This 2,500 sq. ft. luxury home is at the end of a cul-de-sac in the amazing Ka Milo development of Mauna Lani. It features 4 bedrooms and 3 and 1/2 baths, sleeping up to 10.
Bedroom descriptions: The owner's suite on the bottom floor has a king bed, a 50-inch flat screen TV, a beautiful lanai, a gigantic bathroom with soaking tub, shower and separate toilet, and a walk-in closet. Two other bedrooms are located on the bottom floor, one with a queen bed and a queen sofa sleeper (also has a 50 inch flat screen TV plus a game console that make this a perfect spot for the kids) and one room with a queen bed. Both have lanais that open up to the grassy, palm-lined backyard. An additional full bath and a laundry room are found on this floor with washer and dryer for your use. On the first floor, you find a junior owner's suite with a king bed, 50 inch TV, and private bath with shower.
Great room: On the first floor, you enter the home to a beautiful, open great room. Bamboo floors, designer furniture, mat ceiling with ceiling fans and gigantic panel windows that open to an expansive lanai make for a perfect gathering place for family and friends. The gourmet kitchen is stocked with the equipment you need to serve up a feast, including appliances, dishware, cooking ware, coffee maker, blender, and spices. There is a 65 inch flat-screen HDTV, DVD player, and Sound Bar for your entertainment. We have books, board games, video games and DVDs for you to entertain yourself with after a full day at the beach.
Lanai: The floor to ceiling glass panel doors in the living area completely disappear and open up to the spacious lanai. Sip coffee while watching the sunrise or enjoy cocktails in the evening. You can barbecue a full meal out here, taking in the lovely views of, both, Mauna Kea and Kohala volcanoes.

Ka Milo Community: Ka Milo is a low density, gated community with lush, tropical landscaping and a beautiful 2-acre recreation area. Nestled in the center of the development, the recreation area features an expansive lagoon style pool with wading area, a refreshing lap pool, 2 hot tubs, a fitness center with cardio and strength training equipment, sprawling lawns, and an enormous gathering pavilion with barbecues and tables. Enjoy the smell of plumeria as you walk from the house to the rec area. Elsewhere on the property, there is a community putting green.
Mauna Lani: Mauna Lani has two world class golf courses, a beach club, a Spa and Fitness center, restaurants and shops.
Mauna Lani Beach Club: When staying at our home, you will have full access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club, just two miles away. There you will find a private parking lot, lounge chairs, restrooms, equipment rentals and a restaurant. The water is shallow and sheltered, which is great for beginner snorkelers and kids, and a life guard is on duty during peak hours. Next to the beach are the Historic Fish Ponds where you can walk, explore and enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian sunset.

Very nice place, the view of Mauna Kea sunrise is unmatched on the island. Having the pigs run through the back a couple mornings was an added excitement.
We were a family of 9 including one infant and two preschoolers plus three couples. This place was absolutely perfect! Lovely home. Quiet neighborhood. Access to beach club was particularly terrific. Safe and pretty place for children. Plus very fine snorkeling for those willing to go a bit outside the bay.
Our group of 6 stayed here for a week during our annual trip to Hawaii. The bedrooms were a perfect fit for us all and having 3.5 baths was very nice. The layout of the house is just perfect, we all had space and gathered in the main living area to play cards and hang out together. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, pots and pans were great, everything very clean and in good working order. The lanai was a perfect place to relax and having the option of opening the sliding glass wall was so lovely in the evening. Grill on lanai worked great. The walk to the community pool/fitness center was under 5 minutes. Having access to the beaches nearby was a huge bonus. We were able to use the bikes in the garage and that was such a hit with the whole group. Also supplied are snorkels, boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs and a cart to carry it all in. The house has everything you need. Communication with the owner was easy. I recommend 100% and would book the house again in a heartbeat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
Our family of ten—six adults and four children ages 2 to 6 had a wonderful time at this beautiful Ka Milo house. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Kids loved the pool and access to Maura Lani beach club which had nice calm water, good snorkeling.
The house is spacious, modern, and has a great kitchen for cooking meals which we used extensively due to the young children.
Balcony looks towards the mountain and is very peaceful.
Owner is very responsive.

I have read horror stories over the years of vacation rental owners falsely accusing renters of property damage, and unfortunately we are now victims of property damage accusations, and in our opinion, with no substantiation of claims. The vacation started out a bit rocky, as we checked in and found the master toilet seat broken. The owner promised to get it fixed, but that didn't happen (and then the owner accused us of breaking it after we checked out). We were a bit disappointed in the unit, it was outdated, living room furniture did not accommodate more than 4 people, and very dark, you need to have the lights on all day in common living areas, and you cannot view the spectacular Hawaiian sunsets from the lanai. Because of these factors, we decided to have all our meals out and enjoy the Island. Basically we spent very little time in the unit. A few days after we checked out, I inquired about the timing of getting back our property damage deposit and received a text from the owner with the most outlandish accusations. I was flabbergasted, asked for pictures of these allegations. The pictures in our opinion did not support the accusations, they hardly amounted to anything but standard cleaning, which we had already paid. I did suggest to the owner to have a phone conversation regarding the situation, but there was no reciprocation. The owner relied completely on hearsay (from the housecleaners, owners did not inspect unit) had dubious pictures that did not support their accusations, and they raced to withhold our deposit. My brother in law also patched a flat on one of the bikes and bought the owners two new tires, which he did not ask to be reimbursed. No thanks from the owners on this. We have rented a handful of condos over the years in Ka Milo and surrounding communities with no problems. We are in shock of these accusations against us. Beware.

We truly had an amazing time in Hawaii. A big part of this was this home. Everyone loved the space. We had three couples. My wife and I had our two kids and our brother in law and wife had their new son. Grandma and Grandpa joined as well. With all the noise of kids it was never and issue if someone was still sleeping. House was super quiet. The view from the lanai was spectacular each morning with the sun rising over the volcanos. We love to cool and appreciated all the amenities in the kitchen. Access was super easy and they had all the necessary beach items that you can’t travel with. The beach access was perfect for our group. We rented a golf cart separately and loved having this for getting around. The pool down the street was perfect for our kids as an alternative to the ocean. The host was extremely responsive, prompt, and detailed in communication. I would highly recommend this home and if we return we’d book again!
this area is beautiful, well maintained, but be sure to get gas, groceries etc before you leave Kona because it takes a lotof valuable time to make the trip in. we found beautiful beaches and fun restautants, mostly in Waimea for the restaurants.
The house, property, and community were all first rate. The house was well furnished and clean, and comfortably slept four couples, and handled group dinners and dining with ease.
The house also came with toys that made the trip even more pleasurable including beach chairs, boogie boards, and bicycles.
The location was great, with view of the mountains, close walk to community pool and beach area, and conveniently located to roads for exploring the island.
Had a great time and whole heartedly recommend this property for anyone's vacation central.

This property located in a very nice neighborhood with convenient access to the nice beaches and golf courses on the island. It’s not however for the night life type of visitors as most bar and entertaining venues are located in Kona, 20 miles away.
The property is well layout for 8 adults in a very quiet community. It also has most of needed items for a family gathering or occasional outings.
Highly recommend. We would love to come back again.

Excellent amenities including beach gear and a well-stocked kitchen so we could make quite a few meals at home. Four bedrooms great for each couple to have private space. Very clean- and I’m picky. Loved the lanai and the lush landscaping- paradise all around.
Having a master and Jr master when there are 2 couples is great. We then a bedroom for each teen. Everyone was happy. The kitchen living space was also perfect and well supplied
The property was great all around - clean, spacious, great layout and enjoyed the complex with pool and gym. Central location for all the things we did and found it very livable. Would definitely recommend and come again!
We needed a 4 BR condo for our crew and this was absolutely perfect. Location was a great basecamp for exploring Hawai'i Island.

We celebrated our 20 years anniversary with our 7 people family and given the place sleeps 10 everyone had more than enough room.
Everything without hick ups. From instant communication with Jeannie to cleanliness and access to amendities. Outside of gym restriction to 4 entries at a time we did barely feel we are in reopening craze. The family truly enjoyed the luxurious property which is even nicer than our own home. 😉
Our family of 5 and friend really enjoyed our stay at the Misty Ohana property! It was the perfect location for an amazing vacation. The property was staged beautifully and comes equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There are shops, gorgeous beaches and hiking close by. The property includes access to a private beach club with restaurant (great food & drinks!) and paddle board rentals. The owner also provides bikes, towels, beach toys and boggie boards, etc. for your beach outings. We definitely recommend Jeannie's home to family and friends & look forward to returning soon! This property is wonderful. We had nine of us in this home, but we never felt crowded. It is spacious, allowing people to spread out, but also gather in the kitchen and on the main floor lanai. The house’s furniture, decor, and condition are top notch and the property managers have thought of just about anything one may need. The beach equipment and bikes are also a wonderful perk. The pools are not resort quality, but they provide entertainment and a place to cool down. Not a big deal as we spent much more time at the beaches than we did the pool. The location of the home is also close to many beaches and a small grocery store for the items that you need to grab. The property owners are responsive and the check in and check out process were a breeze! We had a wonderful time in Hawaii!
This house is our favorite vacation spot - we’ve stayed twice. We cherish our time here and miss it when we are away. It is so well appointment, beautiful, and relaxing.
The community pool is never crowded and our favorite place to be when we are there.
We will obviously be back.
for more than two weeks our family (6 adults and 3 children) had a blast. The home with its great layout (three bedrooms downstairs, one bedroom upstairs), and spacious areas to eat and play made our stay memorable.
Lots of time at the beginning and ending of nearly each day was spent at the pool. It was a huge hit for all the kids.
The location was ideal for day trips to beaches and National Parks, Shopping was a breeze, right down the road for almost anything we needed.
Jeannie was great and was quick to respond to any/all questions we had.
