In general we liked the property. Having a toddler on vacation is difficult especially in the mornings. Some of the included features of our stay were not working and took 5 days to fix.

We have been to Maui 5 times and this location is the BEST we ever stayed at. The best beach, the best restraints and plenty of shopping close enough to walk to. The rooms were very comfortable clean and with a well equipped kitchen when we wanted to cook. Master bedroom bed is great and the teenager with us loved the loft. Very pleasant view from the deck and shaded from the afternoon sun with lots of palm trees. Did not find anything I would change.

This is our 2nd time staying at this updated, and quiet condo. What is great about this family friendly condo is, it's across the street from Charley Young Beach. One block north of the Maui famous Kihei Caffe for the best breakfast experience. This top floor unit is set back and quiet from all street noise. The birds in the monkey pod trees greet you with song every morning while you are having coffee. This condo is fully stocked for a family of seven, Updated, clean, spacious and a great value. Our family highly recommends this condo at Maui Vista.

This condo is equiped with everthing we needed and most things we could come up with. The former owner put a lot of effort into keeping this appartement on a high standard and My Perfect Stays shares this mentality. Ideal for four people. Our boys loved the second floor. The kitchen is very well staffed. The location is close to everything and still quite.

Wow, just wow! Location and relaxation while on vacation is everything. Easy and direct access to Charley Young / Kam One Beach. Very walkable area to a variety of restaurants, food trucks, shopping and other beaches. This condo is furnished for vacationing families or couples. A fully stocked updated kitchen, new beds, new sleeper sofa, just a great updated condo that sleeps up to 7 people.
The condo location is very quiet and set back from the main road so coffee and hearing topical songbirds in the morning on the lanai is what vacationing is all about. Since you are on the top floor you have a tree top view of Maalaea Bay and the best sunset in the world.
My Perfect Stays really took care of us with the communication and travel support before and during our stay. We will be coming back to Maui Vista 2413 because it is all about the location in Maui, MPS quality to cleanliness and service. This condo made you feel at home while on vacation.

Just returned from a 3 week vacation in Maui. We stayed in Kihei, Hana, Maalaea and Kaanapali. Because of the length of stay and holiday season we couldn't get accomodated in one place. On hind site, this let us experience and enjoy different parts of Maui.
Stayed in the 2b/2b home, hosted by George from Dec 22- Dec 25.
5 stars for home location and communication with George. 3 stars for the home itself.
The second floor bedroom gets super hot and there is no AC upstairs. The small AC in the main area does help with the cooling upstairs. There is a cooler for the upstairs bedroom and when that didn't work for us, we were promptly and respectfully told that the cooler weather in Dec should keep the house cool. No effort was taken to fix the cooler. We ended up using the pull out couch for my teen boys, which was not comfortable. (We booked because of the 2nd bedroom and additional beds for my teens).
Another issue that the house has is a roach / pest problem. Lots of roaches, sugar ants running around. Under the sink, in the pantry and inside the cupboards etc. I brought it to George's attention and was requested to spray inside the pantry that I hesitated because of the food.
We stayed 3 nights here but was glad that we moved to Maalaea area for all water activities, turtle beach, comfort and peace and liked Maalaea which is equally convenient.
On the positive side, George sends lots of info and is prompt when communicating. Thank You!!! Location in good. Critical feedback, home needs maintenance. Also doesn't not have any views and was the farthest to the beach amongst the other places we stayed.
Overall, good home when issues are fixed (upstairs room, cooler, pest and roaches etc) but we will not be returning. Thank you for hosting us and sharing your home with us.

When I booked the place back in Feb for Dec, George stayed in contact with a a little message and pic of Maui every few months. Communication with George was great.
George’s place is located right across the beach, in a quiet and tranquil area. Not to far from the action down the street. It has pretty much anything you need in the kitchen and for outdoors - cooler, ice packs, beach toys, plenty of good beach towels! Even had games/puzzles/movies for rainy days which we took advantage of during our stay. Definitely would stay here again. Mahalo!

We spent a lovely 2 week vacation in this unit. It is in a lovely location with lovely amenities. Right across from the beach. This unit was perfect for our family travelling with 2 children ages 4 and 9. I would highly recommend this unit. This was our 2nd stay at this unit and are already planning a 3rd stay. Our host, George, is very welcoming and is in constant communication. Great host!

We really had a awesome time in Kihei. The apartment was big enough for us 6. 3 people upstairs in the loft with extra bath (wonderful), 1 at the couch in the living room and 2 in the bedroom. We had everything we need to cook and nice things for the beach. The location is really good for everything: sightseeing, shopping and beach. The check in/out was really easy and to communicate with George was easy and nice, too. .We definitive can recommend this apartment.

This property is everything you are looking for in Kihei. 5 minutes walk to the beaches, restaurants and shopping. We rented the car only 3 days to go from Airport to the condo, road to Hana and check out Lahaina area for shopping and the banyans tree park. We walked every where for the rest of 5 days left. Charles young beach has so much to offer. Snorkeling, boogie board, swimming and seeing turtles. We had a blast staying at George’s condo. Will definitely staying here again if come back to Mauii. George is so great on communication and making sure we have everything we needed. Thank you George.

Cozy condo that is a 3 minute walk to a beautiful beach. Beds are all comfy and there is A/C in every room. George is a fabulous host- the condo is fully stocked with everything you need to cook and also all your beach supplies. The umbrella was particularly welcome! Restaurants and shops are an easy 5-10 minute walk. Absolutely recommend staying here- you won't be disappointed

George can put on a master class on how to host a rental. I have never stayed with a more organized, communicative, and thoughtful host. The unit itself is awesome, it has all items you would expect a rental unit to have and a ton more. Everything is labeled, which made my OCD wife very happy. I could not recommend George and his condo more.

My family (me, wife and 18m son) stayed in George's condo for 7 nights in April. We really enjoyed the condo and all of the amenities. There was always easy parking at the complex and we were able to easily walk to beaches, parks and restaurants. The condo cooled down quickly with windows and fans in the morning and night and AC in the afternoon.

This rental was fantastic from start to finish. George communicated with us for months in advance, throughout our stay, and once we got home. The property was exactly as advertised. It is in an amazing location near beaches, restaurants, and the beginning surf area enjoyed by our young adult children. We had all of the beach supplies and toys we could want and the property itself was perfect with an enclosed upstairs that allowed our adult kids to sleep in while we got up earlier to get our day going. The unit was amazingly cool without air conditioning but we did turn it on for an hour or so before bed as we like to sleep in cooler conditions.

On the whole, the condo was clean and well-stocked with supplies. Location is great. However, some improvements may be needed for the host to get a top service rating.
First, our self check-in process turned into a real challenge due to the power outage happened that night in Kihei. As the property was remotely managed by the host living in California, our late arrival in the evening made it impossible for us to reach the host for advices. With no available local contact or emergency light sources in the condo, we struggled thru the whole night in total darkness.
After googling “Maui/Kihei power outage frequency,” we think having a simple LED emergency light kit in the condo will be a good idea for enhancing guest safety .
Other issues surfaced during the stay:
The master bedroom – The A/C unit was loud.
The loft bedroom - Squeaky floor plus a deformed twin mattress affected the sleep quality.
Deposit refund – During booking, we have paid property damage protection plan, cleaning fee, and Refundable Damage Deposit. The Refundable Damage Deposit was later renamed or recharacterized by the host in his 09/27 email as refundable “laundry deposit” which will only be refundable “if you only leave 1 load of laundry.” It’s still not clear to us why the laundry job turns into a separate item from the cleaning service.

If you have a rental car you can access a lot of different beaches in less than 10 or 15 minutes. Close to an abundance of eateries. We loved that the apartment had beach accessories for older kids. There’s a lot of things for younger kids also. We liked that it slept 5 without having to use the hide-a-bed. There were additional things we forgot like sunblock and shampoo. Kitchen was fully stocked and check-in was easy.

This condo is really close to the beach, walking distance to restaurants and shops, and pretty centrally located to go to Lahaina or the Road to Hana. George is a great host and has great communication before, during, and after our trip. The condo provides many amenities...we especially loved having boogie boards to take to the beach! (There are also many other water fun items, towels, and a cooler if you want to use). The kitchen is well stocked. The a/c works great (it does get hot and humid in Maui, so the a/c was nice to have). The two beds upstairs were perfect for our 12 and 15 year old. Also, the grounds of this condo are well kept. There is a small view of the ocean from the balcony and it feels very tropical.. I would stay here again!

I have stayed at a lot of VRBO's/etc and hands down, this was the best appointed of any of them. It really was like a friend just loaned you their condo for the week; fully furnished and very, very comfortable. The beach is right across the street, there are dining and coffee options in walking distance, and we didn't feel like we lacked anything during our stay. Very highly recommended.

My family and I stayed 10 days in Maui. The Banker's property was amazing for our family! A blocks walk to a private beach. We didn't even end up going to another beach because this one was so convenient and perfect for our family. Very close to all of the essentials in Kihei and centrally located making it a breeze to get to Lahaina, to Costco, the Airport, and all of our activities like a snorkel tour, the aquarium, the tropical plantation, and ziplining. The condo itself was perfect and well stocked with all of the essentials we needed for snorkeling and playing at the beach. There was a pack and play and high chair for our one year old, and my older children LOVED the loft room. We swam in the pool multiple times a day, chased lizards, took sunrise walks on the beach almost daily, snorkeled with turtles, and ate breakfast on the lanai with a beautiful view.

This is a clean, comfortable, well-stocked condo right in the middle of all the action in Kihei. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed snorkeling, surfing, paddle boarding and a few great restaurants. The host gives excellent communication before, during and after your stay and really cares that you have a quality experience. If I ever get the opportunity to return to Maui, I would absolutely stay here again!

Could not ask for a better location. We just walked across the street everyday to sit on a beautiful clean beach and swim in the pristine ocean. Everything is within walking distance.
