The condo was great and had all the amenities we could have wanted and then some. Loved the cooler and beach chairs, we used them every day. Lanai was great and view was amazing! We were concerned about no ac but nice breeze through the jealousy windows and the bed was awesome. Check in was easy and the hosts were great. We would come again.

Overall we had a nice time and definitely enjoyed the lawn/beach area, etc. In addition, the apartment itself was very nice, and as advertised - no complaints. However, we were rather disappointed at the fact that the neighbor's dog barked every night between 2a - 4a, waking us up. In addition, the road noise was pretty loud, especially when people on motorbikes drove by, and since there really aren't windows that close tightly, it was hard to block out the noice. Also, the refrigerator door locking for several minutes after each time you open it is kind of a nuisance - not sure if that's something you can change? Lastly, the property manager entered the apartment while we were in the bedroom getting dressed, which was a little awkward. Again, lovely waterfront area and apartment, but not sure we would rent it again, given the above. Thanks.

My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon here and were impressed with the Hale Mahina especially their views of the ocean!
This place has everything you need - an extremely comfortable bed, roomy bathroom, gorgeous kitchen and perfect lanai. The beach access was very easy to get to as well - we were able to see so many sea turtles from here!

Our family had everything needed right in front of us to enjoy our vacation on Maui. Waking up to the view with the sound of the ocean waves made it extra special. We snorkeled at the private beach just steps away from the condo while kids played all day in the sand and pool. It was perfect! We barbecued a couple of times in the backyard which was nice because it saved us some money to spend on other fun activities to do. Definitely worth every minute and penny. This was truly paradise! The condo was so beautiful and clean. We made some of the most amazing memories while being there. We couldn’t have been happier. Thanks again for sharing your place with us.

This place was amazing. Everything was as described in the description. The condo is 100% ON THE BEACH. You literally can't get any closer. You can see the turtles swimming on top of the reef from the balcony. The grounds are kept to perfection. There is actually really nice snorkeling if you just walk down to the beach right out front. We visited about 3 other places to snorkel and out front of our condo was the best.The location was perfect. There are nearby restaurants and shops... but not so close you feel like you are in a resort. The owner Jill was very helpful and very easy to get a hold of to answer all those pre-travel questions. I would hands down stay here again.

What an amazing unit! The bed is comfy, the bathroom is huge, not mention the shower! The kitchen is beautiful with plenty of room to cook and well appointed. This was an amazing location to all things in Maui. The property was well kept and service with management was great. Their beach area was great for swimming and snorkeling. Each day 3-4 sea turtles would come into the beach each evening. Wonderful place!

We had such an amazing experience at the Mahina Hideaway and will definitely be back. The place is totally remodeled and modernized with everything a person could want. It honestly just felt like home from the moment you walked in. It is in a very quiet area about 10 minutes north of Lahaina. The view from the lanai is exactly as the pictures show. Every day we enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and beach directly in front. The beach is loaded with tropical fish, tons of sea turtles, and great snorkeling 5 feet from shore. So many turtles hauled themselves up on the sand and rested for hours directly in front of us. Jill is very quick to respond with any questions you may have prior to arriving and we wanted for nothing. Thank you for helping make our summer vacation a 10!

We loved our stay and really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella and cooler made available for our beach day trip to black rock beach in Kaanapali Beach. We absolutely loooved that beach for its clear waters for snorkeling by the way & just a short drive away. We also loved that staying further north from the other touristy areas allowed us to see more of the Island. The only reason I gave this 4 stars was the lack of air conditioning. To be quite honest, a PTAC unit would make this place a hands down, 5 star rating. Our teenage boys appreciated that Vornado fan and it definitely helped.

The remodeled decor was beautiful and the owners thought of everything. The condo had everything anyone could possibly need for a fabulous vacation. The view was absolutely amazing! The managers went above and beyond to deal with any issues that arose. Other than a barking dog, which neither the owners or managers has any control over, it was a perfect vacation. We so look forward to coming back and won’t ever stay anywhere else.

This was one of three properties we stayed at on this trip and it ranked as number one this side of Maui. We had beautiful sunsets on the beach/patio, local markets close by and stunning views all around. Everything we could need and more were provided for us. We will definitely be staying again.

Loved everything about this place from the moment we opened the door and were greeted by the sound of crashing waves off the back balcony. We heard we missed the whale migration, but my husband saw two large fins surface within an hour of sitting in our patio lookout, and soon followed 3 whales across the horizon north, breaching, blowing and clearly interacting... Everything you could think you would need for an awesome beach vacation was provided - from the private beach and grill equipment to the Tommy Bahama chairs and even Roy's Kona Coffee. Beautiful, space to watch sun coming up on Molokea (to North) and sun setting between Molokea and Lanai. Only regret is the beach seemed rough when we arrived on a rainy day, and I didn't body surf until last day of stay. Just one hour from airport and 40 minutes from Ocean Center (one of top 10 in world), and 10-15 minutes from top rated Kaanapali and Lahaina beachfronts, both of which are also worthy stops. (NOTE: Rock Groupies will want to make reservations in advance at Fleetwood's (of Fleetwood Mac fame). They have live music for free on many nights and beautiful photo art gallery of rockstars below the restaurant.)

The condo was easy to find and the check in was simple. The views were breathtaking and even had a little surf break out front. Quiet, peaceful and all the amenities! Would definitely stay there again. Close to everything on West side!

We really enjoyed staying here. The kitchen was very well stocked and had everything you might need which was handy because we cooked a lot. The ocean views from the room were incredible and it was everything I hoped it would be! Whale watching from our patio and turtles crawled right up onto the beach, which was private and could only be accessed by the residents of that small condo complex. My only critiques would be that the room does not have A/C, which may get pretty hot at certain times of the year. We went in March so it was still fairly comfortable with the fans going and windows open. Would highly recommend this place, the owners also left a lot of thoughtful little gifts upon our arrival which was a really nice touch!

We literally walked in and were thrilled to see how well it was updated, stocked with necessities and decorated. Such a classy place. The view was as good as a view can get which was spectacular as one whole side was looking out to the ocean. Maui was crowded but this low rise was a perfect area to have space to enjoy a small beach, hot tub and pool. Plenty of surf shops, a grocery store and restaurants / food trucks nearby. Great communication and instructions from owner. Wish I would have found it earlier as we would have loved to enjoy it a few more days! Great place!
