. I was a little concerned that the overall price was so high, yet it is totally worth it if you stay for a few days. The nightly price is extremely reasonable for the location, amenities, design and most of all the view.
Mostly what added to the final cost of the stay was the cleaning fee. Yet, when you see the architecture, design, kitchen, bathroom, furniture, etc. you will understand why. When we checked in, the place was immaculate. I got to meet the property manager who has been managing that place through several owners, and she was amazing. Very personable and friendly. She responded to my messages on email and text right away throughout our stay.
The owner was also very responsive and friendly via email as well. She made the check in process extremely simple and there were zero issues.
The property is only 5 minutes from the airport, 10 minutes from everything else in Lihue, and 2 minutes from Hokuala golf course. You can also walk to Kalapaki beach in about 7 minutes, yet you literally have a birds eye view of the entire beach.
I will definitely stay here again.

The unit itself was very nice. The pictures are pretty accurate in that it's very modern/contemporary with great views. However, the biggest downfall and reason why I would not stay here again is that the main a/c unit that covered the living room (where was gathered for most of the time and the upper bedroom) was uncomfortable and VERY HOT. They have a nest unit and it was not possible to turn it down below 72 degrees due to locked settings, which would have been fine if we could have held it at that temperature. However, it would randomly turn off (or set itself to 88 degrees) in the middle of the night and at random times during the day. The nest had a lock which prevented us from changing the temperature schedule or holding it at a steady temperature. I reached out to Kevin to ask if he can provide us the unlock code or at least hold the temperature at a steady 72 degrees. He apparently tried to provide the unlock code, but was not able to despite having given him directions listed on Nest's website (I tested this on a friend's Nest unit and it was simple to do so). Regardless if he was able to provide the unlock code or not, it was uncomfortable during the entire stay. Again, we would wake up in the middle of the night because it would become very hot. Or we would come back from the beach and come to a unit that is scorching hot. Even if we drop the temperature as soon as we came back, it would take forever to cool down due to the floor to ceiling windows (which we loved, but obviously caused the unit to overheat). Some other things that we did not like about the unit due to lack of general maintenance:
1) The main microwave was broken, so we had to go down to the bottom floor to re-heat food.
2) A lot of the light bulbs were out, which made the rooms dark. The half bath didn't have any lights. Note: we did find some spare bulbs during the last night of our stay, but due to the high ceilings, it wouldn't have been possible to replace.
3) The bottom floor bedroom had missing window shades, which meant that you would wake up at 5am due to the bright sunlight.
4) Overall, the views were gorgeous, but you are facing a dock where shipping boats/containers and cruise ships do dock for most of the time (at least during our stay). Minor, but the pictures didn't capture this.

The views are absolutely stunning with the giant pocket windows. Our host, owner Kevin Hense was very friendly and he responded quickly to our questions and needs. We will be back. We loved everything about this property. Our goal was to find a place that was large enough for our adult children to have a space of their own (5 total guests). The layout of the house delivered beautifully. It’s even more beautiful than the photos and very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed when we opted to eat at home which we generally did for 2 of 3 daily meals. We had everything we needed to enjoy the beach, and it was an easy walk. Moreover, we loved having so many dining options that we could walk to each evening versus having to drive somewhere. The house was in a wonderful location to get around the entire island easily. We never had to contact Kevin or the local property manager as we never had any issues. Kevin’s welcome email told us everything we needed to know and we referenced it often. Thank you for sharing your stunning home with us. We can’t wait to come back.

I can’t say enough good things about this home. It is even more beautiful than the pictures show. We had 5 adults and were very comfortable with three bedroom suites. The extra half bath near the main living area was especially appreciated. The view and location can’t be beat.
Check in was very smooth. The house manager, Kendra, is so friendly and helpful. She made sure the house was sparkling clean.

This is a beautiful property that is exactly as listed. The owner, Kevin, was quick to respond to me about a few minor questions during the first few days, which we appreciated very much. The location is fabulous in Lihue and is a short walk and elevator ride down to the beach. The resort access is not free, it is $50 a day, but we discovered a day rate was much more cost effective for the group of 6 we had so we did that one of the days were were there and it was great ($200.) The beds are comfortable and the view cannot be beat! For those that may worry about the proximity to the airport... we were there for 7 nights and we may have heard airplanes 2 or 3 times and it wasn't loud. It is amazing how the location is literally 5 minutes from this condo and you will not be bothered by air traffic noise at all. The same cannot be said for the Sonesta resort on the each adjacent to this condo... the one day we spent there, albeit lovely, we endured helicopters taking off every 3 minutes from a nearby location. Again, you will NOT hear them in this condo! It's amazingly quiet. The loudest noise we heard was the ocean lapping onto the shores and it was magnificent. We slept with our doors ajar every night to soak in the sounds of Kauai. Kendra is the caretaker and she did a fabulous job preparing the home so we felt it was super clean and ready for us when we arrived.
Super close conveniences of restaurants and grocery stores. Make reservations early for Dukes... the sunset is beautiful but they fill up fast.
The lock box is a bit tricky upon entry.. it's pretty old and a bit rusted (there is no key pad) but it's a minor, minor inconvenience for a week's worth of paradise. This is something that can easily be updated. The kitchen has all the appliances you need but is not yet stocked up with spices and that kind of thing so we 'donated' some and I am sure it will just get better and better with each guest. There is first aid, beach chairs and toys in the garage which was so nice and convenient for us when we had beach days.
This home is about 25 minutes from the Port Allen and Poi'pu... which was super convenient. It's about 40 minus from Princeville, which is a must on a Kauai trip!
I would definitely recommend this lovely home! We had the trip of a lifetime and we are so grateful for this opportunity to spend a week in this incredible home. Thank you so much for sharing! Maholo!
