Overall the unit is great. Nice neighborhood and very comfortable. There is noise from the road that can be heard. Kona Coast management was very responsive to questions and needs. Amenity package is a must as the hotel properties are beautiful.

Great location and property layout. It was perfect for our family vacation. There was significant traffic noise when sitting in the backyard during the day but the house was amazing other than that.

Repeat visitor to Wai’ula’ula villas and condos. Terrific to have private pool & hot tub and access to two resorts (extra). Would absolutely return.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo in Mauna Kea! My teen boys LOVED having their own pool and hot tub. The condo is very large and well-equipped! We will definitely be back.

Very comfortable and enjoyable property. The only problem we had was that upon checkin the pool was not cleaned...it took 2 days to get it resolved...we were given a credit for the problem however. Otherwise, we totally loved our stay.

This place was perfect for our family. It was beautiful, clean and well appointed. Everything was labeled so it made it easier to find. The outdoor showers in the master suites were fantastic. We all had a wonderful time and will be back again.

Very expensive property in a lovely neighborhood (where we’ve stayed many times before). But (1) the TVs don’t work and you have to be a magician to get them to work (even the property manager’s trouble shooters conceded they don’t work correctly), (2) the oven trips a circuit breaker after 5 minutes or so (we finally stopped using it), (3) the microwave started popping and smoking when we tried to melt some butter, (4) the garage door codes don’t work (again the property manager concedes they don’t work), (5) very loud due to road noise on Queen Kamehameha highway and (6) the rugs are very dirty. It’s a nice place but not worth the price we paid with all of the above bugs. There are better properties in Wai’ ula’ ula.

The extra cost to use the hotel facilities is pretty steep. We would probably do something different next time.

The house was perfect! It came with boogie boards, coolers, umbrellas, beach chairs, towels, which made things very easy. The Resort package is well worth it even though it has increased in price. It would be nice if they would trim the hedge in the back yard to have a view, but otherwise the property is amazing and we will be coming back!

Our group of six had a great stay. Unit is very spacious and clean with most basic amenities provided. The unit has multiple ac units which was very useful in keeping bedrooms nice and cool. Pool and spa were clean and inviting, we used both every morning and evening! Best part was concierge service, which made it easy to answer basic questions. Would definitely recommend!

Great property, very well maintained, clean and spacious for a family of four. We bought the amenity package which had access to Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach hotels. The Mauna Kea beach is a top ten beach in the world! The amenity package is a must do! Our only concern one should be aware of is the highway noise from the main highway. Sitting outside, you will hear contant road noise. Other than that, you will enjoy this property!

The home is beautiful inside and out. And fully equipped for all our wants and needs. Our only complaint (and it’s a pretty major one) is the house is at the bottom of a hill, RIGHT behind the major highway. A hedge is there to cut down on noise, but that also blocks ALL view toward ocean.

We are frequent travelers to the big island and have stayed at many rental properties throughout the years. First the positives. Our stays are always on the Kohala coast line of big island where the best weather and resorts are located. This development is right in the middle of it close to the best beaches, golf courses, tennis facilities, restaurants and resorts. The house itself is new, well maintained and perfect for a couple or a large family.

This home was just as pictured. It was incredibly spacious and gorgeous! Our family was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the extra touches like laundry detergent and beach gear. The outdoor area is phenomenal and has a nice view of the mountains. The location was great. Very close to the resorts but tucked away in very high end community. The option to purchase access to the resorts is nice. We found it wasn’t necessary as both beaches have great public options. We loved going down to the resorts for dinner and drinks though. The only con was the road noise but it really isn’t that bad and didn’t bother us. A wonderful house!

This is a beautiful place. So serene. The hot tub/pool was great to use. Very relaxing. Was great four our family. Plenty of items to go to the beach as well. Only downside is the road noise.

Had a bit of a rocky start as the prior guests left the place in rough shape, but highly recommend this property.
