Place was okay but not priced well for the condition and appearance of the unit. The buildings have zero curb appeal and the pool is very small given the number of potential users that are in the buildings. Napoli beach is touted as the place to go, a few blocks away, but beach was jammed, and we stayed in this area in low season. But well located for touring the area.
Condo is comfortable, on the small side, with some upgrades on furniture in the living room that are nice. But the finishing in the kitchen is lacking compared to other similarly priced rentals in this area, especially on the interior cupboards, electric coil stove is old, burners are tricky, and likely needs replacement. Beautiful dishes and pots but drawer items could use some additions. Overall, the kitchen, the bathroom tub area and bedroom cupboard and dresser reminded me of a cabin. Baseboards, shower door silicone area, tub taps are grimy, and any shelves above 5 feet are not getting much attention from cleaners. Balcony area is very small and does not have the table shown in the pics. Refrigerator is also not as shown, and is very small, so don’t arrive with too many fridge or freezer groceries! AC is nice and quiet. Bed is comfortable but is topped with a foam mattress that is quite hot. Great supply of beach items, much appreciated. Well supplied with towels.

The owner was so helpful, always immediately returned email answers. She even called to help me figure something out. I loved the closet full of beach equipment to use. The condo had everything we would need. It was decorated nicely, air conditioned and super clean. We loved it.

Our rental had everything we needed to enjoy our trip to Maui. There was snorkeling gear, boogie boards, beach chairs, as well as several items in the kitchen allowing us to cook our own meals. The air conditioner worked well and we enjoyed our home away from home.

The property owner has rules for the air conditioner and has fans in most rooms. Unfortunately the bedroom fan was broke. I reached out to the owner and she never responded with the status of getting it fixed until I reached out two days later. Not a bad place but the "follow up" could be improved.

In the last review from Paul A, I certainly would have passed knowing there were cockroaches. IMHO, roaches are not cute, but disgusting. And they are not a Maui thing, but more an unclean person thing. I counted 20 from babies to granddads. My biggest concern was them getting into suitcases.
With that said, in my opinion, they were "visiting" roaches. This unit was clean and well kept. As someone borrowing the property, we did our part as well to keep dishes washed, countertops cleaned, and the floor mop. In the 10 days, we had a few each day, that seemed to be exploring. Someone in building is not clean. But I feel the owners are doing their best to manage it. It wasn't a bad as my first concerns.
Unless you have a phobia for them, I wouldn't just discount this property as an option. You could just as easily find them anywhere at any price point. And other than that, this place was perfect, by every means.
It is a really nice size. It was very comfortable, and easy to sleep. It was very quiet the entire time. Other than food, if you need anything, you just need to open doors and cabinets, and you'll likely find it.
The location was a little hard to find via GPS. There were 3 separate entrances, and this was the third. The units are not logically numbered. After being up for 23 hours, I am sure part of the issue was me. After you get settled in, the location is great.
The only other dislike is the property manager, who lacks some guest relations experience.

The sofa sleeper is really old and lumpy, but the bedroom bed is comfy with a memory foam topper. There was a greeting party of two small roaches, one in kitchen and one in living room, that let you know you were really on Maui! They look cute in the photos with the hula skirts.

Location and property was perfect - was on 2nd floor, condo had everything I needed. Short walk to Napili Beach which was perfect. The only downside for me was the bed was too soft - but I just moved to the sleeper sofa and it was perfect. (I sleep on a firm mattress at home). And, even with sleeping on sofa bed, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I spent 12 days here and the complex was super quiet the entire time and everyone I did come across was super friendly. The owners were super responsive and appreciated that!

We loved walking to the beach. We are swimmers so we loved the easy access to water. We brought our bikes and cycled the West Maui loop. The local grocery has an excellent supply. We always chose the locally grown and produced products.

Owners were great to communicate with. The property is in a quiet area along a road with no outlet. Never heard neighbors or traffic when we were inside with the doors closed. Slept well, bed comfortable. Wifi worked, tons of TV channels for down time. Just two blocks from BEAUTIFUL Napili beach. Pool was nice and boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach chairs, cooler, etc available for use. And parking is included! We didn't realize until we got to Maui how huge that is! Several restaurants in walking distance and lots of walkers/runners along main road for anyone looking for a place for exercising. Also, Kapalua Coastal Trail close by for a short, pretty hike. Would definitely stay again.

Napili is a north shore enclave between Lahaina and Kapalua. As far as location goes, it’s quite convenient.
Hosts were accommodating and understanding, even going so far as to have the housekeeper send us an engagement letter from Mama’s Fish House that we’d forgotten at the property.
Can’t reccomend the area or the owners enough. Hope to come back again sometime.

Loved the apartment and all it's amenities and our hosts were incredibly considerate. Word to the wise, if you arrive at nighttime the screen door is difficult to see through and you may have trouble seeing the unit number, as well as the key lock box. The screen door is unlocked and you can pull it open, though if you don't have this information, it might be tough to figure out, especially at nighttime after a day of travel.

Very nice place but they forgot to mention that we had to climb up and down 15 steps to get to the property which was inconvenient with all the baggage.
We could not find extra mattresses on our first night as they did not specify where it was kept. The owner gave us a $100 refund which was very kind of them.
Loved the location and convenience of all the restaurants & beaches.

Awesome. The place and the hosts were incredible. The most well stocked place I've ever stayed in, they had everything! A nice walk to Napili beach, cool breezes blow through the 2nd story place with a surprisingly awesome ocean view of sunsets over the coast of Molokai. Stunning.
The place is nothing fancy or modernly renovated so if that's your need I would look elsewhere. But it's true to the photos and was surprisingly clean and everything worked well. The price and location were prime!
We stayed for a month with our 2 boys 2.5 and 4 months during family leave. They had tons of beach toys for kids, snorkeling gear for kids, pool noodles, everything!
Kitchen had condiments, spices, coffee grinder and maker, water filter, pancake griddle, pots/pans, utensils, everything.
The hosts were awesome too. They responded to messages within seconds and when we asked for possibly faster wifi so we could telework, they got it for us in 3 days without complaint. Now there is 400mbps download wifi.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are ready to go back again. We will miss the daily walks to the beach and the evening views on the balcony. Highly recommend!

The apartment had everything we needed, lots of towels, toilet paper, cleaning stuff etc. The kitchen is well equipped, selection of spices and oils is impressive, although we did not have a chance to cook much. We used beach chairs, which were very comfortable and in good condition. The mattress is extremely comfortable, I believe it is a “don’t disturb” type. The AC in the bedroom is on a louder side, but not too bad, ear plugs can fix it for a light sleeper.
