To use 1 word- WOW! Grounds were well kept, amenities surpassed everywhere I've been! ...and now for what matters, the condo...
This was the most comfortable condo we have EVER stayed in! The bed was utterly amazing!!!
We've been to all the islands, multiple times and several other trips. This cond blew out every big name resort you can think of! AND you literally walk out your slider 50 feet to a soft sand beach with a putting green 70 feet out your slider looking at the ocean which is 40 feet from a BBQ that is always immaculate!
My 10 year old grandson literally went from Aulani to Marriott then flew to Kauai for Pono Kai and all he talks about is the condo!
I have 1 final word, if you want to stay here book in advance, it is so worth the wait, any time I ever come to Hawaiian islands, it will be Kauai, Pono Kai C102

Great location with beautiful view. Clean and stocked with everything you would need. 4 beach chairs, umbrella and coolers. Fully stocked kitchen. Walkout to beach. Big bedroom.

This was our longest stay and again was spectacular. Kathleen is one of the nicest people and very committed to providing a great place to stay. Great communication before, and during stay. Willing to answer and assist with anything needed. The BEST sleep I’ve had in along time. Bed is so comfortable. Living area has awesome furnishings and kitchen is stocked with everything you need. We used the kitchen a lot and ate on the Lani which had the best view for enjoying meals! Location is centrally located to Northshore / South shore! Mahalo Kathleen. Can’t wait to visit again.

We had a wonderful time in the Pono Kai condo. It is very nicely decorated with all the amenities of home. There is a great walking/ bike path in front of the beach. Some good restaurants within walking distance and more within 10 minutes. The owner was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions and gave us some wonderful suggestions.

We had a wonderful time in the Pono Kai condo. It is very nicely decorated with all the amenities of home. There is a great walking/ bike path in front of the beach. Some good restaurants within walking distance and more within 10 minutes. The owner was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions and gave us some wonderful suggestions.

This condo in Kapa’a exceeded all of our expectations. It was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The ocean view was amazing and we watched the sunrises almost every morning.
The kitchen had everything we needed. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was roomy. Two TVs worked out great for us.
We enjoyed sitting in the lanai and watching the chickens. The condo was very convenient to going anywhere on the island that we wanted.
Kathryn was very pleasant to deal with. And let me say, the person that cleans the unit does an amazing job because this was the cleanest vacation rental I have ever been in. Meticulously cleaned and cared for. I cannot say enough about how amazing the condo was.
We did not use any of the property amenities because we didn’t have time but the Pono Kai property was well kept and very nice. We felt very comfortable and safe here. We would definitely stay here again.

This apartment was nicely appointed and clean with a great view of the ocean and the sunrises. Nicely decorated in Hawaiian style. Super comfy bed and very soft sheets! Nice selection of pillows, lots of hangers and closet space. Best stocked kitchen I have ever seen! You could even bake in this kitchen, if you wanted. The grounds were pretty and well maintained. But it was weird to have the laundry right out front with linens and carts spread all over the outside etc. Comfortable furniture inside and out on the patio. There was plenty of space for two. no road noise, quiet resort, but (nothing against the owner) the walls are thin! People walking around upstairs sounded like a preforming circus! Especially at 4AM! Different people renting the apt upstairs only improved it slightly. Still, it was a nice place.

We watched the sunrise over the ocean every morning while having breakfast and coffee on the lanai. The location was perfect! Walking distance to the best little shops and great food! Short driving distance in each direction to enjoy the island. The property is well maintained and the staff friendly and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Close to shopping and great food options. It had everything that you need in the condo for beach fun and traveling. Lots to do and see on the island. Days are to short is my only complaint wish we had more light to explore longer.

One of the best units on the property in my opinion. Ocean-front view from large lanai and walking trail right outside the door! The unit is very clean and updated compared to other units in the project. Close to Kapa'a shops and restaurants. They had everything you need in the unit - beach chairs, cooler, beach towels, even a set of golf clubs (there's a putting green right next to the unit!). Even the pull out sofa bed was pretty comfortable - my kids told me. You can tell the owners really want you to have a good stay. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience all around! Owner was proactive and kept us informed throughout. The unit is a first floor oceanfront end unit with great views of the eastern shore. Very short walking distance to good shops and restaurants. Very clean unit, equipped with everything we needed, including beach chairs and a cooler! Highly recommended!
