The condo is nicely updated with a new kitchen, bathrooms, appliances and finishes. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens. We appreciated the beach chairs, cooler and the pickleball court. The only real issue is the lack of view from the ground floor unit. Everything else was great.

The property was remodeled with great finishes. There is AC in every room as well as fans. The place is a block up from the beach at the back of the property and close to many places to eat. I was able to set the chair out on the grass, just off the Lanai and watch the sun set over the ocean.

The condo was a great spot with wonderful beaches and snorkeling nearby. Plenty of restaurants, ice cream and beach gear within walking distance.

Property was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Loved having two bathrooms. Kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. Parking was convenient, the location of the condo was very close to the stairs/elevator. Instructions to enter the condo were super easy, and checking in/out was a breeze. The air conditioners and the fans in the rooms made our visit so comfortable. Wifi was fast and reliable. Walking distance to many stores and restaurants. Just a short walk to the beach for a morning swim. As mentioned in other reviews, there is some water damage on the wall and floor adjacent to the the master bedroom and some areas near the kitchen sink. But it did not detract from our enjoyment of the property. The interior of the condo looks just like the photos. I enjoyed sitting on the lanai, not much of a view since the condo is on the ground floor, but you have a nice grassy area and it is fairly private. I would love to stay again and I would highly recommend this property.

This was a great spot for a family vacation! It was walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops. It was also centrally located to drive to other parts of the island. The rental was clean and serene. Thanks!

Property was as good as advertised. Short walk to the beach and some good restaurant options. Host went the extra mile with us as we were celebrating an event and left us a nice care package with congratulations notes. Very thoughtful. We’re quick to respond to questions as well. If back in Kehei, this will be our spot!!

we were very happy with our experience at kihei ali'i kai c108. The unit was as described and the location could only have been better on the beach. it was close to a nice beach and a great place central to driving all around the island...which we did! Kitchen was well equipped. SO Happy all around!

We have stayed in a number of condos at Kihei Alii Kai and this unit is one of the better ones we’ve rented. The location is perfect with easy access to the parking lot and elevator. The unit was very clean and spacious. Maui can get hot so having three independent air conditioners was perfect! I would have given a perfect five stars for the condo’s condition except for the flooring and wall at the entrance. I’m sure it’ll be addressed.

Unit was very nice and clean. Except for the wakeup calls and the chickens at the patio door every morning but we did not feed them no matter how cute the little chicks were. We were not able to sit out on the lanai to enjoy coffee.

It’s a little bit of a walk when you’re carrying a lot of heavy things. The unit was very nice though. Does need a little work on the wall at the bottom by the dining room table, which looks like it has water damage and is bubbled. The floor outside the master bedroom needs a little work also. Nicely decorated, comfortable furniture. Lots of kitchen items stocked. I would definitely recommend and stay there again and again. Great location.

We arrived to find significant mold and water damage to the floors in the entry and dining area, the wall along the master bedroom and the carpet in the master. There was an active water leak in the master bedroom from the AC and the carpet was constantly soaked. Property management installed 2 dehumidifiers to help reduce the mold issue, but we developed headaches from the mold. We had to keep the windows open and air moving to ventilate the condo because of the mold. There were no other accommodations available, so we made do with what we had. Based upon our interactions with property management, they were aware of the leak and damage before we arrived. It appears they attempted to mitigate the issue but not fix it before we arrived. The flooring and carpet need to be replaced because of the mold and damage. Good customer service would be to notify us prior to our arrival and find replacement accommodations. This was not the vacation we hoped for.

The location was convenient. We needed handicapped parking but the only spots available were for owners only--that is unacceptable and in fact is illegal in most states.. The unit itself needs work. Parts of the floor are in disrepair and the patio doors desperately need lubrication and new rollers. The TV in the master bedroom was streaming video only--for what we paid for that place they should been able to provide cable for that TV. There ws no TV in the second bedroom and there really should have been one. For the six days we were there the hot water took a long time to get to the bathrooms. The water ran fo nearly 10 minutes before it was hot enough to shower. Overall, the unit was overpriced and did not really live up to our expectations.

We love staying at the Kihei Ali'i Kai. The overall set up and location is hard to beat. I would say that for a two bedroom unit it ought to come with 2 pool keys and not just 1. That would have made life a lot easier for us 4 adults. I do think that the general rental rate for all of these condos in Maui has been pushed a bit high and is going to force people like me to look elsewhere next time.

The place was so nice - the only issue was not hot water - we reported it and the CBIP Staff addressed the issue right away - unfortunately we were not able to stay in the codo, needed a new hot water heater - we were given the option to find another place to rent and a refund was given. I loved the location and the condo - we will definitely check this place out if we return. I want to mention that Jeremiah from CBIP was wonderful to work with - he returned my calls updated us on what was going on with the water issue, and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our brief stay. He as so professional and truly cared. Great individual !!

My two friends and I came and stayed here for a long weekend and it was our first time in Hawaii! Location - we thought it was a great location! It's a 2 minute walk to coffee shops and the beach. Also, a 20 minute walk to the Triangle area which had another pretty beach, restaurants/bars and more coffee shops!Amenities - It had tons of space, an outdoor patio to enjoy your morning coffee, all essentials plus in-unit laundry! It also has parking and the check in was super easy. I definitely recommend staying here :)

I stayed in the property for 8 nights. It is newly renovated. Location is very good. Please note that it is situated at the top of a small hill. This could get old quick for those with small kids, physical issues, etc. The condo itself is at the farthest point on the property away from the ocean as well. The air conditioning works fine, although it is very noisy. Please note that the second bedroom does NOT have a/c, just the living room and master bedroom. The second bedroom seemed okay temperature-wise. Luckily it has a ceiling fan. The sliding patio doors are heavy and do not lock easily. Be careful to ensure that those doors are in fact locked when you leave. The front door works very well and has a convenient key pad for entry. Appliances are new and work well. The microwave is huge and doubles as an oven. This property is lacking any type of large knives. Good luck trying to cut into a pineapple! They do have knife sharpeners though, just no knives other than butter and steak knives to use them on! The master bed is nothing impressive. Seemed small, probably a queen. The mattress felt pretty lumpy. I, personally, did not find it comfortable. I found, however, the couch to be super comfortable! This was a last minute booking. Normally I like to stay oceanfront, but everything was booked up. I would possibly consider this building again and perhaps this unit again. Overall nice property and condo.

This rental was fabulous! It was very clean, comfortable & cozy! It was newly remodeled and everything was in excellent condition. The complex was also very quiet & peaceful. The pool & hot tub were also very nice.
