This condo was absolutely perfect for our Big Island vacation! It was exactly as described and impeccably clean. The location can't be beat with one of the best snorkeling beaches just across the street. It is one of the best stocked properties I have stayed in and we loved the beach toys, boogie boards, pool toys, coolers, beach mats/umbrellas, and snorkel equipment. Everything we needed was right there! The beds were comfy and the AC worked well. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals in the condo which saved us a ton of money. The pool was a great place to relax when we were done with the beach or other activities. There is nothing I would change about this property and will gladly return next time I am on Big Island!

This large apartment with two bedrooms and bathrooms is clean, comfortable and well equipped.
The standout feature though is the truly wonderful location. Lovely sunsets from the balcony and direct access to a world class
Snorkeling beach. There’s also a section of beach suitable for beginner surfing.
A car will be useful though as it’s a little distance away from shops and the busier part of town for restaurants etc.
we’d return here in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay in Kailua-Kona. The property was exactly as it is described and shown in the pictures. The lanai has a great view of the beach and is a perfect place to watch the sunset or listen to the birds when the sun comes up. It was really nice having a second bedroom and bathroom for our kids and they were obsessed with the turtle pool in the complex. The property was clean and lovely and had everything we could possibly need for our stay.

We loved our stay at this amazing condo and could not speak more highly of it! The views, the clean updated features and the quiet peaceful pool. We spent so much time enjoying ourselves and relaxing on the lanai and pool area that we often chose to go “home” vs exploring the island more.
The best we’re super comfortable, everything we needed and a place of refuge. Our only regret is not staying long. Mahalo Cara for your wonderful communication and hospitality!

This condo was amazing! Cara was great about letting us know there might be some building painting happening during our stay. But everything worked out and we really enjoyed the lanai and pool. Access to the most wonderful snorkeling beach just across the street was a true highlight for us. The condo was furnished and stocked with everything we needed. Wonderful experience!

We loved the condo and the location. It was very clean, well organized and stocked with everything we needed and more. The lanai opened to the living room and primary bedroom and had a beautiful ocean view. We truly liked the location, away from busy downtown of Kailua-Kona yet close enough to get there by short car ride or bike. The walk along the ocean site is so beautiful, we walked to the downtown one day and rented the bike back through bike sharing program ( the bike sharing station is next to the condo complex). We already make plans to come back next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in a heartbeat. The condo had everything we needed plus welcomed extras such as a sun shade and cooler for taking to the beach. We enjoyed walking across the street to go snorkeling whenever we wanted to. The pool area was very nice, and we enjoyed eating on the lanai each night. One slider door needs the seal replaced and the outdoor ceiling fan wouldn’t turn on. They had been replaced building-wide during our stay, and it seems like something went wrong during installation. I’d be surprised if it hasn’t been fixed since our stay. The management was extremely responsive and truly exceptional to work with. My only complaint was that when someone came to repair the washer, i indicated that we would require anyone entering the condo to be masked. The local person employed by the condo owner showed up at my door without a mask. I did give her a mask and she wore it, but then showed up again shortly later without it. That was disappointing. The management offered to pay if we chose to use a laundry mat, which was very much appreciated. We loved the condo and location, and we can’t wait to return!

Cara was wonderful to work with. The location if you like to snorkel can not be beat. If you like quiet this isn’t the place. The complex wasn’t noisy. The street and pool noise traveled up the building and right into our lanai. It sits on a corner and both streets have loud traffic. The central air is great and the condo was fairly quiet if you shut everything up. None of this is anything the owner can change. It’s the cost of the location. If you aren’t sensitive to noise absolutely stay here. The beds are soft and lumpy. We rotated both mattresses and it did help. The bed pillows are also not great. People are different and have different requirements. It was an issue for us but might be fine for others.

The top floor condo has a fabulous view out over Kahalu’u Beach Park and Kahalu’u Bay. The unit was clean, had comfortable beds, and had everything. The owners were extremely helpful and communications were easy, with prompt replies. We would definitely recommend this property.

This condo shows pride of ownership - everything a traveller could want is provided with very comfortable beds. There is no elevator in the building but the steps to the third floor are worth it. Watch the surfing all day end enjoy the evening sunset. Owners were very responsive in a timely manner and dealt efficiently with. questions. Would highly recommend.

Have stayed in the same building but not in this unit before. It has a great location and proximity to the best snorkel beach in Kona. Love the pool too! It's do relaxing to swim and kick back there after a day at the beach. Condo is well equipped but would be nice if they had a full sized dresser in the master since the closet is really small. In the meantime I suggest you pack light, you dont need much in Kona anyway! I also suggest a few more hooks in the bathroom. The owner is awesome. Very responsive to a little issue we had with the icemaker. Resolved the same day. We will definitely be back.

We spent a week here. Perfect location for beach and day trips around Kona and Kau. We avoided eating out and visited many farmers markets and farm stands. The kitchen had all the items we needed to prepare great meals from farm to fork. It was fantastic eating out on the balcony every nite watching sunset or sipping coffee at sunrise along the coast.

This third-floor condo by the sea with stairway access was perfect with an great view of the pool and sea. The property owner/manager was very friendly and communicated frequently. Finally, the condo was fully stocked, clean, and comfortable.

Loved our stay here! The location is perfect, especially with snorkeling at the Kahalu'u beach (do not miss!). The apartment is beautiful, well-decorated and has an amazing view. It is very spacious with all the amenities. Cara was very responsive throughout our stay and want to specially thank her for the flexibility during checkout. I would definitely come back here!!

This condo was an excellent home base for visiting various attractions along the Kona side of the Big Island. Everything was within 20 minutes. The hosts provided great amenities, like beach towels and flippers for snorkeling. The condo was clean, the bed were comfy, and the water pressure was really good.
This spot let us easily go into Kona for things like an Outrigger tour and the Palace tour, but it also kept us close enough to easily go up to Buddha's Cup for a coffee farm tour. The beach across the street has amazing snorkeling, which was a nice surprise. If I'm back on this coast of the island, I would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay - the property was very nice, and clean. They allowed us to drop our luggage off before check in time, so that we didn’t have to leave it in our rental car, as we had seen several comments saying not to leave anything in cars. The view from the deck was beautiful. Unfortunately we were notified a day or two before we arrived that the central a/c was broken. The owners placed portable a/c units in the bedrooms - which we were so thankful for, but the living area got pretty hot. We loved that could go right across the street for beach/snorkeling - we saw sea turtles and lots of fish! But no restaurants or shops to walk to. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the owners were very communicative and nice!

This place is legit. By far one of the nicest vacation homes I've stayed in. The view of the beach is gorgeous. We spent a ton of time out on the patio. The pool is also top notch with a view of the beach. Since the pool is only shared by people in the small complex, it was practically empty. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and even came with some welcome goodies likes coffee and chocolate. A++ would stay here again.

Cara and John go out of the way to make staying at their beautiful condo a luxurious experience from crisp bright white linens and towels to beach chairs, boogie boards, new snorkel sets and even binoculars for watching the surf action! Very well stocked kitchen with stylish China and high end appliances. We would stay here over the Fairmont every time. The best beginner surfing spot is directly across the street along with great beach snorkeling. Totally amazing sunset view from the patio. The infinity pool and hot tub are a nice wind down to the day. Cara and John just bought the place in March so previous reviews are irrelevant. Thanks again Cara. Will definitely see you again soon.

My 8 year old asked for a pool and beach and we had both! Also close to downtown Kona (15min) and close to a grocery store (5min).
