My wife and I were extremely pleasantly surprised by this unit. It is on the second floor, has a tremendous ocean view and is adjacent The Beach House, a great place for a romantic dinner!
We were also happy that the unit was well equipped and had good cross ventilation (a major factor in Kauai where all but the nicest places lack AC - a downside in many condos on the island). There is also an elevator, which makes access much easier. A great stay. We would come again.

The view is breathtaking! We saw dozens of sea turtles everyday. Pictures don’t do it justice.
We found it clean and even though we didn’t cook, the kitchen seemed well equipped. Furniture was older and not super comfy, but we chose this location for the view and it did not disappoint.
Air conditioning would have made it more comfortable as well. Even with the ocean breeze and fans it felt a little stuffy sometimes. Despite that, we would definitely stay here again!

A fabulous condo! The view is breathtaking, the unit was super clean and had everything we needed to cook some of our meals. The bed was very comfortable, the deck has good views of both the East and West. The location is great because it isn't near a HUGE beach but very close to a small beach near the Beach House restaurant that has wonderful snorkeling! Easy to walk to stores or take a longer walk to Poipu beach, or out toward Spouting Horn. Dayna was quick to reply to any questions, we would love to stay here again!

The condo was sparkling clean when we arrived. It is a great place, right on the water. We saw turtles from the lanai. Nice beach for snorkeling adjacent. Definitely a place to rent again.

We spent a week in Condo 213 and enjoyed our time, immensely. We were able to enjoy each day’s lovely sunrise and sunset. The location is close to many fun activities and wonderful beaches.
The owners and property managers were readily available and friendly. This was a great choice for us.

What a breathtaking ocean view from the balcony! Over our 17 day stay we watched surfers, sunsets and even a pod of rarely seen false killer whales. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen, and thenumerous amenities (the condo ukulele and the binoculars for improved ocean watching.). Dayna was immediately available and responsive the morning I called her when dishwasher wouldn’t drain. Albert was in the suite within minutes and fixed the problem. This felt like our home away from home and we can’t recommend it enough!

The property is ideal for viewing the ocean, sunrise, sunset, turtles, dolphins, snorkelers, surfers, divers, and the dark night sky. The condo itself is very well equipped and comfortable. We appreciated that binoculars were available for ocean viewing, and that beach gear was provided. Air conditioning would have been nice, but the several ceiling fans and open floor plan, with flow through ventilation compensated. We would definitely come back to this location on future visits to the island.

This place is way more than we had expected or even hoped for. The view is stunning, the location is exceptional, the sea turtles are out every morning around 7am which for my wife was like seeing a unicorn everyday! It’s hard to put into words, I highly recommend this location, thank you for an amazing time.

Oddly, we discovered that we had stayed at Kuhio Shores 32 years ago!! We loved it then and felt the same this time. The lanai RIGHT on the ocean is mesmerizing with the waves coming up 10-20’ away. The sound of the surf assures a good night’s sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The property manager was very responsive when we reached out to ensure we had a great experience. Loved watching the surfers and turtles on our beach side deck. Although there is not air conditioning, the unit cooled down nicely in the evening and there were plenty of fans to move air around.

My husband and I loved Dayna’s condo. It was very clean, super comfortable & offered some of the best views of the ocean we’ve ever seen. The property at Kuhio Shores is well-maintained and lovely. It's a bonus to have an elevator, plus a luggage cart you can borrow--think, lugging luggage in and out! The condo was beautiful and very comfortable. We loved it!

The view and location were an incredible way to end our 8 days in Kauai. We are already planning to return next year!! Everything was amazing and we appreciated how many amenities were in the unit, although we were not able to use them all. It is good to know for next time!

This was a beautiful and comfortable space for our week on Kauai. It's close to some great landmarks, shops and restaurants. There's lots of space to stretch out and the ocean view is gorgeous. I loved hearing the waves at night! The check in and check out was super easy and I would definitely consider this place for my next Kauai visit.

The unit was exactly as advertised with wonderful amenities, including extra towels and beach gear. It has a good snorkelling beach next door and the surf pounding on the rocks lulled us to sleep every night. We especially enjoyed watching the surfers and boogy boarders every day and the terrific sunsets nightly.

For us the location of condo with its immediate balcony and window views of the Ocean were the highlight of our stay, and we couldn’t have wanted more for our first trip to Kauai. The condo was comfortable and has everything we needed. Our host Dayna was very helpful. The location is great for walking to restaurants, snorkeling, and watching surfers and turtles.

This is my first time using VRBO and I could not be any happier! I reached out to the property owner to ask a few questions about the property and the process and always received a quick reply with exactly the information I needed. The room is located in what might just be the most perfect place on Kauai when it comes to falling asleep to the sounds of the mighty ocean and waking up to spectral views. The property was exactly as described online. The beach at Lawai is located just next to the property and offered us the best snorkeling experience literally steps from our door. We had an incredible experience from start to finish. We didn’t want to leave but we knew we had to leave in order to be able to come back!

Dayna was extremely helpful and responsive to any and all questions and the apartment was perfect. You are right on the ocean and can sleep at night listening to the crashing waves. The Beach House restaurant is directly next door and was our favorite meal on the island too. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Beautiful view. Best location in Poipu, we snorkeled w turtles right in front of the condo but even better were the Indian Ringneck Parakeets that fly in every night to roost in the trees nearby. Like being in a Nat Geo special! Appreciated beach chairs/boogie boards, etc being in perfect condition. Kitchen had a few glitches but owner very accessible and helpful. Very comfortable bed- and we are picky. Overall great experience.

Where to begin???? This is an amazing place to stay on the south shore of Kauai! The location is perfect, within walking distance to many restaurants and shops. The view from the lanai is out of this world...watched surfers while having coffee in the morning and saw sea turtles in the evening. The condo sticks out from the rest of the building which adds to the amazing view. This is a quiet building, with designated quiet hours, which adds to the tranquility of the location. The condo is spotless and has everything you need. The owner was very accommodating to our schedule and always easy to communicate with. I would give this more than 5 stars if I could! When we come back to Kauai we will definitely stay here.

My husband and I spent a week here in September and had a wonderful time! You cannot neat this view anywhere else. We have stayed in other condos there and this was one of the best. Dayna has everything there to make your vacation complete! The beach chairs, towels , cooler and Kauai guidebooks went everywhere with us. We woke up to turtles in front of the condo every morning and spent a couple of nights on the lanai with wine and the stars. We loved dinner and the “Beach House” right next door and the snorkeling out front was the best on the island. We can’t wait to go back and stay here again! It is seldom that you find something that exceeds expectations. We came to this place very excited about the location and accomodations. We were not disappointed. The views of the ocean are spectacular. The floor plan is an amazing use of space. The bed was extremely comfortable. The location was perfect - you can walk to Spouting Horn and Allerton Gardens or to a number of shops and restaurants. We noticed that everyone we met were happy to be there. We have been to Kauai many times in the past, but this was our first condo experience. I would expect that we will be back to this special place. Many mahalos to the owners and the on site management.
