This was the best rental home we’ve ever stayed at. Fully stocked, super clean, loved that we had access to vacuum to clean up after ourselves. The view was AMAZING even though the weather was not. The beach toys in the garage was a huge bonus. Beds were comfortable, it was spacious, and a great location! Definitely check out the secret beach while you’re here!!

This property was absolutely stunning! We throughly enjoyed the unbeatable sunrise view from the lanai. The kitchen was well appointed which was important for our family as we enjoy cooking meals together even when on vacation. Overall, we had enough starter supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms to last the entire week. We also sincerely appreciated the beach gear and bikes that were available in the garage. A bonus was the website provide by the property owners which provided tour and restaurant recommendations on the island. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

This was our first trip to Hawaii and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The view is unbelievable and we enjoyed the sunrise every morning. The house has everything you could need, and we appreciated the snorkel gear, cruiser bikes and beach equipment available. We feel so lucky to have found Orchid Point and highly recommend to anyone looking to stay on Kauai.

We enjoyed seeing the wildlife wander by the patio every day: roosters, hens, chicks, nenes, and a cat.
The place is fully stocked with more than you could think of! Be sure to make pancakes with the fantastic griddle in one of the upper cabinets.

Could not ask for more. Sunrise over the ocean, sound of the waves and wind through palm trees, Anini reef and beach in view. Manicured grounds. Relative privacy. Mini split zoned air conditioning allows windows open in some rooms and cooler drier air in others. Beds, pillows, bedding, kitchen supplies and espresso machine are the quality of home instead of rental quality. The beach toys are icing on the cake. Clear prompt communication from the owners ensure no problems. Whether you’re coming for relaxation or adventure, this is the place.

It’s a quiet area with a short walking distance to a lovely secluded beach. There is even a secret waterfall there! The condo provided beach umbrella, beach chairs, snorkels, surfboards which was great for us.
If you are looking for nightlife, that’s the wrong place.

We got there late in the afternoon meet two nice ladies in the driveway when we arrived and visited for awhile. They were the housekeepers and had just cleaned upstairs unit. They left and then we went into unit and found the place a total mess. The counters were covered with dirty pots and pans, the sink was full of dirty dishes,the bedrooms had sheets and blankets all over the floor and dirty towels all over the bathroom floors, The place was a total disaster can’t believe that someone would leave a place looking like that. Called Albert right away and said there was some missed communication with the housekeepers and got a whole of them and they came back right away. I told them since it was getting late and they were on their way home to just take care of the beds and bathrooms and worry about the kitchen tomorrow .They insisted on cleaning the whole house it took two hours just to clean the kitchen. They did a super job and you could tell they were exhausted when they got done. Albert you should be proud of them and lucky to have good help. After that the stay was wonderful. Thanks

When you open the front door and see the views, you know it’s going to be a great vacation! We loved the spacious property, which was perfect for our family of four (teenagers included). It’s well stocked with all the helpful items you could need, including extra aloe vera for our sunburns! We especially appreciated all the beach items to use, a well appointed kitchen, and even binoculars to watch the whales and waves from the patio. The awesome espresso maker (with provided coffee) made morning coffee on the patio, watching the sunrise over the ocean, extra special. Be sure to follow the trail close to the condo…and at the end of it, turn left to hike around to a beautiful beach OR turn right and hike back to a hidden (and private) waterfall. The unit is close to other walking trails and just a short drive to shops, restaurants and the grocery story. We definitely hope to come back here!

What an amazing place to stay with exceptionally helpful hosts. Albert was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, making our holiday stay in Kauai one of the best travel experiences we have had. The location is beautiful and coffee every morning on the patio overlooking Anini Beach was the perfect way to start each day. The condo had everything we needed and then some. We can’t wait to return to Kauai and will definitely stay here again!

Communication from The owners was great, offering suggestions of things to do during our stay here. The added bonus of having boogie boards, bikes, beach chairs, etc was incredible. We used them everyday!! The best beach on the island is only about a 15 min drive 😎

Every day of our stay began with a cup of cappuccino sitting on the veranda to watch the sunrise together. The setting was complete with a gentle breeze, sounds of the ocean, and roosters greeting the morning. It was thoroughly delightful! The condo is among the nicest we've ever stayed in our travels over the years. There was plenty of space for my husband and I, along with our daughter, son-in-law, and 2-year-old grandson. Albert was extremely accommodating and was a gracious host. We hope to return to this little slice of Heaven, perhaps next year. Wow! What a beautiful condo. Situated on the northern part of the island overlooking the ocean. This condo is convenient to beaches, restaurants, and a grocery store. The owner has supplied snorkel equipment, beach chairs and beach towels. The only negative I could give is the walls are very thin. We heard the guest upstairs walking and their child crying. We had read previous reviews and had taken earplugs for our lighter sleepers. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and all types of kitchen utensils. We also used the grill twice and it was clean and had propane. The patio is a little small but still large enough to have a drink and do some star gazing at night. We definitely will be returning to this condo on our future trips. Aloha

This place was perfect. It was just my husband and I but this place can easily fit another couple and kids. The place was very spacious and had an amazing view of the ocean. Location is awesome. End unit, 20’ from the bluff at the edge of the development gives you a beautiful ocean view and access to a short trail down to a private beach. Only drawback is the upstairs neighbors can be loud if they are heavy footed.

A beautiful, incredibly clean, incredibly well stocked condo just minutes from everything and with a stunning ocean view. Albert was very responsive and it is clear that he cares about their guests having a good experience. The "only" thing that prevents me from giving 5 stars all the way around is that the ceilings are thin and you can hear the upstairs neighbors stomping around at all hours. When I complained, Albert immediately had the upstairs owner call those guests and the noise stopped for a day but then started again. The same thing happened with the following upstairs guests and it was bothersome. Also, the unit to one side has an adjoining patio, so there isn't the absolute privacy that we would have liked, but such is the way sometimes with private rentals. Lastly, the garage is shared with one of the other units, and although it wasn't a problem for us, it could have been if the other guests wanted to use some of the beach supplies. Otherwise, it really was perfect.

It was the perfect place. View was amazing! The fact that they had equipment to use was a huge plus for us. You need beach stuff but you don't want to buy it cause you can't bring it back with you. So having that option was amazing. Kitchen well stocked with supplies for cooking. My husband was upset he didn't think to use the espresso maker sooner, because it was awesome he said. We had one minor issue and it was handled in a professional manner. We would most definitely consider booking this place again.

Albert was the best owner I have ever worked with. The extra amenities at the rental such as the beach gear (surf boards, boogie board, beach chairs and wagon) made our stay much easier. The entire family loved kicking off our morning using the espresso maker. The view from the living room and patio was breathtaking. Our first trip to Kauai with our children is one we will never forget thanks to the great condo and amenities. The location is fantastic and everyone fell in love with Hanalei just a short drive away. On one of our last days in town we discovered the fish market behind the Dolphin restaurant that has fresh sushi. Grab some take-out chowder from here. Thanks to Albert for the wonderful stay!

Wow, this place was even nicer than the photos. I echo all of the other reviews here, which gave me high expectations that were actually exceeded, from the welcome bottle of wine and snacks to the stunning view and outstanding communication from the very helpful host/owner. Our two weeks on Kauai at Orchid Point were blissful. We have been to every island and have stayed at many different locations but Orchid Point topped all the others.
From start to finish, the owners were amazing. Excellent communication, direction, ease of entry, everything as promised, amazing!
The home itself was spacious, equipped and so comfortable. We were not lacking anything necessary for an island vacation.
And the view - stunning. The sights and sounds of the ocean were amazing. A daily reminder of why we continue to frequent the beautiful island of Kauai.

We had an amazing experience staying at this rental; Everything was beautiful and clean, and the owners were very kind and helpful. The location felt very safe and was close to a lot of beaches, such as Tunnels Beach, Hideaway Beach, and Anini Beach. Hanalei is also very close. Orchid Point was perfect. The fridge and pantry were well stocked with condiments and spices, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The unit was very clean, and communications with Albert were very prompt and easy. We loved being able to use the bikes and beach supplies. The view is extraordinary. Although we usually left the sliding glass doors open to enjoy the sea air, it was really nice to have air conditioning (that cooled very quickly) when we felt we needed to cool off a bit more. It’s perfectly located in Princeville, and just a short drive to Hanalei. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Aloha!

The Orchid Point Unit B Condo far exceeded my expectations. The photos do not do this property full justice. You walk in and are immediately greeted with breathtaking ocean views. The ceilings are so tall that it gives the space a relaxing, airy vibe! The decor is tasteful, and the place was sparkling clean. Everything you could ever want is at this condo. It’s stocked with things you didn’t even think you needed! The beds are so comfy and it has 3 bathrooms! The only slight negative is that the upstairs neighbors can be heard and can seem loud at times. It wouldn’t detract me from renting again. The easy walk to Sealodge beach was my favorite. It was the perfect place to snorkel and see the fantastic reef! We saw a ton of fish and even a Moray eel there! The Princeville Food center is an easy drive away for food and necessities. My husband and I enjoyed going for walks every day! We even walked to Queen’s Bath. The roosters and hens do love to wake you up but I found them charming. Thank you Albert & Anita for a wonderful property and we hope to be back someday!

We have stayed in lots of VRBO's all over Kauai, and this one is so dynamite it's ridiculous. Incredible view from the patio (on the cliff), super-fun trail down to a perfect private beach, minutes from Princeville and Hanalei beach. Very comfortable beds, nice kitchen with an espresso machine, 65-inch TV, just really, really well-outfitted. Communication was superb. When we come back to Kauai, we will definitely stay here again.

This property is freshly renovated, very well kept, and stocked with everything you need to feel at home.
The private trail down to the nearby beach was great, and the beach felt nice and secluded and was never crowded.
My favorite thing to do was sit on the zero-gravity chair on the lanai, which is on the edge of the cliff overlooking the Pacific. We’ve stayed in several of the newer resort properties on the island, all of which are much further setback from the ocean. Cannot beat this location!

I stayed at two different properties this trip. One before my Kalalau hike and this one after backpacking and camping.
I’m so thrilled this is my post hike stay! I was surprised to open the door and have my favorite wine waiting with some Maui onion chips and macadamia nuts. This just shows the detail and dedication the property owners have for their guests. 🥰 I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property.
The house keeping staff is fantastic. The condo doesn’t smell musty as many homes in Hawaii can. It’s definitely been updated recently and done well. The beds are comfortable and not lumpy. The master bath tub was my sanctuary and the plush towels had me in heaven. I’m truly grateful to have the opportunity to stay here.
The golf course is visible from the lanai (porch) and the ocean views are incredible. I could do without the roosters but that’s all of Hawaii. Don’t feed them, they are like cats and will try and come in!
The condo has many features we aren’t even going to use. It’s very well stocked for a family wanting a beach getaway. I love everything about this condo and I’ll definitely be back. I’ll make this my pre and post hike stay next time!

We had an awesome experience renting Anita and Albert’s property to celebrate our daughter birthday and our 15th anniversary). Watching the stunning sunrise in the mornings and sleep listening to the waves crashing was a terrific experience. We absolutely loved Sealodge Beach! It was just perfect for us (a family of 3 with an 11 yo child) who enjoy, secluded, beautiful with a touch of adventure to get there.

As a young family it was great to be in a relaxing environment to set goals for the new year! CLEAN is an understatement! The ocean views and sounds are unbeatable here! With a quick drive to Hanalei Bay we had loads of fun in the sun and checking out the shops! 10/10 would stay here again!

A rare find. We originally planned to stay here for 3 nights, but we enjoyed it so much that we eventually stayed for 2 weeks. The condo has a lot of space and Is very well equipped, beyond our expectations. Everything one might need for a vacation at the beach is there! The kitchen is well-stocked and even has an espresso machine. The view is amazing and the sound of the waves is most relaxing. You will need a car in Princeville (or maybe we are just lazy), but shops and Hanalei are nearby. Albert was very hospitable and responded very quick to all our questions. We looked around quite a bit, but it’s going to be hard to find anything of more value than this.

Wow! The pictures really don’t do this place justice. We felt honored to be the first guests to stay here, so will try to write a detailed review.
Sitting on the back deck you have a panoramic view of the North Shore of Kauai and hear the pounding surf. Great views from the living room and kitchen too! Surf sounds from every bedroom as well. The 2 bedrooms both have master baths. Living room is very comfortable with big screen tv, and two sofa sleepers. Dining room table seats six. Spacious kitchen had everything we needed, including an automatic espresso machine that makes outstanding coffee. Walking distance (about 10 minutes) to a beach with excellent snorkeling. Princeville Center is about one mile away with shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. Short drive to Hanalei which is a quaint Hawaiian town. Hosts were thoughtful enough to provide snorkel gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc so you have everything you need to start your vacation the minute you arrive. Can’t wait to return!
