The location was central in Lahaina. Resort grounds and property were beautiful and clean. The suite was perfect for me, my husband, and our 2 teenage kids. Love the gorgeous view from the balcony, and having my morning coffee/evening glass of wine on the lanai. The bed was comfortable, and the suite was clean with all the necessities and more. The full sized fridge with ice maker was helpful. Really enjoyed the beachfront. Snorkeled and swam with the turtles and fish! Check in and check out was a breeze. Underground garage parking can be tough to get at times during the evening/night. Alternative parking can be found outside throughout the hotel grounds, but a further walk back to the suite. At least parking is free :) Host responds quickly. Would recommend staying here, and hopefully will be back to enjoy it again!

This place was perfect for our stay! Great location, clean and well furnished. We loved walking to Dukes, hanging out in the hot tub and pools in the evenings and using the outside BBQ! We never had a problem finding a spot at the pool but we did go later in the afternoon/evening. Owners were great communicators and made sure we were happy. For the price and location you can't beat it. We would happily stay here again. Thank you!

Our Hula Hideaway stay at Honua Kai was, simply put--unforgettable. We're so grateful to the team at HH, who were readily available to answer any questions we had and make recommendations of all kinds for our family of four. The resort property was amazing and more lovely than we anticipated. When we first drove up and peered through the main lobby to the postcard views of the beautiful Maui coastline and ocean beyond, we almost couldn't believe it--we thought surely this wasn't the right property--it was too nice!
Our room was perfect for our needs--the full kitchen and in room laundry were life savers--not to mention the fully openable glass doors and wall that give total access to the lanai and views of the ocean--wonderful!
This property was fantastic and we'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The team at Hula Hideaway and their excellent service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and frequent, clear delivery of information made our experience that much better and allowed us to enjoy our vacation worry free--we truly felt taken care of.

Jill and her team truly care so much about their guests. They are immediately responsive for any issues that arise and truly make you feel like family. Every inch of the place was luxurious and decorated fabulously. Not a single piece of cheap decor or furniture in sight. The bed, the cleanliness, and the view were all 10/10. We saw whales and turtles every day. Our stay at Jill’s places were hands down our favorite during our 2 weeks stay!

We enjoyed our time at the Honua Kai Konea resort. The location was perfect. Many restaurants and shopping close by. The condo was as described and well stocked. The resort amenities and pools exceeded our expectations. We shopped at the resort store and the many local grocery stores. Most nights we were able park in the garage. The other nights the valet was simple and quick. Communication with Jill and property management was always timely. Oh, and the views from the Lanai, the rainbows and sunsets at the beach were pure paradise!

My husband and I recently stayed here for our first trip to Maui! The location of the resort is perfect, there are lots of restaurants near by within 10-15 minutes (driving distance). The room itself is exactly as the photos appear, clean, updated, spacious, plenty of kitchen utensils/tools, updated bathroom with dual sinks, in unit laundry with detergent, patio with clean furniture and view of the ocean & resort. We were so impressed and pleased by the unit.
The resort felt a bit more family focused (we were there in summer), but lots of pools, chairs, access to the beach. Valet is easy and quick but work 7am to 10pm (although they were there earlier if you let them know). There is one coffee shop and one restaurant (Duke's), so recommend making alternative dinner reservations if staying for a few nights and prefer to eat out.

We loved our stay in room 215. The room was perfect for my husband and I. We had an issue with the iron not working and the dryer in the room, but the management quickly responded, and we had a new iron the next morning and the dryer fixed. We would recommend staying here.

This was an amazing room and entire facility!! Would definitely stay here again and again. I didn't give the cleaning 5 stars just because the fine detailing of cleaning wasn't done. Like the ledges on on outside of bathtub was scum dust build up and also all floor base boards and inside closets were thicker dust, actual floors felt sticky BUT even with that said it was clean of the important things like bug free, sheets clean, etc. Loved the location, amenities and size of room was just right! Didn't think I would love this area as much as I did!

What a great 5 days in Kaanapali! The condo is beautiful and has everything you need to enjoy your time at the property or down at the beach. You have all the comforts of home BUT with an amazing view. The pool area is beautiful with several pools to choose from, one with a water slide that our daughter enjoyed going down during our stay. There is a great walking trail where my wife and I walked down to Black Rock and Whaler’s Village. There are food trucks steps away if you want some delicious affordable food options or restaurants that are a bit more upscale minutes away.

This rental was amazing. The location was perfect, and the amenities at the resort couldn’t have been better. We were also very pleasantly surprised to see how full of a kitchen it was. We were able to cook in a few nights so that we could just enjoy ourselves at the resort. We assumed you would have to make do with limited pots, pans, and utensils. However, it was fantastic that we had essentially a full kitchen like at home. The cleanliness was great, and everyone was very friendly. Check in and out was also very easy. Thank you!

We stayed here for 9 nights. The Honoa Kai Konea is a very high end condominium complex. Amazing pools and grounds. The unit was clean, however, it seems that it has not been kept up appliance wise. For example, the a/c was not working when we arrived, bathtub didn’t stop up, ice machine had been turned off and left ice trays in freezer. I called and they sent maintenance that day, and it was all fixed. While those issues were fixed quickly, the other appliances were old and not use to what I would expect from this property. Just because this is Hawaii and we had a fabulous time, the owners have not updated any appliance. I got to the point that I didn’t even cook anymore since there was NO GARBAGE DISPOSAL, and the dishwasher was not cleaning the dishes.. so, I ended up fishing food out of the sink and washing dishes myself, that is not what I want to do on my 20 year anniversary vacation, in addition, the hot water tank would run out, to the point that I couldn’t even take a bath, hot water would run out. When I went to iron my sold dress that I bought for pictures, the iron spat out mildewed sand all over my dress. Last night, hubby got out vacuum to vacuum up sand, and it didn’t work!Again, the problem is this unit has not maintained appliances and I do not believe up to the standards of the Honoa Kai. There was missing flooring pieces, again. Owners need to keep this up to what it was when they bought it. I feel like the wool was pulled over my eyes since you can’t tell these little things online, until you get there. If these little things don’t bother you, then, this is a great place. I will come back to Honoa Kai, but will make sure the unit I rent has been maintained.

This condo was perfect! It had all the amenities we needed and even extras we didn’t know we’d need like a cooler for our trip to Hana!
The beds are comfortable and the washer and dryer were a huge plus. We have the best view and loved that it’s only in the 2nd floor. We’re super close to an elevator that leads to the courtyard.
The owners are great at communicating and were so kind! 100% recommend!

Starting off with the positives before we get to the negatives, the location was great! We were right off the beach with a beautiful view of mountains in the distance. The restaurant Dukes was hands down the place to eat in Maui and all of the staff there were the absolute nicest people. I can’t say enough good about dukes. But to the negatives, the floors are so thin that you will hear your neighbors moving the furniture around all times of the day and night. Most of the staff in the resort itself are ok but we had a couple people who were just plain rude. One of my biggest negatives are the room itself. The tub doesn’t seal at all, so you can’t use it. You can’t turn down the ac, we had it “set” to 65 but it never actually went down past 71. Also some of the cups and appliances don’t work. Some of the cups were cracked and the toaster itself the inside burners don’t work only the outsides ones. And lastly we heard several nights the scurrying and chewing sounds of a mouse or rodent type creature. We paid 3000 for 9 days. I personally think it could’ve been better.

The amenities at this property were very nice. Including the swimming pools restaurants and especially a concierge to help book activities.
The unit provided beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, and a boogie board. Even though the ocean front by the hotel is not booger boogie board friendly. You have to go down the beach a ways.
All in all a very nice unit.

This place was fantastic! The bed was comfortable. The Wi-Fi was easy to figure out. The amenities like the swimming pools, nice restaurant, and especially concierge‘s to handle any booking needs were great. We had a bit of a hiccup with the AC and went two nights without AC. There’s a ceiling fan that moved a bit of air, but we ended up going in purchasing A standup fan and donated it to the next guest, when we left. All in all it was a great studio.
