Good fit for wife and 2 under 2. Location was safe and great access to beaches. Quality of pull out mattress is the reason for 4 stars rather than 5 stars. I will admit that this problem is painstakingly common in the area.

Great location with excellent access to local beaches, shopping, and restaurants! Host home had plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, and an umbrella to make beach going fun and easy. Condo was nicely appointed. Only thing to add might be some basic condiments because all that was on hand was a bit of salt and some olive oil.

Condo exceptionally clean, modern, perfect for couples. Condo is in a back corner of complex so lanai view is the road which has traffic noise and homeless living in vehicles (who didn't bother anyone). Lovely beach is 5 min walk. Condo provides beach chairs, umbrella and cooler. No coffee, coffee filters, tea, spices, salt or pepper in kitchen which would have been nice. We were there for 2 weeks but did our own cooking so had to buy these few items but left them behind for next guests, since we could not use up in the 2 weeks we were there. Owners/management were great with reaching out to us from the time we booked the property till the time we left to go home.

My wife and I really enjoyed the unit. Very private lanai and well equipped condo for all we needed to enjoy Maui again. The bed was very comfortable and the entire place was clean and well stocked for essentials. The beach chairs and umbrella were also nice to have. Highly recommended!

My wife and I returned to Maui to celebrate our 36year anniversary. It was great as usual. The condo was very nice and allowed for much needed R&R. We will return and use the condo again. We usually visit Maui two to three times a year. Great place to visit. Chuck

This Kamaole Sands condo was perfect for our stay in Kihei! The place was beautiful inside and out. We loved the large kitchen with everything we needed to make meals. The extra bathroom was handy. The location was great, right across from a lovely beach where we could swim, snorkel, and boogie board! Also, walking distance to great places and eat and shop. We loved going from swimming at the beach during sunset to hopping in the pool and hot tubs at Kamaole Sands! We hope this place is available for our next trip to Maui!

We will be back! Fantastic location walking distance to beaches and restaurants, and just a short drive to Wailea. Great condo - clean, modern, great beachy feel, really well appointed with new appliances and everything you need, and the common spaces are beautiful and well maintained (grills, pool etc). Had a lanai door issue while we were there (no one's fault - just finally wore out) and someone was there to fix it super quickly, and the maintenance employee had great recommendations for food and things to do. We could not recommend this property more enthusiastically - we loved it.

The space was perfect! It was pretty central, conveniently located near all the restaurants, a Foodland and freeway. Not to mention, it was a 5 minute walk to the beach! My husband and I walked to the beach for sunsets. They provided beach chairs and towels. The building itself is very peaceful and quiet. It set the perfect tone for a relaxing baby moon! My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much and would probably book this place again if we ever come back in the future!

We absolutely loved this condo. It is renovated so beautiful. It is exactly as the pictures show. Communication was easy with the property manager. The condo is well stocked with everything you need. We truly felt like we were home away from home. One of the cleanest, well stocked, nice rentals we've stayed at. Our small family appreciated how comfortable the beds were, and the cleanliness. The kitchen was very well stocked with anything you need. The beach chairs, umbrella, and sand toys were much appreciated. The pool area was nice. Plenty of room and hot tubs. Only down side is you can't have balls, or play games (Marco polo) or any tricks in the pool itself. The kids didn't love that. Overall, It's an amazing condo!

This is our 5th time staying at Kamaole Sands. We usually book directly through Castle Resorts but decided to try a private listing on Vrbo instead. As usual, we loved our stay at this condo complex. It’s perfectly located to our favorite place to watch the sunset (across the street) and just down the road from our favorite beach (Keawakapu). This particular unit was excellent. You can tell a lot of care was put into its remodel. It makes you feel like you are at home. You have everything you need. I highly recommend staying at Kamaole Sands to anyone and going forward I will also recommend this property management company.

The only downfall was the lanai overlooks a well-traveled road where people park their run-down vehicles. Just takes away from the beauty. But the unit itself was fantastic! My son slept decently on the couch pull out which has a 3 inch thick memory foam mattress. The main bed was very comfortable and the bedding feels really nice. I do have back issues so this is always a concern for me but I had no problems at all. The kitchen is well stocked and there is a slight variety of seasonings shared from others. There were at least eight beach towels available and the cooler and chairs were absolutely handy! Definitely would recommend and stay here again. Mahalo!

Beautiful unit in a good, central location! We loved being able to walk to Kamaole Beach Park III to catch sunsets. The host was really good at communicating the information we needed before, during, and after our stay, and had quick responses to any questions I had. The unit was very clean and felt newly remodeled, but there's no view out of the windows if that's important to you. The only problem we had was the wifi didn't reach the bedroom so we had to go to the living room to do anything on our laptops/phones. Other than that, everything was perfect and so convenient that they provided all the beach gear we needed for our entire stay, and the in-unit washer/dryer was extremely useful. Would stay here again in future visits!

The apartment is beautiful and exactly as it looks in the photos. The location is perfect for exploring all of Maui. Vacation Maui was very attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Property was exactly what we were looking for. Very nice remodel. Comfortable bed and very clean. Chairs and boogie boards came in handy with a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Our favorite perk was being so close to the outdoor Webber grill right downstairs. Pull out couch was a bit lumpy and very squeaky. All in all great stay.

We have been coming to Maui for 12 years amd staying in different units at Kamoale but this by far is the best unit so far! The unit was clean, the king size bed was comfortable, it had a high top kitchen area that was perfect for us. The only problem was that we had some difficulty contacting the property Manager on the thanksgiving long weekend when an alarm went off in the unit that we couldn’t shut down. In addition we had a problem locking the patio door which again was difficult having it attended to. Once we were able to make contact and have someone attend, the problems were resolved. Clearer identification of who we needed to call would have been helpful. Overall, loved the unit.
