We found this to be the perfect condo for two couples. It was extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need for cooking, grilling, playing at the beach or just relaxing on the beautiful and private Lani. The location is brilliant, close to shops, the beach club, golf course and hotels. The interior decorating is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures and the beds are extremely comfortable. The communication was always timely and very helpful. I would definitely book this condo again! Mahalo

Great except better to have twin beds in downstairs room or foldaway sofa in living room. The bed was too small for two boys. Not all bikes were rideable even after two visits from management. Tires need replaced, brakes need maintenance. Check out time is too early

We really enjoyed our stay at Makai Living at Fairways at Mauna Lani. The home is tastefully decorated and larger than we expected. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything we needed. The community is gated with a beautiful community pool complex just steps from the lanai door. It was a short drive to the Beach Club with ample parking, it was never an issue. We loved snorkeling the reef at the beach club which was full of colourful coral and fish. We recommend dinner reservations at either the Fairmont or Auberge which are a short drive away and a great place to watch sunset over dinner and drinks. The garage was well equipped with beach chairs, snorkel equipment, umrellas, etc which we used almost every day. We did have an issue when we arrived the air conditioning was not working. They had reset it but neglected to turn it back on and because the maintenance team finishes at 5pm we weren’t sure what to do with a hot house, but turned it on and it worked. We had serveral more issues with a/c over the course of our stay. It’s challenging because it’s working when you leave to the beach and then not working when you return home and by that time the maintenance team are gone again. The a/c unit is older and likely needs replaced. We hoped that since they recognized there was an issue that they may check up on the house more frequently but wasn’t the case. Overall it worked about 60% of the stay. We also wanted to point out that there are biting flies that arrive on the lanai just before dinner so we didn’t BBQ in the end, and had to be careful opening the lanai screen. We are sure they will resolve the A/C issue and we would happily stay here again in future. It’s a great place. Thank you Jeff and Suzanne for having us!

Where do I start...the property is gorgeous! I loved the overall vibes and decor of this property. It was very clean and well taken care of. It did not disappoint! They have thought about everything - from kitchen necessities to beach necessities to bath/laundry necessities - not to mention extras like books, games/puzzles, outdoor kitchen, etc The property guidebook was a great reference for the condo in general, as well as what to see/do in the area. The location is close to great sandy beaches (Kauha'oa Beach-Mauna Kea & Anaeho'omalu Beach) and shopping. We had a couple of minor questions and they were addressed very quickly! Check-in and check-out at the property was super easy. Highly recommend for ANYONE!

This place is truly as advertised. You walk in and the unit looks like it is staged for sale. It is so nicely decorated and stocked. There is literally everything you could need to enjoy the beaches and it is all new, our kids even made friends and rode the bikes around the complex. The kitchen is also very well stocked. The beds were comfortable and the linens and towels (including loads of beach towels) were really nice. This place feels like a well loved and cared for place-unlike so very many we have rented in the past. The beach club is really nice to have access to. The snorkeling right off the beach there is fantastic, we saw so many fish and even swam with sea turtles right there. Highly highly recommend this specific unit and rental company. We will be back!

Recently remodeled, owners/rental company have added some nice touches in terms of furnishings and available items. Beds were comfortable, lots of pillow options, right amount of items in the kitchen, garage had a nice selection of beach and play items, and the home was very clean. Fast, reliable internet: I was able to work remotely for several days using multiple devices with no issues. A great, quiet place to stay!

We did not want to leave . The unit exceeded expectations . Wonderfully outfitted , great for cooking .fabulous outdoor BBQ. All housewares very nicely curated .
Access to the beach club made our stay .
My 27 and 22 year old kids did not want to leave .
Lots of great “ toys “ in the garage- bikes, bogies boards, beach chairs.
Definitely coming back soon.

My wife and I were very fortunate to find this property for a last-minute vacation. This condo has just been renovated and is clean, modern and comfortable. We think we were probably the first guests to stay there because it looked untouched -- with labels still on some things and all supplies completely stocked.
We have stayed in the Waikoloa area a few times and it's one of our favorites. The Fairways complex is located away from most of the activity, so it's quiet while still being close to the Mauna Lani shopping area (which is unfortunately a little vacant post Covid). Another nice thing about this complex is the units are two-level condos, so there is nobody above or below you which probably keeps things quieter during the busy season.
The condo itself is well laid out with the master upstairs. The design is clean and bright, and all the furniture is very comfortable. The lanai is private thanks to the landscaping that shields it from the parking lot view.
It is no doubt the best stocked condo we've ever stayed in. The kitchen has everything you'll need -- including rice maker, wok, plenty of cooking utensils, etc.... There was even some ice packs in the freezer for the beach cooler, which we've never seen in a condo. Nice touch. In the garage, you'll find everything you need for the beach. Plus, having a couple bikes to use was fantastic.
The Paradise in Hawaii team has the arrival process dialed in and was very responsive to our questions. We got locked out once when the door code stopped working and were missing the pool key when we got there, but both issues were resolved quickly.
Overall, we highly recommend this property.
