Loved this condo. View from lanai was wonderful. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen (although knives and “nonstick” pans are not great). Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect view from the Lanai. Even watched whales for an entire day. Resort has three great pools. Our unit was very nice and well equipped except for two minor quibbles: the kitchen knives were terrible and tv remotes were troublesome. The place is very expensive including the extra charges for A/C which was absolutely necessary. But then everything is expensive on the Big Island. That said, this unit and resort are highly recommended.

This property looked exactly as it did online. The grounds were beautifully kept and the ocean front view made the stay wonderful. Would stay here again. There little things that could have been addressed such as the broken screen door we reported to the office and an issue with the sliding patio door screen but it did not take away from our stay.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying on this beautiful property in Kona, Hawaii. Upon our arrival we were greeted with beautiful panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean. From every room in the house, you had a water view and sitting on the balcony and watching the sun set over the ocean in the evenings was breathtaking. The property has great amenities that we took advantage of such as swimming in the pool, enjoying the hot tub, and cooking on the outside grills. The house itself was spacious and well maintained. Our stay here in Kona was an experience that my family and I will always remember. If you seek a location that combines natural beauty, comfort, and many activities in the area, then you have found it! I cannot recommend it highly enough!

The property is well-maintained and beautiful. The condo is large and clean. The adult pool is practically your own private space. Absolutely fantastic.

We stayed here in February. The condo was nice and spacious, just like the pictures. The view was exceptional. We enjoyed watching the sunsets on the balcony overlooking the ocean. We would highly recommend this condo and would stay here again.

The Shores is a nice, quiet development and is in a central location for getting around Waikoloa and the island. If we vacation again on the Big Island I certainly would rebook this property.

The furniture arrangements of this house is very nice. Beds are very nicely decorated and very comfortable. Shower is really good. The thing that are outdated are the sink faucets in the bathroom and they are dirty with rusty green color maybe from the cleaning materials and they were dirty. and they are gross. When you sit on their dining chairs you’ll go really low and you’re sinking and the floor are dirty. This house doesn’t even have a water filtered in their refrigerator and either the on their sink. My favorite in this house is the deck that you can see activities on the ocean and it’s very relaxing. I give this house a 4 points it’s because the view is really nice, but not sure if I will come back in this unit.

This is a great property. It is exactly as pictured. The view is fabulous, and the condo is very comfortable. There is a nice assortment of beach accessories including chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we return to the Big Island. We did end up paying extra for the AC. The apartment gets sun all day, so it gets hot when it’s closed up all day.

We have stayed at Kanaloa at Kona as our go-to Big Island home- away-from-home at least once a year for 20+ years. This unit we absolutely loved because of its location at the intersection of the ocean and the small bay, and its proximity to the tennis courts and pools. It is wonderfully updated and comfortable, clean and fully equipped. The views are superb. Additionally, we can't say enough about the ease of check-in. We definitely recommend the air conditioning, and having the separate units with remotes made everyone comfortable! Plenty of beach towels and outdoor equipment were available. We were delighted with our condo in every way All of our expectations were exceeded in terms of gracious hospitality and idyllc accommodations. Highly recommend this resort location, and especially this condo!

Loved the property with the best view possible. The property managers will leave you wanting as per reviews of many condos in the resort. They said they would bring more towels but never did for three days. There were only 3 thin beach towels For us to take to the pool. The bath and kitchen amenities are very nice. The microwave had not been wiped out before our stay. But overall I would stay here again due to location, nearby grocery and ocean side pool. This condo in particular is upgraded and comfortable. Know that air conditioning is a separate charge. We didn’t need it for March but others will want it in the summer.

We booked a surprise visit for our Dad's 80th bday and choose Kanaloa #3101 based upon location. Upon a late arrival, we found the wifi didn't work, housekeeping missed cleaning a few rooms but the beds were clean. First thing the next morning, we visited the Concierge and they were fantastic! Housekeeping was sent to clean and Maintenance had the wifi repaired by mid-afternoon. Five Stars! However, we were left with two coffee filters and sufficient soap to wash three loads of dishes - this for a 7-day stay. Upon inquiry with the Concierge, this is the responsibility of the Owner - very disappointing. I will bring my own laundry detergent and even dish soap, but any other required supplies, please advise so in the instructions. I'll bring coffee filters if needed however there are multiple types of coffee makers out there so do tell us what type to bring with us since you're not going to provide. Thankfully, our incredible Concierge gave us a sufficient quantity to carry us through the week. There's more. While the cleaning staff came to visit us, a prized 3/4 length forest green sweater of a significant value went missing from my suitcase. When visiting the Kanaloa resort, should you see a member of the cleaning staff wearing this sweater, please ask how they are enjoying it as it was a favourite of mine. If you're looking for a nicely appointed unit, keep looking at others in the Kanaloa resort. The linens are worn and torn and require replacement, the dishes are garage sale and dollar store value. That being said, if you can get past the low quality being provided by the owners of this unit, the location was great. With it's front row view of the ocean and waves crashing in, the sunsets provided the most spectacular shows.
