The carpets were filthy. The view on the patio was of construction equipment and a dirt path used for the equipment. The bath mat had not be washed but simply folded up dirt and placed on the tub. We had one garbage bag, no extras for a 9 day stay. Not even close to how it was advertised. Not worth half the money charged. Very disappointed.

We loved our stay here and enjoyed all the amenities and big spacious room. Our kids were just fine on the pull out bed and we had a nice private bedroom to ourselves, me and my husband. The kitchen was well equipped and the cleanliness was great. Our kids very much enjoyed the Roman cats and catching lizards out in the back as well as the shortcut it provided to the pool and beach. Not your fault, but it might be mentioned that there is lawn upheaval going on and the usual lush green lawn was absent on the lanai/back porch.... So not the best view, although the trees were beautiful behind it. The kids and we absolutely loved the multitude of pools, including the slide was a hit! The caves under the little waterfalls were a nice touch as well. The staff were very helpful and kind at hunua kai. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location and nice accommodations! Would highly recommend this listing.! Great location very close to the beach. Unit is stocked with beach chairs, umbrella and body boards. Would definitely love to come back again to this same place!

Everything was easy, clean, and perfect. Being on the ground floor was everything!!! Plus we loved the keypad on the door, no keycard hassle when running to/from the pool and ocean! We'll be back.

It was a very nice unit with a private lanai. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. Great resort pools were cool and Dukes restaurant was amazing!

This was the perfect location for our family! We were a mom, dad, 3 year old, and 18 month old. The condo was ground level - walk out the sliding glass door and you’re 30 steps to the honua kai pools.
We grabbed coffee every morning in the on-site market and watched the whales jump from the beach.
The condo was clean, well-stocked, and convenient for us. We valet’d every day, but the parking garage was fine, too.
Honua Kai is the ideal location for families.
Tiffany was very responsive and extremely helpful. We had a stroller delivered from a rental company, and she was gracious enough to coordinate it for us.
We will definitely be staying here again!!!

We are already planning our next visit! The property was clean and had everything we needed. It is in walking distance to a grocery store, food carts and more. Private and in walking distance to the pools, restaurants and the beach! Perfect for families!

We stayed here mid October for our family vacay! We absolutely loved to room & the property. The room was super clean and everything was perfect. We loved the patio and short walk to the pool. The water slides, pools and hot tubs were a hit for my 2 year old son. We highly recommend and can’t wait to come back! Mahalo!

Lovely unit opening to lawn/play space, fully equipped, at a well maintained resort with all the bells and whistles (store, restaurant/bar, pools, beach access.) Parking in building after 7pm a challenge - look for surface spots marked guest parking in neighboring development.

Spacious 1 bedroom on the ground floor level was so nice. Easy access to everything and being on the ground level made us feel like we had our own personal yard. Would definitely stay here again.

The room size, amenities, and location was perfect for our family of 4. It had everything that we needed, and I was surprised that we had access to cooler, beach rec gear/chairs and even sand toys. I will say though, there were some bugs (flies) most likely from previous guest leaving the sliding doors open. It’s going to happen, especially because the room is on the ground level. But not a big deal for us. We got rid of some and closed the doors if we’re sitting out in the patio area. We would stay here again.

We had a great stay! The room was nice and spacious, and having the ground floor access outside was wonderful. Don't have to deal with elevators, can just walk out your room down to the pool or beach. Supplied chairs and beach toys were a nice bonus. Only minor negative of the Honua Kai property is the limited swimming beach. great snorkeling out front, but not the best spot for swimming, especially for the kids. We snorkeled with turtles everyday we got out there, so much fun !

I was nervous that the pictures were too good to be true, but they weren’t! What an incredible vacation rental. My husband and I couldn’t have been happier with a first floor condo with direct access to the beach. I highly recommend this rental, I would 100% stay in it again!

Love the location, easy access to the resorts pools, hot tubs, the beach and the Duke’s! The room had everything we needed during our trip. Just an FYI, garage is usually pretty full after 8 pm

The rental itself was great. Very nice and clean. The rental company was easy to work with. The resort’s limited parking made things difficult with little kids. If you try and park at night after 6 it’s quite a walk. Trying to find a pool chair was crazy too, everyone “saved” them by putting there stuff all over them and not using them to sit in. The food choices were pretty limited too if you plan on staying mostly at the resort. The pools and private beach access were great.

My husband and I were absolutely delighted when we walked into this condo. It was so spacious and had all the amenities one would need while on vacation in Maui. The resort was perfect and it was right on the beach. I would absolutely stay here again when we come back.
