Ocean Palms Villa is a large 3 bedroom home that sleeps 6 and is exquisitely furnished with 2 Master Suites each with their own luxurious bath, and 3rd bedroom with its own luxurious bathroom right outside the door. This home is perfect for families or three couples looking to share a home while having space, privacy and near equal size rooms and baths.
The first master has a King bed, access to lanai and amazing ocean views in the morning. The second master has a King bed and has an ocean view that is equal to the first master. Both masters have a large ensuite bath with soaker tub, gorgeous high-end cabinets and frameless glass showers. The third bedroom features two TwinXL beds that can be combined as King with gel topper. There is a bath just outside the door that is just as luxurious as the other two master baths.
The airy open concept main room includes kitchen, dining area, great room, and large covered lanai with grill. The large dining room table will comfortably accommodate six people plus 3 at the expansive kitchen island. The large lanai doors disappear into the wall for complete blend of indoor and outdoor living.
The lanai features comfy chairs and couches for reading, dining area with room for six, and outdoor kitchen. The lanai has an overlooking view of the Wai'ula'ula community with the expansive ocean as a backdrop.
The living room features a large Ultra HD 4K TV.
Ocean Palms Villa is at the end of a quiet court, yet only a short walk to the Wai'ula'ula gated community recreation center and pool. This recreation center boasts an infinity pool that is to die for, and a kids pool for those with little ones. Lay on loungers in the water, enjoy the hot tub spa or cuddle up with your kids on one of the big orbital day beds. The recreation center also has a fitness center with stunning views of the pools and expansive Hawaii scenery.
As nice as this is, the real treat with Ocean Palms Villa is that it is part of the Mauna Kea Beach and Hapuna Beach resorts. This means you can opt into the program that allows you to use the hotel chairs and towel service at either beach or the hotel pools. Mauna Kea Beach is so popular that people not staying at the hotel will fight for one of the small handful of parking spots by arriving at the beach before 8am. When you stay at Ocean Palms Villa and sign up for the resort program you do not need to worry about that. Enjoy your relaxing breakfast and go down to the uncrowded beach when you are ready.

The condo is very well furnished with all the amenities needed for a great vacation. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and every utensil, pots and appliances you can think of. The location is great and the view from the balcony is a big plus.

This is a nice second floor unit. It is well furnished and comfortable. Nice sunset views. We have stayed at a first floor unit previously. These are really spacious, well appointed units. We make use of the resort pass for using the pool, beach access, gym and parking. Well worth it.

The house was everything that was advertised. The 3 bedrooms were larger than we expected and the closet space and bathrooms were exceptionally large and spacious. The living area was wonderful for entertaining and with the sliding doors moved into the walls the large outside patio/deck brought the tropics inside. We used the Complex pool and area along with the beach and pool at Hapuna. Both were very nice. When we come back to the Big Island we feel there is no better place to stay than this condo.

We loved our stay here. The residence was beautiful and clean and the rooms were spacious and cozy. The outdoor deck with the wall of windows provided an amazing indoor-outdoor experience. We appreciated using the outdoor grill and the large media screen was great for movie nights. We are so glad we purchased the resort pass which provided extra amenities and activities at the Mauna Kea Beach Resort and the Westin Hapuna. The customer service team was also excellent and very responsive to questions in preparation and during our stay. The water pressure and hot water in one of the bathrooms needs adjustment but this did not deter our enjoyment of our stay. We would definitely like to stay here again. This is the second time we stayed in this unit. I think the unit needs to be refreshed. For instance…. Beds are very firm and lumpy, rugs are stained, glass dining table is impractical for a family of 7.
Knives are dull, pots and pans are all scratched,dishes are chipped. We were there for almost 3 weeks and they didn’t replenish supplies such as paper towels,and dryer sheets. . We
enjoy the area and location and will probably return next year but ask for a different unit.

My family lived on the Big Island in Waikoloa for 8 years in the 80s when my siblings and I were children. We recently had a family reunion at the Wai’ula’ula properties and I stayed with my children at this property. The stay was wonderful. We were very comfortable and enjoyed all the amenities. My only quibble is that the description said there would be tennis rackets in the garage and there were not. I had told my daughters we could do tennis one morning, but that didn’t work out. Everything else was perfect!
