Loved the place it was well equipped in the kitchen, and very nicely furnished. It has a great view. But there a few things missing; no shower mats for the floor, no pool towels. And wash cloths were hung where there should have been hand towels. I went and bought shower mats as it was slippery to step out wet onto the tile floor. The property management never responded about a kaamaina rate or a later check out.

The condo was beautifully furnished and very comfortable! Very convenient location with great view of the ocean. Remember to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and soap. There is soap in the kitchen and bathrooms but not for the showers. The washer and dryer will take awhile to finish so remember to allow for enough time. Overall a very pleasant stay and we loved it!!

The Good - Beautiful property with an incredible view. Lanais were lovely and good social space. Good communication with management team. Good price for quality.Room to improve - listing says it sleeps 8 but their were only five coffee mugs. lack of simple amenities like coffee filters, paper towels, toilet paper, and hand soap were frustrating. the sleeper bed in the sofa was very uncomfortable, should be replaced. the floor didn't seem to be mopped in a long time, after walking barefoot for a few minutes, bottom of feet were very very dirty.

This is a great location in Wailea. Only a few minutes walking distance to the shops in Wailea. And only a few minutes driving to the best beaches in the Wailea/Kihei area. The vacation rental was perfect for our family of five. The pictures are accurate, but the furniture is getting worn and the living room rug needs a good clean. My biggest concern was the AC in the living room as previous reviews had mentioned it not working. It does not, but a small window-type AC unit was added. It's fine in the morning, but it cannot keep up once the sun comes around the south side and starts to shine in the windows...and it gets very warm upstairs and can't cool down after about 5pm. The good thing is with that sun, you get awesome sunset views from the balcony! The balcony could use a good hose down, but this is a tropical island and there are lots of birds. Good news is the bedrooms are downstairs and we spent most time there (sleeping) and the split AC units there work great. Again, furniture is getting worn, but the mattresses were comfortable. Also, the beach equipment saved us a lot of $ with Tommy Bahama chairs and umbrellas (one needs replaced). The Property Manager was quick to respond to questions/concerns. The property is very quiet and you can tell there are many owners living/staying here. It's an older complex but well maintained outside. I would stay here again if the AC were to be fixed upstairs and some furniture cleaned/replaced. Overall a good stay and nice to be back on Maui.

Overall, I would rate this place a 3/5 starts. It's a 2-level with the laundry/bedrooms downstairs. The rooms/beds were very comfortable and plenty of space for the 4 of us. The upstairs was the kitchen/family room and had a lovely view. However, the upstairs was very warm and hard to enjoy. Guessing the air conditioner didn't work well upstairs, as downstairs was great. A couple other minor suggestions, spruce up the patio area, as such a beautiful view, a welcome gift is always a nice touch and some wine glasses.

The view is great and the location is very well suited to enjoy Wailea. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the air conditioner in the family room and the beach chairs and umbrellas for the convenience of guests. But, overall, our experience was great and we would for sure go back again.

While the location of the townhouse was great, with shopping areas nearby and a short drive to a few local beaches, there were a few aspects of the property that made it less than ideal for our family stay.
A few quirky things be found annoying -
the half-open showers were not to our liking as they got the floors wet
also the stairs can be a bit steep and tricky...make sure your kids aren't running up and down.
Additionally, the washer and dryer were quite loud - we had to use it every day to keep the towels dry.
Few things that were awesome
But access to the patio was nice to enjoy the incredible sunset views with your meal.
Condo has access to beach chairs and a few towels - which came in handy for our trip to the beach.
The condo manager is very responsive to your questions.

Also, the drive to the airport was easy and much shorter than West Maui. We did not use the pool so I can’t comment on that. Nicely decorated and the kitchen was well equipped.

Had a great experience here with four of my other guy friends for a wedding. It was super close to the ocean, golf courses, and Wailea shopping center. The condo was spacious and accommodating. The only thing negative I have to say is that the upstairs area would get significantly hotter than the downstairs area due to the sunshine coming thru the windows.

The condo was perfect for our family of 5. It was very clean and we loved having a washer and dryer. The views of the ocean were spectacular from both the upstairs balcony and the downstairs patio. They also had beach chairs, towels and umbrellas which we loved bringing to the beach.
The location was fabulous right up the hill from the Wailea shops and the beaches are within walking distance although we chose to drive.
I highly recommend this condo if you are looking for a place to stay in Wailea!!

Overall good condition, although missing linens/blankets for the couch bed and a missing pack and play. We had a terrific family vacation staying at this condo. It was the perfect size with nice size rooms, comfortable beds and a spare bed upstairs in the living room. The views are amazing and we took advantage of them nearly every day to watch sunset. The grounds in the entire complex are immaculate, parking is easy and close to the unit and management was extremely responsive from the time we landed through the time we left. A few things needed taken care of and Emily was right on it. I’ll be booking this location again for our next trip if it’s available!

This golf course condo has a wonderful long range view of the ocean. Sunsets were amazing. The condo is very nice, was clean, had adequate supplies to begin your stay and great beach items for your use. The kitchen was adequately equipped, could use more plastic "glasses". The location is ideal for exploring Maui or just staying close to home. The Island Gourmet store provided us many lovely meals! Note that the second full bath downstairs is in the hallway not ensuite. Living, dining, and kitchen areas are large and comfortable. Upstairs deck was our favorite place to be! Management was helpful and easy to work with from rental through checkout.

Love, love this condo. Beautiful view from the lanai, we saw whales and amazing sunsets every day of our stay. Walking distance to great beaches, shopping and great restaurants. We recommend Lineage and Monkeypod two of our favorites. Walkable to Snorkel Bob's and a great coffee shop. Definitely recommend trying out the bar next to Snorkel Bob's great drinks and pizza. This condo is beautiful and the kitchen has everything you need. Comfortable beds! Loved the provided Beach chairs, going to buy one when we get back home! Perfect location right near the Wailea shops. Less than 10 minute walk. 200 yards from the Wailea Blue golf course clubhouse. Hole ten is right below the balcony. Great views of the ocean where you can sit and watch the breaching whales. The place was clean and a perfect place for two couples or even three. Definitely a good choice if you are in the area.

The condo was clean with plenty of sheets towels, beach towels, beach chairs (8), sand toys and other miscellaneous items to clean and enjoy our stay. The kitchen was stocked with plates and pans to cook and with basic seasonings. It had a great ocean view and we saw whales within minutes of our arrival . Nice options to eat and study outside on the decks. We loved it for our family of 8. We used the blow up mattress and all 6 kids slept in the 2nd bedroom. There was toiletries enough to last for a few days. We loved it. 20 minutes from Makena (Big Beach).

Our second stay at the Wailea Ekolu Village exceeded our expectations once again. The location is breathtaking, with immaculate landscaping, and amazing views from our lanai. Extremely clean, stylish, comfortable, relaxing and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need while on vacation. The condo was very nice and had most of the things we needed. If I had any complaints it would be the lack of toiletries. There was little or no toilet paper in the bathrooms., the hand soap was almost empty, and no dish sponge as noted on the list of supplies. For a ten day stay, I would think these essential supplies should be plentiful. Otherwise, we loved the location and the view from the lanai was breathtaking.

We thought we’d never make it back to Maui! Thankfully it was opened back up in November and we didn’t hesitate to book our first vacation in 2 years. We wanted to stay longer than a week so we decided to book a condo vs a hotel (which is what we’ve always done). We found #314 really quickly on VRBO and it was perfect for our family. The bedrooms were downstairs and the living room/kitchen were upstairs along with the outdoor patio which we ate out on virtually every night. We looked forward to watching the sunset and the patio sunset view did not disappoint.
I had to reach out to Van Isle property management only once and they were very quick to respond. The outdoor BBQ was working and they had it replaced the next day.
Overall the property was perfect for us and our family. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend #314!

Convenient location near Four Seasons, Grand Wailea, and Wailea Blue Golf Course. This condo is well decorated with Asian-Inspired furniture and artwork, comfortable furniture, and had a well stocked kitchen. We enjoyed the indoor and private outdoor dining options on our own upstairs porch with a grill. Shared pool was a short walk from this unit, and we visited it daily. The sunsets from this unit are wonderful, we'd definitely stay in this unit on our next trip to Maui!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay. This place is located just minutes from the best beaches in Wailea, but still maintains the seclusion we were looking for. It easily housed our party of 6 and the property management team took exceptional care in making sure everything with our stay was great. If you have older folks in your group, make sure you are careful on the stairs (they can be a bit steep and tricky), but you will have a blast staying here and won't be disappointed.

We loved staying at this condo over Christmas. The location is what makes it 5-star. You can walk to shops, restaurants and the Grand Wailea easily. The beaches are a short drive away. The property was well stocked and very comfortable. It was great to have use of the beach chairs, towels, cooler, etc. We also appreciated the unit having A/C- something not that common in Hawaii. We would definitely return here!

This was a wonderful location for our family of 7 (Kids ranging in age from 9-13). Within walking distance to the shops at Wailea, and many restaurants. Well equipped with everything you will need for your family including beach equipment. Loved the quiet complex, and the view was wonderful-much better than many other rentals we considered. I was a little skeptical at first about staying in a condo. When we arrived the unit was exactly as described. It was spacious and comfortable. I had the opportunity to spend my 54th birthday vacationing in Maui Hawaii. Equal to the beauty of the island was the lovely condo in which we stayed. Trust me the home is as beautiful as the pictures depict. You will appreciate the intricate details that scream we want your stay to be pleasant and inviting. We were a party of 6 and the rooms slept all of us comfortably. The pillows were made of plush memory foam which made for an excellent night sleep. If there was anything additional we needed, Emily was sure to provide it in record timing. We enjoyed all the beauty of Hawaii but returning home each day to such a lovely condo made our stay more enjoyable and peaceful. This is our third time in Maui. First time, mega-hotel - nice but $$$. Second time, condo on the beach and was very nice but $$$. This time we opted for the Ekolu property. This place does not disappoint. Very nice furnishing, lovely view, quiet neighborhood. Could have stayed a month but we'll be back.

This condo is very spacious and comfortable. The two bedrooms are large (one with a king bed, and one with two queen beds) with plenty of storage space. Both bathrooms are large with plenty of counter space, and great showers. The beds are new and comfortable. The kitchen is modern with good appliances and lots of plates, glasses, wine glasses, etc. The furnishings are very tasteful and comfortable. There is a BBQ and an outdoor dining area that seats 6. There is a view of the ocean from the deck.
The location is perfect. You can walk to the Wailea shopping mall where there are restaurants, a gourmet coffee store, groceries and lots of good shopping. The Blue Wailea golf course is a short walk as well. The Wailea beach walk is within walking distance, as is the public beach. However, if you are taking beach chairs and snorkel gear, best to drive and park.
We enjoyed our stay here and recommend it without hesitation.

Wonderful property just as described. Appreciated the supply of beach gear/towels. Perfect location for Maui enjoyment with beaches/shopping within walking distance.

The condo is accurately described and was the perfect size for our family; we enjoyed the privacy of a 2-story layout and the great view off the lanai. Property was very clean, spacious, and withing easy walking distance of the shopping center. The complex was quiet and very well manicured. The A/C is a bonus if you're here on hot days. The kitchen was well supplied if you plan on cooking. We especially enjoyed the large lanai for our cookouts.
We had an issue with an alarm in the condo and Emily was very quick to address the issue.
Good value when compared to hotels. We would definitely return and recommend this place to others.

My husband and three children recently had the opportunity to stay at this condo. We couldn't have been happier with the amenities and the location. The communications were great. Wi-Fi and entertainment in the condo was superb. There is a closet filled with everything you need for the beach except snorkeling gear for adults. We had a great view and enjoyed some great snorkeling nearby. My 21 yo son slept on the pullout sofa with comfort. We will not hesitate to return!

My wife and I with our daughter and her husband stay 7 wonderful night in Emily's place and it was great all though there were a few things that needed to be addressed nothing major,but we called Emily witch was easy by the way she always answers the phone witch in my book is a perk.but she had some one out the same day to address issues,,thanks emily☺️...the pictures you see off the house and the view are what you see when you arrive no fake pictures like some resorts...on a golf cours setting witch is awesome by the way, the restaurant at the course witch is a short walk has great food and friendly peeps.shopping area is great...2 minute walk from restaurant was great...ocean right around the corner about 5-7 minutes....great walk from the condo but after a long day at sea you might want to catch a ride back but it can be done I'm a little on the lazy side when it come to the end of the day but over all everything was great....BUT THERES ALWAYS A BUTT....it was hard to keep living room cool only because of all the windows for the view,so get over it and have a great time we did....thanks again Emily....
