This has been a great diamond in the rough for decades. As there is emphasis on Wailea, I believe that Kihei is more and more a great vacation destination. I don't really want to advertise this since its nice the way it is.

We have stayed several times at Maui Kamaole making it our first choice amongst the many condo complexes in Kihei. The pools and grounds are beautiful. This was our first time staying in a lower one-bedroom unit and it was perfect for our family of three. We utilized the pull out couch for our 11-year-old and she didn't complain once. There was plenty of clean linens and extra pillows to make a comfy bed. The walk to Kamaole beach three was short and easy, the hill back is manageable for just about anyone! There was plenty of beach gear in the unit including chairs, umbrellas, coolers, boogie boards and beach towels. The Kitchen was well stocked, but not all that well organized. The air conditioning unit in the bedroom didn't work as well as the one in the living room. We would flip on the air conditioning units in the afternoons so that by the time we went to bed the rooms would be cool enough to sleep comfortably; however, the back bedroom didn't ever get quite cool enough. The unit was clean when we arrived. As for the "starter kit" I would say this is enough for one week, but not two, so keep that in mind. Overall this was a great place, we enjoyed the sunsets and view from the lanai, and the condo met all of our expectations!

Everything about this condo was amazing! I got multiple email leading upto the check-in date. I was informed on what to be expected out of this place. When we got to this condo, we were positively surprised how close it was to the ocean - it has both ocean and mountain view. We live in a high-rise building, and touching the grass on a daily basis in the patio was an amazing experience for us. We truly had a great time. All the amenities were greatly communicated to us; so much so that I never had to call them for anything. Everything we needed to know was in the emails.
Restaurants are close by. The beach is right across the road. We just walked across with our snorkeling set (there is a snorkel set and other beach accessories available, but we got our own snorkel set).

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean, had lots of space. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella and boogie board to use down at the beach and that it was as short walk to such a nice beach.

This unit in complex H is far enough from the road to be quiet and high enough on the hill for nice sunsets (though the power lines on the road are a bummer!). It's super convenient for getting to Kihei shops or walking down the Wailea beaches.
The cons of this place: small kitchen; plastic dishware; not quite as spotless as I prefer. But! the bed was comfy, the layout is nice, and the host was generous with the check-out time.

We really enjoyed our stay at CamiOle. The unit was perfectly located, clean, fully stocked. Our only problem was we had no television or internet for six days. It went out on a Thursday. Calls to property management went unanswered, both on Thursday and Friday. Then both the property mgmt and on site office were closed for the entire weekend. Our calls to the cable company informed us that the service was discontinued due to non payment of the bill. Finally, Monday morning I went to the on site office they couldn’t help but put me in contact with the property mgmt company. I told them the story again and we got service back late Monday afternoon.

The two of us rented a one bedroom, 1st floor unit with a beautiful view of the bay and sunsets. Each morning on the patio we were greeted by the strolling chickens. The condo was perfect - layout, comfort, and great location to Kihei and Wailea. It was also an easy walk down the hill to the beaches and to watch the sea turtles. We took advantage of both pools - the upper one is smaller and beautifully landscaped, while the lower one, which was closer, is larger, more open, and good for lap swimming and sun bathing. Would highly recommend this choice for your Maui vacation!

Had a great experience staying here and would definitely recommend! Check-in was easy and well communicated. Property has everything needed, including an ocean view from the patio! They had beach supplies to use which made beach visits great without needing to rent. The location was close to tons of great restaurants and central to the island making it easy to drive anywhere for exploring.

The Condo was well kept, it was nice there was Beach Chairs, umbrellas, coolers etc. The kitchen was well equipped.The only comment we have is the Condos furniture could be updated.For the price you pay it should be very nicely decorated.One other thought, the Condo is very expensive to rent.In these economic times, you have to be careful that you don’t overprice the rental so a middle class family can still afford to rent it.

A great and recommended place, the condominium is equipped with all the necessary things to have a great time in the beach including chairs, umbrellas and coolers! great detail that we avoid buying things that we could not bring back home, the area is very quiet and beautiful, if you want to feel at home this is the perfect place, you will not need to buy kitchen utensils or basic stuff because this place is equipped with everything.

Loved that it was so close to the beach and you could see the water every day. However, the beach across the way was not the most calm (so if you're looking for a beach with calm waters for little kids that's within walking distance, you might want to look elsewhere but there were plenty of kids nonetheless playing with their parents).
My kids really loved the pool. There seemed to always be kids there that they could play with. The place itself was clean and we had all the necessities to cook as needed. The parking also was very close. The one thing I didn't like was that the pool required walking along a small strip where there was no sidewalk so with a squirrelly 4 year old, it wasn't always enjoyable.
The place was also stocked with water to get us through the first day and a half, so thank you! There was an organic store down the way with great smoothies that requires a little driving (5 mins) but that I would go to for any groceries. Overall, great place to stay and would recommend if you'd like a place to stay near the water.

My wife and I took this 2 week vacation to Maui finally after having to cancel a year ago due to Covid restrictions. We had a great time and enjoyed the stay in H-109 with its great location and ocean view from the lanai.We have stayed in other resorts in Maui and we enjoy Maui Kamaole the most. We have stayed at this resort the last 3 vacation stays with our family, utilizing 3 separate units each time.

Lovely spot with easy beach access. Excellent place to watch the sunset and even a opportunity to see whales. Clean and well maintained with excellent customer support. Sound can be a issue as movement of the people in the unit above can be clearly heard at times.

The condo was impeccably furnished and the decor was classic Hawaiian Style, very stylish! The condo had everything one would ever need and was laid out in a very functional manner. The location is great, central to all. But the best part was the spectacular view!!! Sitting on the lanai every morning and enjoying my cup of coffee with the beautiful view and nature all around, it was AMAZING! My wife and I both agree, this was the most perfect vacation we have ever experienced. Thank you, Mahalo Nui Loa. (We will absolutely return to this condo, possibly this summer)
