The property is in an ideal location ground level 20 feet from the ocean! Beautiful views of the harbor, Haleakala, Molokini, and more. Multiple turtles right in your back yard, gorgeous sun rises, and sunsets.
The beach park 5 minute walk is fantastic. The harbor is 5 minute walk to a great island store, aquarium, pacific whale foundation, and more:)
Hosts were great! Highly recommend a stay here.

We had a perfect stay in Maui. This unit is exactly as advertised, well renovated, comfortable, with a nice ocean view and central AC. The host’s attention to details is visible throughout the condo, with all special attentions to make you feel welcomed from the start. We also found this place to be very well located in Maui, near all points of interest, but away from the crowd.

Hard to beat the diving to lanai and Molokini. Relaxing and very comfortable condo with walk out patio to the ocean. Nice beach just down the street. Highly recommended.

The condo and location were absolutely perfect!
We normally stay in a resort on the busier part of the island but we wanted to change it up this time. We're so glad we did because the views, privacy, and accommodations were so much better than a resort stay. The permanent residents were all wonderful and welcoming with true "Aloha Spirit".
The condo had everything available for a day at the beach and so much more, so there was never a need to rent a lot of equipment. One stop at Costco to stock up on groceries was all we needed.
John is the best host and a great communicator. His kindness and generosity before and during the trip were exceptional and we look forward to returning in the future!

I can’t say enough about the property, it’s owners and of course the amazing view. John was easy to get ahold of and was very helpful. The property is as advertised. Beautifully remodeled and clean. The view is better than I could have hoped for. We saw whales right from the lanai and the turtles came up near the property to feed every morning. We were right near the marina where we jumped in a snorkeling cruise where we saw even more whales. This place is away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist mess and giant resorts so you will have to drive more but I think it’s a small price to pay. Kehei is a short 10 min drive and Lahaina is just 20 the opposite direction. The clientele is a little on the older side so this is definelty not a “party pad.” Everyone we met was very friendly and many of whom are residents. I can’t wait to go back and will share this gem with my friends and family for future trips.

This was our first trip to Maui and was very pleased with the accommodations. The condo was centrally located and well equipped. We enjoyed watching the turtles immediately out front. In the morning we sat on the deck and had our morning coffee and watched the sun rise. In the evening we looked forward to returning to the condo to relax from a hard day of exploring. I would definitely recommend these accommodations to friends and family.

It was an outstanding experience. The view from the condo is breathtaking. 10 meters from the ocean bay, with Mt. Haleakala dominating the scene.
The apartment is charmingly decorated, perfectly equipped and you have access to a great seaside garden with pool and barbecue station.
The Maui Ocean Center is 5 minutes by foot and with a 10 minute walk you’ll have access to a small beach.
The location gives you great access to the important parts of the islands.
Conversation with the owner has been a pleasure and we received a good pack of information upfront.

The condo was fabulous and did not disappoint! The view is amazing and so relaxing! It’s in a great quiet location and easily accessible to various spots around the island. We were two couples and we loved having the two bedrooms, beautifully decorated and each having our own bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked, though we didn’t cook much as we were out exploring; first visit for our son and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing it with him and his wife! The BEST part of our stay was “coming home to paradise” each evening!

The condo was perfect. Everything we needed was available to us. The sound and sight of the ocean mesmerized all of us from the moment we opened the living room curtain. We sat outside several times a day. The pool was a nice touch but the beach about a half mile away was amazing. We felt like we had our own private beach at times. We played in the waves and watched the magnificent sea turtles. The Aquarium was a short walk from the condo. It’s a delightful aquarium. The restaurant was delicious and safe due to outdoor seating.
We’ll certainly return if life allows. Thank you for your kindness and excellent communication. The yummy treats were a hit and an extra nice touch.

Love the location on Ma’alaea Bay. Felt like we were in a private area, beautiful views, not a bustle of tourists mulling around, the beach felt like a private beach and the condo was exactly as shown and described. John and Trish are incredible hosts. We can’t wait to come back.

John & Trish are the consummate hosts. Their communication is on a level beyond measure. Their condo is so well-appointed; honestly, if they don’t have it, you don’t need it. They have thought of it all!
The accommodations are quite comfortable - the sofa and accent chair to the beds - you will enjoy being in the condo, as well. But, let’s get to the good stuff: THE VIEW!
From the lanai to the ocean wall… it’s, maybe,15 paces or so to the ocean. Imagine slipping out the sliding door every morning with a cup of coffee in hand to enjoy the sunrise over the ocean bay and see sea turtles underwater eating their greens while relaxing on a chaise longue as the sea breeze tousles your hair. I’m not certain one could ever tire of this ever-changing view. When you’re outside taking in the view of the bay, be sure to slip off your flip flops and enjoy the cool sensation of the well-manicured golf course lawn under your toes AND keep your eyes open for kitties, snails, sea turtles, crabs, lobsters and the beautiful red headed cardinals. On the weekend, gas-lit tiki torches light the oceanside evenings.
Gas grills and patio tables are located between the condo and the heated pool. This is a great stay for couples or families, both. The condo’s location allows for walkable accessibility to Maui Ocean Center and the Maalaea Harbor; as well as, easy access to other parts of the island.

John and his wife were great. The condo was well decorated and had fantastic views. We saw so many turtles just outside our door. The condo also was well equipped with everything you need to stay there or venture off. If you wanted to go to the beach, there were beach chairs, towels, coolers, suntan lotion, snorkel sets and a sun tent. We really enjoyed our stay!

From the moment we booked the property, it was a pleasant experience. The owners provide all-star star hospitality. The condo is immaculate, comfortable and had a lot of amenities. Our favorite part was sitting outside the door and being directly oceanfront. That view is an experience very hard to find in Maui. We saw sea turtles every morning eating off the rocks just steps away! In the area, you are in about a 5min walking distance to the harbor and shops. We were able to walk to the harbor and hop on whale a watching cruise. Our family has previously stayed in Lahaina and in comparison this location had less of a tourist vibe and was less busy. Having a car would be recommended. Overall this place was fantastic! We are grateful for having the opportunity to stay in this gem!

Seriously enjoyed our stay here. Two teens with us (17, 15) so the pull out was necessary and the kids appreciated the memory foam. Place was super-clean and had everything we needed or wanted. The ground floor unit was awesome being able to step out onto the grass and this building is unique among all in Maalaea with the open area and unobstructed view of the ocean. On top of all of it, John is probably the best host I’ve ever dealt with… super-responsive and incredibly accommodating with the scenario planning around Covid. We will be back!
