Great location near Kihei shops/cafes and the beaches. Condo has everything you need for a comfortable stay but cleaning needs improvement. Sheets were dirty, hair and nail clippings in the bathroom sink, food on the kitchen countertops. Had to spend the first hours of my vacation washing the sheets and cleaning surfaces.

We enjoyed our stay at the condo. It had everything you need to feel at home. We liked to hang out at the lanai, the only thing it needed is lights when it gets dark. We had our breakfasts and some dinners there.
Parking was free and easy, there are quite a few restaurants within walking distance, and a lot more if you drive a little further. Charlie Young beach is right across the street, very convenient.
The air conditioner in the bedroom was a little noisy so we turned it off at night. There is a ceiling fan and another big fan that can be used.
Overall, it was a very nice experience.

Location was convenient for day travels throughout Maui and easy to get in and out of the property. Dont miss Baby Beach in Lahaina and Slaughterhouse Beach if you are traveling with childeren.

The location was great for getting anywhere in Kihei. The parking was a breeze. The apartment was stocked with pretty much anything you could need AND it was decorated beautifully. I wish we would have stayed here for all the nights we were on Maui!

I have stayed in many Kihei condos and this one is on par with all the up-to-date units. Well appointed with all the accessories you need. Comfortable bed (which is one of the harder things to get in a rental). The location is the real winner here. A short walk to Kalama park for water sports and beaches, but also shops, restaurants, food trucks right across the street. Also walking distance to Charley Young Beach (probably the most underrated and least crowed beach in Kihei) as well as Kam 1 if you don’t mind walking a little further. We were in building 3 on this property, the furthest away from S Kihei Rd, and it was nice and quiet.

We impressed with how well stocked the condo was, it had everything you need. The unit is beautiful, having been recently remodeled. It has a comfortable king bed, air-conditioning, new smart tv with an impressive array of channels. Everyone we met that lived or worked at the condo was very friendly. I will definitely check availability for my next trip. Mahalo!

We had a terrific experience here. I could easily live at this property as my full time, primary residence, and have a happy life. The only bump we had was figuring out how to lock the front door (which I figured out myself after a few minutes), and the host was very prompt with communications making us feel well looked after.

Laura's place was perfect for our Maui visit. Central to eatries, shopping and the beach. She had beach gear available for our use. Security was available on the property. Condo had plenty of parking available. Can't wait to go back.

Had an amazing 3 weeks in Maui. This unit at the Maui Vista has been renovated and has a new updated kitchen. It was nice to have those additional items like spices and olive oil in the kitchen as well as both dishwasher and laundry soap. While we were there the hockey playoffs were on and while we do not watch a lot of tv on vacation my husband did appreciate the special channels so he could watch his team. This is a very private and quiet unit as it is the last unit in building 3. Because of that we had no problems having a great sleep every night and the very comfortable king size bed also helped. Would highly recommend this unit!

First off, I have nothing but great things to say about the location (2 minutes away from Charley Young beach - my family’s long time favourite beach on Maui), the check in/out process, communication with Laura and parking. All fantastic. The only things I would consider before booking this place are the following:
1. The floors were very VERY dirty. There were old takeout container lids underneath the coffee table that weren’t cleared out before we came. Our socks and shoes became blackened by the dirty floors and when we would wipe the floors of water or ice, the paper towel would come up completely black. The fridge was also littered with old crumbs and definitely wasn’t cleaned properly before we arrived.
2. Do not expect to do much cooking here. There is no salt/pepper/spices/oils anything really to cook with but there are sufficient pots/pans/cutlery with good appliances to use. The salt shaker had mold on the top and the salt had solidified when I went to grab it and turn it upside down. It was disgusting. Also be prepared to purchase your own coffee for the drip machine.
3. The property is at the back of the complex which isn’t as private as we may have hoped. The garden hose is at the back of the wall next to the unit’s patio so cleaners and gardeners would go in and out of the lanai area and look into the unit. That’s fine but the problem was that some of the blinds were broken inside the unit so they didn’t close all the way... so don’t expect complete privacy when you’re trying to watch TV or you’re in the kitchen area/doing laundry.
Overall, it was a nice unit for good beach access but I would definitely hesitate to book it again due to the cleanliness concerns. I’ve been coming to Maui for years but haven’t ever stayed at a unit that was so dirty.
