Overall had a great stay at this apartment. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Has 3 lanai. Pool very nice. Restaurant on site rarely open. Listing indicated there were barbecues but this is incorrect. This was an issue for me as this was one of the reasons I selected this place. Dishware needs updating and could use more, specifically some containers to put food in. Property manager promptly did bring us one extra bowl (one was cracked)and 2 wine glasses as there were none.

The studio was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Great location a couple of blocks from the beach. Could use some updating, but otherwise good value for location. The building however was run down. The pool area needed a thorough power washing, hallways kind of dingey. Pool area could be an oasis if spruced up.

If you are looking for a different experience than the usual Waikiki hotel, this is the place. Very comfortable, good location….walking distance to the beach and Waikiki restaurants, The pool area is a gem, very relaxing and feels secluded.

Nice location, close to beach. Unit and building are a bit worn. Could use a refresh although worked fine for a couple of nights.

The property was amazing with great views. Check in was super easy and communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. This place was perfect for my husband and I to stay for 10 days. The kitchenette was a great addition so we could make a few of our own meals and didn’t have to eat out all the time. The 3 balconies not only provide extra sitting space but if one balcony was in the sun you could go to the other balcony. The pool area is beautiful, lots of lush greenery and your choice of a hot tub or pool to dip in. We did rent a car for a couple of days but due to a broken garage door we were unable to utilize the parking spots. Great location in the hub of waikiki, we would stay here again in a heart beat.

Overall the experience was good not a five star. The bathroom door handle was broke, they didn’t have hot water only warm water for showers, the bed was shot and they had a cheep plastic toilet seat. The hotel was run down, floors in halls needed cleaned and some of the hotel staff were very uptight and grumpy. However the staff by pool were fun. I wouldn’t go back, but location was good. Close to beach, restaurants and shopping.

Wonderful, clean, comfortable room with a view of the ocean & only 2 blocks to the beach! Loved the pool & hot tub area surrounded by bamboo trees & bushes, lit up with pretty lights after dark. We ate 1 dinner at the poolside restaurant & it was great. Friendly staff were helpful.

I love the location. Just a few minutes from the beach. The balconies are awesome. My only issue was that the unit was not really that clean. The carpets were not vacuumed properly. The balcony sofa had sand on it. The balcony floors had not been brushed or vacuumed. Also, that beautiful bed comforter is not there so cannot really make the bed nicely. Overall good value for Waikiki. There is a nice pool area which is rare at this price level.

First off, this is NOT an Upscale hotel, let's get that out in front. It's an older hotel that has some room privately owned and operated by "Host ". With that being said, the only difference is that as a hotel guest, you can get fresh towels daily and have your roomed cleaned. The location is "TREMENDOUSLY CENTRALIZED" for the WAIKIKI area. We took the BUS everywhere and the bus stop was directly across the street from the Bamboo (our VRBO). Bus fare is $3.00 a trip or $7.50 US for a full day pass. There's a "restaurant " on-site, but honestly, it sucked. We ordered fries and onion rings, they both arrived warm at best. We informed the waitress(Amber) she then explained that it wasn't their normal distributor and they were using what they could get. Ok no biggie, but when we tipped only $10%, for the next 5 days, we were treated like we had the PLAGUE! That too Sucked, again not a deal breaker because you could bring in your own alcohol and they had a bbq grill. The restaurant was closed 3 days due to" computer issues". The room is an older styled and aged. It had a hot plate, microwave, bar sink and a mini fridge. We tried using the hot plate but it started to smoke up the room, so we never used it again. The TV guide only let you see the shows, but you could not scroll up and down in the guide. We brought our Amazon cube, so that solved our problem. We met other guests that said their rental had a full sized fridge. There's 3 laundry areas, each just having one washer and dryer, they cost $3.00 per load payable by credit or debit card NOT COINS or CASH. The pool and hot tub are small, luckily they were never busy, so we were not impacted. Another quirk is that your room key does not open the bathroom at the pool, so you have to use the bars key, which is OK, if it's open, otherwise you have to go to front desk to have an attendant open up the door, strange. Our room had 3 balconies, kinda cool, and 2 of them looked down at the pool area, nice. The on-site bbq is old, but I managed to rock it for 4 meals. We'd come back and stay again. Nice stay if you're not needing to be pampered.

Pros: - Extremely close to the beach - great value for money - Really nice bathroom!!! - 3 balconies (2 with great views - slightly obstructed) - AC - “Kitchen” appliances are pretty decent and functional (pots, pans etc) - Pretty quite (only borders one room) - Pool area is really nice w/ 10% at the restaurant Cons: - TV didn’t work during our stay but didn’t really stay in too much so wasn’t a huge deal - There is a pretty bad small ant problem so I’d highly recommend you don’t leave any baked goods/sweets/food out - Few hairs found in the shower and in the apartment when we checked in - Toaster could be replaced - Lower shower bar in kitchen is a bit wonky and could use a tightening Things to note: - Parking: on site parking is available on a first come first serve basis ($30 nightly) - so we’d recommend calling prior to trip to reserve your spot. If none is available there is parking at 333 Seaside Ave for $15 for 9 hours - we did over night here during our stay. - There’s a small parking garage next door that was recommended to us but it’s only good if you don’t plan to move your car

The room looked just like the pictures, and had three balconies. The building itself was pretty nice, and I recommend visiting the restaurant by the pool area. It's very centrally located, just a quick walk to the beach, restaurants, and a variety of shops. I would book the same room if I came back to Waikiki, although I was surprised to not find any hand soap!

Room and write up were accurate. Slightly worn facilities. Had difficulty with plumbing and had to smell sewer gases through the night. Issue was resolved the next day with multiple phone calls. The bartender /owner /manager was not polite to hotel guests wanting to use the pool and lounge chairs.

I’ll be honest - we didn’t have issue with the unit itself, the unit was clean and as described and location was convenient to amenities. property manager was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to requests. The only issue we had was the facility itself. The condo is also a hotel, but the cleanliness on the hotel was a bit to be desired. The elevators, the glass windows, the lobby, the pool area all felt a little “not exactly clean” Also - The tables around the pool are reserved for the restaurant after 5 and guest are relegated to only three tables - this was a bit inconvenient as these were always occupied. Also, the bar is BYOB because they have not been able to renew their liquor license since covid. So your can only sit at a table if you spend some a minimum of 2o bucks, yet it’s byob… As I said - the unit itself is fine and we had a good experience. The facility itself is what lowers my overall rating.

Great location and value! The building is getting older but well maintained. The fridge stopped working and luckily my husband got it working again (but did lose some food to spoilage). The beach chair was broken as well as the beach umbrella. Staff was great, and pool area was wonderful! Mark responded quickly to all concerns but did nothing about food lost or broken beach chair. Would recommend a memory foam mattress cover too as mattress is older.

This condo was in a very good location. Easy walks to the zoo, downtown area where we found multiple restaurants and great shopping.

Our room was perfect for the two of us. The pool Area was great, there was never a wait for the elevator. The location was perfect, just a small walk to the beech, ABC store or to a number of restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay and now have a new favorite place to stay if we ever make it back to Honolulu

This small, but comfortable place has everything. Great location, porches with multiple views, and a tiny kitchen to accommodate real cooking. The Bamboo property has a lovely secluded pool and hot tub, perfect for afternoon relaxing. Need a cocktail or food? It's just a step away at the on site bar and restaurant. With a few adjustments to the room, this could be your best kept secret. I would definitely book again, response was prompt, and description was accurate.

Perfectly Sufficient for a fun time in Waikiki - loved the multiple balconies. The small pool and hot tub was nice in the evening after a day of hiking. Only down major Con is that parking is difficult - but that is the case at any affordable place in Waikiki.
