Cutest condo ever with amazing ocean views and a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Complex is great with 2 pools and a tennis court. Had everything we could’ve needed for cooking and for the beach. Thanks for sharing it with us!

We enjoyed our 8 day/7 night stay at the condo. Self check in was very easy. Great view of the ocean from the balcony. Lots of amenities in the kitchen that was appreciated. The closet had great stuff to use (boogie boards, coolers, chairs, wagon, snorkeling stuff). Very clean upon arrival. As a couple other reviewers pointed out, the condo is close to the main road so you will hear some car noise out on the lanai. Also, I hope the owners/ management group reconsider the amenities in the “starter pack” - we found ourselves rationing bath products the last couple of days. No other condo we’ve stayed at limited bath/kitchen products like that.

This was a lovely condo in south Kihei. It was clean and comfortable, with an ocean view from the lanai. Parking was steps from the condo, and the walk to the pool or to the beach was just a minute or two. We would definitely stay again.

Our entire experience with Rentals Maui was excellent! Very attentive and responsive. Easy to deal with and kept us regularly informed. It was a great experience using the Hospitality app where all our reservation information was readily accessible without searching emails. The unit was just as described, very clean, nice to have beach gear and the ocean view from porch amazing. Lots of hangers and closets, storage spaces. Lots of room for a family of 5. When an AC unit wasn’t suddenly working, they quickly addressed and has a technician out same day. The condo, surrounding grounds and amenities were maintained high standard. Very good mattress in sofa bed where our 17 yr old son slept and 19,10 yr old daughters shared loft king bed which also excellent condition. The main floor bedroom king bed mattress is showing age, and recommend it be replaced along with bedroom carpeting showing age with some lifting, and spotting. Only issue was the roosters that took some getting used to, and ear plugs/white noise to drown out :)Location excellent only 5 min from Komaoele beach 3. However it is a good 20+ min walk to a nearby coffee shop/grocery etc. This trip was a once in a lifetime experience for our family of 5, and it was a memorable time in Maui!

We had a wonderful time in Maui. My family and I really enjoyed the condo. It was spacious and all the beds including the sofa bed was comfortable. Great view from the lanai, perfect for breakfast or a beer and poke after the beach, which is just a short walk away. The only complaint is that there were flies in the first floor bathroom. I get its an island and there are bugs, its not the first time we've encountered other guests in the condo. But this won't deter us from coming back to this specific condo. Mahalo for a great stay!

Great views from the lanai, walk to the beach, small boat harbor, shops, restaurants. Easy access to to other parts of the island and the great beaches to the South. Property is very nice except for all of the chickens and roosters crowing at all hours. Condo interior getting a little worn, but everything fully functional and well stocked except the upstairs AC is very weak and probably wouldn't be OK in summer. Would be nice to be provided with more amenities and not just a "starter pack", especially for longer stays, but it was clear in the fine print. The 15 minute 3D whale movie at the Maui Ocean Center is worth the price of admission and the Makenna snorkeling is excellent on most all beaches South of the Wailea resorts. Make sure to check the summit cam before venturing up to Haleakela as the weather is unpredictable. The small, family run Kula gardens is a good back up plan if you like exotic plants and flowers. Was there for two weeks and stayed clear of Lahaina and Kaanapali; just didn't want to deal with the traffic/crowds and there was plenty to do in/around Kihei.

The first time being back in Maui in 4 years could not be better than starting off with this condo. The views are amazing and the condo was very spacious that the 6 of us had room. The condo had everything we needed plus more. The awning on the Lanai is a great touch as it never got too hot not to sit out there. The only problem with this stay was that it wasn't long enough. Definitely will book again whenever our next trip to Maui takes place. Mahalo

From start to end it was a fabulous experience. Check in was easy, no one from management invading your space or time.
The location was great , close to beach, shopping and dining. The condo was clean , spacious, awesome view , lots of beach equipment and beautiful sunset of the deck very night.
Even the local rooster made sure we were up early to enjoy our morning coffee on the deck with another amazing view.
Highly recommend this experience to anyone that might be hesitant to commit to such a wonderful stay.

We really like Maui Kamaole. Have stayed here several times, in a different unit every time. This unit, G-201, we chose because it looked updated, well-kept and had an ocean view. However, there were things we were not impressed with. First, when we got into the unit at 4pm, it was very hot. It took several hours for the ductless a/c units to cool it down to the point where we could sleep comfortably. We know you're supposed to turn off the a/c's before leaving the unit for the day, but we didn't trust that was going to work out well, so we left the temp on 78 and also kept the lanai shutters closed.
Also, the carpeting in both bedrooms is sorely in need of replacement. Additionally, the shower floor of the guest bathroom was dated and worn out.
Another (one-time) issue was the appearance of a couple of cockroaches, both rather large. My son-in-law was taking the extra pillows out of the upstairs bedroom closet and a "friend" came along with the pillows. The other was found dead on the kitchen floor.
Now for the good, because there were good things. The kitchen and main living area were very nice. We had all we needed in the kitchen. The beach chairs and umbrella seemed on the newer side, which was nice. Also, we appreciated the large beach towels and the ample-sized cooler.
Still, we had a lovely time and look forward to coming back to Maui Kamaole again.

The property is beautifully laid out and nicely furnished. It fit our family of six well. It was within walking distance of several nice beaches, and our kids enjoyed the common pool in the complex. Check in and check out was clear and easy to follow. No issues. Great place and great host.

We came in on Wednesday the 20 th and super easy check in. Went in and loved it! Our nephew got married on the golf course on Friday which was absolutely beautiful! And we left on Monday. We loved everything about the unit especially the AC after hot days of hiking and snorkeling and just walking up and down the street that is right in front you can walk to all the beaches, food and shopping the AC was greatly appreciated ! We also used the pool for a couple hours before we went to dinner. I love you are walking distance form everything! Also we definitely over packed having the washer and dryer available was fantastic! We will definitely stay here again! Thank you for having a great place to stay!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Maui Kamaole!! The grounds were pristine and tropical, making it feel like a resort but without the crowds. We ate breakfast on the lanai every morning to enjoy the incredible views, and spent evenings at the beach right across from us for sunsets. Our building was closest to the street, yet set back enough that you don't hear any traffic. We appreciated the super cool AC (both upstairs and down) when we needed a break from the heat. We have stayed in Kihei many times and this unit was by far our favorite. Close enough to the stores & restaurants you could walk or drive, but far enough away that you don't have to see them out your windows. The unit itself was clean, well stocked, and decorated super cute! Everything was as pictured, but even better in person. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us!!

The property was clean, updated and had more than we needed. Perfect location for us and 2 teenagers. Shops within walking distance. The nightly sunset from the deck or beach was amazing. The only disappointment was there were not at least 2 beach chairs for the adults. I would stay here again and I have recommended to friends and family

We wished we were staying longer. This place was just perfect for us two with extra room to spare. My husband was able to work in the extra bedroom and the balcony and table was the perfect retreat to unwind and watch the whales. I loved that the condo had an upstairs and two bathrooms it really made it feel like a home and we hope to book this exact same place next time we come to Maui. Place was perfect, location was perfect, and check in and check out was perfect and easy.

My husband and I brought our nine year old twins and my grandmother on vacation to Maui. This property was extremely convenient in terms of location and amenities, exactly as listed. Great time, place had a pool, walking distance to beach and had beach chair, wagons and supplies and some card games that were a lot of fun to play with. Only feedback is that the door can easily be unlocked from the inside by turning the knob, making it easy for my toddler to “escape”. Suggestion to add another locking mechanism or a solution to prevent this.

The Good: Great location, beautiful condo with just about anything you need (kitchen, lanai, cable tv, great views, washer/dryer, close parking). Easy electronic entry/exit that didn’t require any interaction with staff (getting keys etc).The Bad: very confusing process for renting ... secured and paid for place thru Expedia; signed multiple electronic agreements from VRBO; contacted and harassed multiple times during 3-night stay by management and security staff of condo... more belowThe real and unexpected nuisance was the on site condo management who left messages on our door demanding that we send them our COVID vaccination cards and forward an email that we had read their “often forgotten” condo rules (after we had already sent one prior email)... just very odd and pushy... they even contacted us after we left to explain that our medical information was not protected under HIPPAA since “they don’t show it to anyone else.”Ultimately, this place served our purposes well (just a comfortable place to sleep in a central area of Maui), but I’d look for a different option as long as the condo association feels the need to oversee VRBO, the owner, and Expedia in the process of a 3-day rental... just too much, unnecessary, and obnoxious hassling that negated from an otherwise very nice place.
