We totally enjoyed our stay. Everything was extremely clean. All the furniture looked brand new. There was nothing that we were not happy with in the condo. If we could visit again, we would like to stay in condo 210 again. It did not disappoint in any way!

This place is perfect. Breakfast on the balcony every morning. Great ocean sounds and bird sounds. That’s all you hear. The neighbors are very quiet and the design of property blocks out road noise. Not sure which part was my favorite: fans in EVERY room, the kitchen (with everything you need), the recliner for watching tv (which you probably won’t even do bc of the amazing location), the shower (OMG I LOVE), the balcony, or the pools (the ocean one was my favorite), or the beautiful sunset every night. The bed was good (my husband liked but I prefer a very very soft bed, so this one was normal bed for him), we slept good every night. I left 2 clips to clip the curtains closed so no light gets in, and we bought and left a washable coffee filter so no need to buy filters. Literally this place was beyond what I expected. I planned too much to do and would have stayed in the pool all day. If you have an afternoon flight I would request a late checkout just to use the pool longer (pool house has showers) and for the gated parking. My suggestion is to go south to the KTA for groceries (all others were pricey), and eat at least once at Sunset Kai Lanai (at sunset). The host was very responsive (checked on us before, and during check in just to see if we needed anything). If we ever come back to Hawaii, we will return to this island and this location. I only hope we are able to come back (and would definitely spend an entire day at the pool). Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We were in Kona for the Ironman World Championship and this was an ideal spot! It was close enough to the epicenter of all the activities to take care of business but also far enough away to be able to retreat and relax. Booking was easy and communication was simple. This unit was just as advertised and our one bedroom condo was still spacious enough to accommodate us when our 2 adult daughters opted to join us! The beds and linens were quite comfortable and the kitchen was nicely stocked so we could cook and enjoy many meals outside on the lanai. We even used the grills in the common area to cook out one evening. The salt water pool and beach area right on the water had breathtaking views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will miss those glorious Hawaiian sunsets!

Beautiful Location and Lovely Unit. However it was extremely musty when we arrived. Smelled as if it had been closed up for months. I was also very disappointed that there was no welcome basket or even some coffee to make the first pot, After traveling all day it's nice to not have to find a store right off the bat, have a snack and a cup of coffee.The water gear that is pictured was also not be found. The property manager did offer to reimburse us if we wanted to purchase some and leave it there for future travelers. This was my first time using VRBO and I found it somewhat impersonal compared to my experiences with other rental sites

We loved our stay at Casa De Emdeko. The condo was updated and comfortabe, with everything we needed. The lanai was great, and the salt water pool by the ocean was fantastic. We enjoyed using the bbq and watching the sunset from the patio by the beach.

This was such a cute little condo! It had all the amenities we needed and was very clean and decorated in Big Island spirit. The pool was amazing as it was right on the ocean and was perfect for an evening swim. Parking was easy too. There is also a small store right outside the entrance that was perfect for anything you may need for a snack or beverages.

The property was fabulous! We tended to stay out and do all we could on the Big Island, but when we came back we had a relaxing property waiting for us. The other residents were very nice as well. We did utilize both pools and the grills as well, which were all positive experiences!

Stayed in July 2022. Very clean and comfortable unit. The accommodations were great. Check-in was a breeze. You can see and hear the ocean from the lanai. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of pans, plates and utensils when we ate in. Management responded quickly with any questions. WIll definitely look to stay here again.

The location is always amazing. We enjoyed the grounds. The unit is clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We really enjoyed the modern kitchen and cooked daily, which made our stay very relaxing and comfortable. We enjoyed our meals on the lanai listening to the birds and watching the boats pass by. The bathroom shower is like a spa. The A/C worked really well. We would highly recommend this unit at this location. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Casa De Emdeko is our favorite property on the island of Hawaii, and condo 210 is FANTASTIC. We have stayed in other condos at Case De Emdeko but none as beautifully upgraded as condo 210. The kitchen had EVERYTHING we needed to make excellent meals, it was beautifully refurbished. The bathroom, living room, and lanai was well appointed and upgraded. While the view of the ocean is not as vast from condo 210, as other condos it's still fantastic. The only recommendation I would make is to add an umbrella and chairs for beach adventures. The snorkel gear was a nice touch, though not something we needed. Overall I would stay at condo 210 again without hesitation. The condo and property were clean and bright, the fragrances used in the condo were lovely. The ac was most welcomed after warm days. Thank you for a lovely stay

Stayed in this unit for 10 days. We've stayed at the Casa a few times and our family members have stayed in other units at the Casa many times. This unit was by far one of the nicest ones we've seen or stayed at. It was spacious, clean, updated, and very comfortable! We were traveling with an infant, and enjoyed having the extra space in this 1 bedroom unit as opposed to some of the smaller 1 bedroom floorplans. The lanai is beyond amazing - we spent time out there every single day. The daybed on the lanai felt comfortable and clean and the patio table on the lanai was very nice and good quality furniture. The only downside (which is no one's fault) is that was that we wish it was on the top floor instead of the 2nd floor!! With an infant, sleep was sparse so it was extremely frustrating to hear every step taken on the unit above us. It reverberates throughout the condo, so no matter where the footsteps are you can hear them from all parts of the unit. Personally, we would choose to stay on a top floor next time, even if it's not as nice as this unit.One disappointment was that we were originally told by the property owner (when she was allowing bookings through a vacation rental site and not through Knutson) that there was a pack-n-play included at the unit for infants. Which was honestly one of the main reasons we chose this unit! But when the property was transferred to Knutson, I inquired with Knutson about whether the pack-n-play was still included and I was informed that it was not included. However, when we arrived (after hauling our pack-n-play from home) we were surprised to see that there WAS in fact a pack-n-play in the master closet for our use! That was super frustrating because the pack-n-play took up half of one of our suitcases and was a pain to haul around. But that's what happens when you book through a property management company like this instead of booking directly with the property owners on a vacation rental site!

Our stay was perfect, the condo was very clean and fit the description on Airbnb very well! It's quite close to the Kona restaurants and shopping and there is a cute little beach out front (it is rocky though like most of the island). The customer service was great, I had forgotten to update my email address to one I still have access to but Knutson Property worked with me to get me the info I needed. 10/10 I would recommend this property to anyone!
