"A Sea-nic Escape" is a large 3 bedroom home that sleeps eight (8) and is exquisitely furnished with 2 Master Suites each with their own luxurious bath, and 3rd bedroom with its own luxurious bathroom right outside the door. This home is perfect for families or three couples looking to share a home while having space, privacy and near equal size rooms and baths.
The first master has a King bed, access to lanai and amazing ocean views in the morning.
The second master has a King bed and has an ocean view that is equal to the first master. Both masters have a large ensuite bath with soaker tub, gorgeous high-end cabinets and frameless glass showers.
The third bedroom features two TwinXL beds that can be combined as King with gel topper plus a queen sleeper sofa.
This upholstered sleeper is from high end company called American Leather know for making the best and most comfortable sleeper sofas with gel mattresses.
There is a bath just outside the door that is just as luxurious as the other two master baths.
The airy open concept main room includes kitchen, dining area, great room, and large covered lanai with grill. The large dining room table will comfortably accommodate eight people plus three at the expansive kitchen island. The large lanai doors disappear into the wall for complete blend of indoor and outdoor living.
The lanai features comfy chairs and couches for reading, dining area with room for another six, and an outdoor kitchen. The lanai has an overlooking view of the Wai'ula'ula community with the expansive ocean as a backdrop.
The living room features a large 75 inch Ultra HD 4K TV.
"A Sea-nic Escape" is at the end of a quiet court, yet only a short walk to the Wai'ula'ula gated community recreation center and pool. This recreation center boasts an infinity pool that is to die for, and a kids pool for those with little ones. Lay on loungers in the water, enjoy the hot tub spa or cuddle up with your kids on one of the big orbital day beds. The recreation center also has a fitness center with stunning views of the pools and expansive Hawaii scenery.
As a Guest in this home, you have the option of registering for the Mauna Kea Club Amenity program for $180 / day, per group (not per person) providing you with the opportunity to enjoy exclusive benefits at both the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach Hotels. (Advance registration through Paradise In Hawaii and the Hotel required).
The benefits include charging privileges at both hotels, use of the hotel beaches and pools, towel usage, lounge chairs, umbrellas, reduced golf rates, tennis (court fees apply), use of two fitness centers, and guaranteed parking at each hotel.
Almost every guest takes this option as this is a prime reason guests want to stay in the luxurious Mauna Kea Resort. Mauna Kea Beach, possibly the nicest beach in all Hawaii, has limited public spots that fill before 8am most mornings so the ability to come and go to this beach and enjoy the amenities of two hotels makes this a must have for most guests.

It had filthy carpeting, I’m not sure when it was last cleaned, 20 years maybe. The furniture was also filthy, sticky and the arms of the couch were literally frayed off so the stuffing was revealed. The two E-bikes that were promised were now “under maintenance” and unavailable just as the review 2 months earlier had also reported.( why didn’t I listen) The lanai refrigerator was also “under maintenance” and unusable as well as the gas grill which was disgustingly dirty and the brush to clean it was completely shredded into bits. Unusable again. The dishes were in terrible condition. Overall, I’d give this unit and company a hard pass. The cleaning hill was over $450, yet we were instructed to wash all the beach and bath towels before leaving.
When I complained about the E bikes being unavailable and in addition the terrible state of the carpet, couches, lanai grill and refrigerator, I heard crickets. Management was not available or amenable to fixing any of it except they did send someone to fix one sink that wouldn’t drain. Not worth the money, grossly dirty, no thanks!

This is the second year we have stayed in the beautiful property. It was so convenient, comfortable and relaxing. The view and the ocean breeze is everything we were looking for. Also enjoyed the resort access. Responsive hosts!

It was a perfect place to stay! There were 5 of us, 3 rooms and 3 baths, all separated from each other giving everyone their space. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The furniture, beds and outdoor chairs were very comfortable. The doors to the lani opened up fully extending the living room, We loved that.
We didn't use the community pool area but toured it and it was very nice. The only disappointment was that the e-bikes were out of commission.
We would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Jaw dropping beauty! This house is right on the ocean. We enjoyed eating on the patio and watching sunsets with cocktails. We sat in the spa every late afternoon and watched the whales go by. The house is spacious, plenty of room for 6 people. We cooked in a lot and enjoyed that. There was a lot of rain our week but we expected that so we were prepared. Any question or issue we had the property manager answered promptly. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Great place. Well equipped with all beach toys too. Minor problem getting in at check in due to the electronic lock sticking. Called the rental agent and they told me how to pull on the door so it wouldn’t stick. Very minor issue but a bit of a hassle after a long day traveling. Place is absolutely wonderful otherwise.

The property and amenities were wonderful. Not only was the house big it was clean too. We are a family of 5 and the layout allowed us all to have our quiet places to escape to rest. The garage had boogie boards, snorkel gear and beach chairs and umbrella to boot. More than enough stuff to make your day at the beach perfect.
